    Thank you so much for posting this video, you saved me a lot of money. I bought a scooter that had a removable base so it is going to be just bolt on, no need to cut or modify the base part. I already have the fish finder installed on the scooter mount, I will probably put it on the boat tomorrow

    This is awesome you should show how you mounted the screen to the handle a little more, I’m having troubles seeing it. I definitely want to build this

    it is smart for all of these guys to raise the unit off of the deck for a lot of reasons, but for some reason i can’t bring myself to have a laptop hovering in front of me while I fish. it’s hypocritical for sure. i have the same electronics…. just something about it.

      The springs he had fabricated into the mount appears to have accomplished 2 things. It has helped with lift assist and because they are connected to where the wheel once mounted prevents it from swinging freely.
