Drop your air if loading equipment. I have run equipment 22yrs. Loaded bags let the trailer move and bounce under you. It's nerve wracking

I agree but I never let the air out with the hydro tail. The tail comes down and will lift the trailer . When it’s down the trailer is rock solid except the truck.

i used to work for becker tire in great bend kansas. we had 53' enclosed trailers and our trucks (dodge 3500 and 5500 cab and chassis) where rated for 60,000lbsgvw you can poke around and there a pic that pops up when they had ford 650. the ford became a yard truck.

Only reason i see not to go with pj is the sag and the boxed sides instead of channel. If your going to keep it for 10 years it may rust from the inside out if your going to get a new one every few then it’s fine!

always drop your air out of your air bags when dropping your trailer. if the air leaks out with your dolly legs down the trailer moves forward and you will bend them and they will be tight going in and out. also too when your unloading anything heavy

Advice. I never dump air with tail down . It’s solid.
But turn the compressors off at night when it’s cold. The brass fittings will freeze up and they will freeze up on real cold days while running. I keep a 12volt heater in the box. If they freeze up I run the heater for a bit and good to go. Mostly they freeze up over night or a weekend and wake up in the am to bull crap.

Awesome video. You have inspired me so much. I am looking to upgrade my current trailer. But 2 things I am on the fence about. Going with a 40 or 44ft trailer and the deck on the neck. Now that you have had some time with the new set up. Would you have done anything differently? Are you still liking the 44ft or would you have rather went with the 40ft? Please keep the videos coming.
If you have a cab chassis truck, I would say go the route of the longer deck. If you have a pick up truck wuth bed, then you can’t go longer than 40ft. But I wouldn’t change anything on the trailer besides just having more support under the belly and then maybe spread the axles a bit more. But length wise and the deck over the neck has been huge. Also consider a step deck depending on your chassis length.

I highly recommend you install a solar panel battery charger because the trickle charge from your truck is not gonna be enough. My buddy has a trailer like that Always had a problem with the batteries not having enough charge untiI then problem solved. He installed one solar panel to charge all the batteries ran the wiring to all of them. Put the solar panel up by the neck. I believe he bought his from o'reilly's or autozone it was like a 100 bucks. Trailer is DOPE!! GOD BLESS!!

I hear you talk a lot in your other videos about eating healthy on the road. I highly recommend all drivers get a Hotlogic heated lunch box. They are super cheap and you can legit use this thing like a slow cooker and eat real healthy and good on the road! I use aluminum baking pans and throw in a meal during my lunch break then it's cooked and ready to go by dinner. It'll even cook meat so you can cook some chicken breasts and shread it for tacos or a small roast with some veggies. Anything you can make in a crocpot you can make so get creative and cleanup is easy using the disposable aluminum pans. 👌

Peace, i think SDX216 Diamond C is much better, you can loading a car into "deck on the neck" with ramp slide in. Also axle setup is 16K each. Also there's very nice setup lift axle, load weight measure on air system. Peace.
