Thanks for another great video! As others have said Chloe is the star of the show, as well as Cam’s cooking, awesome, and of course Tiff managing another dozen things! My memory of Python Pool, when we visited back in 2015, was the wheel bearing replacement that was required on the Tvan. Lasted until Norseman when it went again! Some great service in Norseman to replace the bearing and it managed to get us back to Canberra! The problem was a wheel alignment issue! Enjoy your travels, R and J
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a tool to log back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me
Why people give this a thumbs down?...maybe cam didn’t hold the camera still...or food wasn’t up to there takeaway standard. Our family loves you guys. Pump your stickers 4 sale more.. 👍
Another awesome few days for you guys. I mounted 2 Sirroco fans in my van this afternoon, and then this vid came through, so I laid down to watch it, while the cold rain fell on the windows and roof in this Victorian lockdown! Can't wait to be able to go away again!! P.S Happy Birthday. See you next week again.
another awesome video keep the style going these are so easy to watch...the bird is called a crested Pidgeon we have them all around the camp at work in Karratha.
Hang tough mate it looks like the numbers are getting better. I'm not locked down but the weather is so godawful that I have hardly left the house, so not much different really. Been looking forward to 4wd trips with family in Victoria for quite a while now, the last one got cancelled, so hopefully we can do it when the weather picks up later in the year.
I was confused, what does 30 degrees mean?...I mean, 12 I understand, but 30??? Clearly not in Victoria - probably one of those exotic foreign destinations...perhaps Western Australia...somewhere over the border somewhere...somewhere unreachable...sigh... All jokes aside, it is a good day for watching such videos and dreaming the impossible dream..for now!!
I've binge watched these first 5 episodes of your trip....what great vids and what a great family you are - y'all rock!! And - I'm learning a LOT! I'm planning on going on the road full-time next year, here in the US - I'm taking notes :)
Happy Birthday 🎉🎂 Great vid guys . Tiff I have a ryobi portable vac & just use hubbies drill batteries to run it . We are not far behind you guys and doing similar love being able to give the van a quick vac every few days . Loving Chloe s commentary she is so funny , she’ll want her own channel soon 😀
Love the videos, that pigeon I'v always called "Top Knot", but they're in the crested pigeon family, pretty good eating if your in a survival situation,
Happy birthday Cam out on the road living the dream what more could you ask for mate winning at life that’s for sure. Regarding the camp fires geeze people don’t use their brain and in the end it’s people who do that ruins it all for people who do the right thing. Stay safe Tiff and Cam all the best from freezing Vic. Cheers 🍻🍻
Great vid guy's looks like you are having a ball,Chloe is a champ an up and coming reporter I think, happy birthday mate I hope the girls looked after you.
Don't you just love dust. One little gap somewhere and it gets all over everything. never mind, you didn't do as badly as we did and left the back window on our Coaster OPEN! You should have seen the mess :) We have used mozzie coils for years but apparently the smoke isn't really any good for you. Still use them though... Cleaverville is our favourite campsite in Australia. Spent many happy months up there and caught a lot of fish.
Bloody awesome. Good on you for just doing it!! We have an 8yr old and 3yr old and are planning toget out and explore next year!! Chloe speaks very well, keep it up. A like and comment to build your channel 👍
Haha thats bloody gold mate. Glad to know my wife is not the only clean freak, I swear should would be doing that same cleaning the van and wouldn't be able to sleep or think about anything else until its done
Great video...this is my first time seeing your videos. We are currently in Karratha, so many waterholes to check out here, but I presume you are on a time frame. Happy travelling!

They just won't allow caravans in full stop. Don't really know why! Finished 8 nights on the Gibb a couple of days ago, really enjoyed it and had no dramas.
you gotta love kids when it comes to cooking. Cook something nice and I get in unison with my two “ I don’t like it, it taste weird. By the way keep up the good work great video.
Hi guys. Bit late I know but only just pick up your blog as we will soon be in market for hybrid like yours. Just a quick question on this vid, you said you lowered tyre pressures down to 30 - 35. What do you normally run them on black top or decent off roads? Loving what you’ve done so far.
Hey Cam. Tiff and Chloe. Just wondering what pots and pans u are using as u are using metal utensils in them. All my home ones have to be plastic so very curious to know what ur using and how they held up.
They were a set from Aldi, they’re some sort of cast aluminium I think. BCF/Annaconda sell the same ones separately, but it works out more expensive. www.bcf.com.au/p/campfire-frypan-with-detachable-handle-28cm/542647.html
@@WildTouring thanks for that. Aldi always has something going haha. Will have a look. Love ur videos. We leave for up up north on Thursday. Gone for nearly 3 weeks. Kinda bummed we won’t catch out there. My kids love watching Chloe lol.
great!...with the hybrid, has there been any days you wished you had the availability to use a stove cooktop inside?...been looking and deciding the pull out is great , but also one inside as well for those windy or rany days..bit different im sure over there in west...
We usually eat dinner quite early (5.30ish) as we’ve got the little one so bugs are never much of a issues whilst cooking but we have had a few issues with wind. Just means the food takes a little longer but I can’t say we’ve wished for an inside kitchen yet
thing is about the comment made about the 3 or so fire pits in the same area, if your going to cook food ideally you dont wanna cook in an existing fire pit, you dont know what the previous people have burnt in it and potentially poisoning your food
Wont be long a portable fire pit will be mandatory to use for a fire all over WA, empty the coals in the main communal pit. Especially with so many people hitting the road due to covid. Parks and wildlife wont take to kindly to 50 fire pits being used at camp grounds all over the place. A side note how is your "cheap canopy" and under tray tool boxes holding up. Do you get much dust ingress ect, considering the price you paid for them?
The canopy and tool boxes have seen better days! Most of the welds are cracked and the dust inside it is horrendous! But I suppose that’s what you get for a fraction of the price of the quality stuff
It's been brilliant. Was getting heaps of use before we left on our lap, but not much since we got the van. I broke a bracket early on, and was sent an updated replacement which now comes standard. It's been rock solid since! It is heavy though, so factor that in.
Hey Cam belated happy birthday mate. Where did you get that Emu Exmouth T-shirt been trying to find one online without success. Was it from a particular shop in Exmouth? Love the videos I’m living vicariously through you guys Cheers Andrew

Pretty sure he did a video on it a while ago with a hack to boot. Check it out...
It's a thermacell. Bunnings and most camp stores cell them. Refills can be pricey, but works better than anything else I've ever used.

one thing i need is model number of the washing machine im hoping to get one soon

Just a query, how big a fuel tank do you have on your D Max?

The washing machine is a companion ezywash single tub, was about $170 from a camping store in Perth. It’s 240v so we plug it in to the inverter in the car
Dumb question. How do you cook your rice so good? In the microwave? I always find rice a pain while camping. What’s your secret??? 👍
Yeah microwaving it on this trip, but same method applies on the stove. If you don't already, rinse it two or three times to get all the starches out (stops it getting sticky and gluggy), and then equal height of water above the rice (IE if there's two fingers of rice in your pot, pour water in until it's roughly two fingers above the rice, I don't measure anything 😂). 14mins in the microwave, or covered on the stove at a simmer until it's cooked 👌
Also using a sistema microwave rice cooker as the container which works well.
