A fresh library tour! I am delighted, diverted (from editing a video) and desperately hoping that you have finally got a safe pair of library ladders to tackle the towering heights of the bookshelves in your little bookroom.

I would love a hardcover, annotated Longfellow. I am reading Van Wyck Brook's "The Flowering of New England" and learning a great deal about Boston. It is a revelation for a Brit. I have other books by him zwaiting a read too. Wonderful. I am excited to see more of your bookshelves, having watched all your Penguin Classics videos over the holidays.

    The Sprite book looks wonderful.
I love animals and have rescued several orphaned babies: a goat, starlings, sparrows, song thrushes, and a duck.
All my babies, bar my duck, have gone now; either released to the wild or passed.

    Library tour!!
Was wondering about your book count, you’d mentioned you were counting in a previous video.
5,000 books!! Fantastic! If anyone should have that number of books in their library I think it should be you, Steve.

5,000 physical books, wow😳if electricity ever goes out, you'd have enough to read for awhile, 10,000 ebooks amazing, I think I've got that many ebooks also, I've enjoyed your nonfiction videos😍

Culd you please tell me how you made such a protective coating for a book? I can not find among your videos if there is a video where you show.

    H. G. Wells is a good read. I’ve read four of his books.
I gather the most well known?:
    The Time Machine
    The Island of Doctor Moreau
    The Invisible Man
    The War of the Worlds
I don’t know that I’ll read any others unless someone convinces me I should. Actually I’ve just recalled that I wanted to read his non-fiction Russia in the Shadows.

Haha! Whether or not you need iPod 6 is not up to you! It is up to your corporate overlords and whether or not they will make the old thing stop working! Haha!

What's your opinion of Eberhart's On Poems and Poets? I probably only heard of it from your channel, so I want to know whether it deserves immediate attention, or if I should go with Glynn Maxwell first instead?

Also is the Folio collection of Jeeves and Wooster complete,, or just a "besf of"?

I'd read the Glyn Maxwell first!

Love your shelf tour. Looking forward to it.
Can't remember if I already suggested this to you for tracking items:
CLZ Books is a great, cheap database program that allows you to track your books; visually organize them countless ways; adjust everything. I know you're a Mac guy so you already have an excellent program for Mac- and no I don't make any money from this- as a guy with a lot of books I really thought you should know about it.
Website's easy to find. It's supported & updated, works offline.

Hey Steve,Fascinating stuff .I stumbled across a Japanese term a few weeks ago when you were discussing the subject..Tsundoku:The collecting of books and not for reading purposes!..Yoikes!
