  • Jeff replaced the 650cc single carb 50hp engine with a 750cc dual carb 75hp engine and a larger impeller.

    pretty cool lil jet boat. looks like fun . you can launch any where , and it cruises pretty good.

    How hard was the upgrade? Direct bolt on?

    Very cool! Are stock parts still readily available for these boats or was this engine and other components exclusive to this boat? Also, what's the total weight of boat and trailer? I'm considering purchasing one locally but know nothing about them.

    I have a 92 jetmate all stock and my gps shows 31mph on calm flat water. I live in FL so it could be elevation..
