- Join Paul Dye as he flies the new SubSonex micro jet. When Kitplanes was given the opportunity to fly and review the Subsonex, we brought along Paul Bertorelli, our Editorial Director to capture the sights and sounds of the little jet for our readers. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed flying the airplane. Our full review will be found in the August issue of Kitplanes Magazine.
Paul Dye liked it so much he bought his own
It's performance is very close to the FLS Microjet! If you can afford the fuel bill it looks to be a great kit plane for the average builder to assemble.
l have experimented with 2 on-off toogle switches n used a raspberry pi 2b to record when the switches are being turned or off. My inspiration came from your clip. Program was written in python, pilot can examin when the switches are being operated.
nice video!
Love this thing, can just put it in the back of my pick em up truck and take it to the airport
I wonder how it would go with two more of those engines.
Make a B-36 out of it?
It would go not very long, probably down to 1/2 hr usable flight time with 3 engines.
130,000 bucks? What ? Im' gone...
Bye.
Doesn't it need quite a bit of 'nose up' trim to counter the high engine mounting?
It just seems like it must want to do a bunt all the time when it's giving any decent power...
Why not simply have the more usual tail fitment and push the Cof G more directly?
Complex cause it's got retractable Ldg gear? Sheeez!
Well ya sure can't change the angles of the blades!
