      *Correction - he Born a Legend, Some people like had to Learn through 9 years of singing, today I can say I'm very good but Bruce here in 1981 he was only 23 y.o and Jesus Christ he sung like a God, I'm not even to talking about his high Chest Voice range cause I can hit that D#5 in chest voice too and that alone doesn't make anyone a Good or God Singer like Bruce.

      @m42037 3 года назад +6

      @@goldsaj I do! I'm not a great drummer but I do hit the skins too hard 😆 I started in 1984, quit for 7 years when we went broke then picked them up again about two years ago, it's a cheap kit but we know how to make a Taiwan Ludwig set sound ok with good heads and tuning 🥁 Oh yes Sampson I think these guys are pretty good. I got here reading the truth why Clive Burr left Iron Maiden. Steve Harris asked him to leave because he was away from the band a while because his father died, Steve was a real a$$hole back in the old days. Clive was amazing, even Bruce said he was the best drummer maiden ever had and wasn't happy with the the way it went down when he was asked to leave Maiden

    Great footage! Loved this band for so many years now. The song 'Gravy Train' (which, it would seem, morphed into 'I'll Be Round' from the 'Before The Storm' album, a year later) sounds fucking phenomenal here! I mean, just try listening to it without moving your feet, or your head. So 'bouncy' and so catchy! Paul was one of the worlds most underrated blues rock/metal guitarists, which is a crying shame. He was so talented, and had such a good ear for a really catchy hook line! We miss both him & Chris Aylmer! RIP Guys... \m/

    I remember when i fist became a Maiden fan the samson stuff was hard to find. I had to order head on, shock tactics, and survivors as imports for a heavy price. There was a company in Wisconsin called Ram Music which is where i bought the stuff. This is a good addition the Dickinson Anthology DVD which also has the biceps of steel video. I like it when he says, "Get rid of that F-bleeping mess (50:00)." I rate Maiden, Diamond Head, Samson, and Angel Witch as the four best bands from the NWOHM. I know Saxon and Leppard fans will disagree.
    I believe this ranks among the best Dickinson vocal performances. I also like Beast over Hammersmith onin which he does a killer rendition of Hallowed be thy name. Samson was offered a deal from A&M and RCA for over $500,000 pounds per piece- just one week after this show, but Bruce already had made the decision to join maiden. This is per the linear notes of the remastered Live at Reading 81 CD. I can't blame him for leaving Samson, but some will remember that Adrian Smith had a chance to join Maiden earlier but remained loyal to his hand Urchin.

    The show wacthed and checked by Steve Harris,and then,Bruce was kidnapped.One Japanese silly journalist was asked by Steve and what he thought about Dickison.His answer was negative as he did not think Bruce looked nicer(yeah,very silly and non-logical reason).He was totally wrong and Bruce is still in the band.That journalist has been on top of the Metal journalist in Japan and definitely he is the 1st class criminal who made the scene moving lower.Dickinson must remeber this and he still hates him named Masa Itoh.
