Dogs are all like: "I've always wanted a pet human."
Haha I had a similar ongoing joke I always said about my late german sheppard / labrador, that he was so spoiled we even bought him some pet monkeys to play with (the kids.) The kids always scoffed about the joke but still laughed.

the dog: *gasp* for meeeeee?! :)

Dog: *smells baby* "I've only known the new tiny human for 30 seconds, and if anything happens to tiny human, I will chew on everything here and then myself."
chewality!
And wag their tail

Is that... is that a Rosa Diaz reference?
@@tristanflynn4014 Fuck yeah
My family had a rescue dog, Rodger, poor boy was abused and hated men, the smell of alcohol and cigarettes, and was aggressive. He went from this to extremely gentle and protective when he met me as a baby. When I got older I would climb over him and all sorts and he never so much as growled. RIP Rodger
He's in a good place now
aw you made me cry. Rodger is the best.
Jessica Ann Helm Rodger is looking after you and always loves you
It is like with unicorns- only virgins can do this shit. Everyone else needs stittches... But honestly- dogs are pack animals, then know that puppies are weaker and small, so there is much bigger tolerance threshold, than with adults...
To this day i am told, that my grandma`s dog would keep watch over me in the stroller, when she was in the shop.
Someone approaches
- Oh, look. A baby.
Dog comes out from under the stroller
- Oh, look. A dead meat...
Rodger didn’t die he just went to go make the kids in Heaven happy
Dogs really don't get enough credit, they can sense that it's a baby and instinctively know to be gentle and careful, much love for dogs and cats for that matter
i find it really interesting and kind of funny how dogs instinctively know to be gentle with not only babies, but things like eggs and balloons, but at the same time most medium-big dogs think they're lap dogs and will knock you over lol
Dogs love baby people the same way we love puppies, and for the same reasons: small, fluffy, soft, helpless, innocent.
Absolutely right.
Ikr. My dog who is usually a bitch loves kids
Not all dogs. My 3 year old female does..but my 4 year old male still tries to jump on toddlers and rough house. Not trying to hurt them, but will if I let him keep doing it.
It's so cool the way instinctively all dogs go right to babies noses to smell if they have the breath of life, a living being.
Zero Cool lol
That’s a biblical way to put it
savage. Lmfao
You make that sound like a religious belief
That's some what true a dog will smell their breath to see if they can detect any illness as it's the same thing a mother dog does with her pup
Dog with new baby: Hello hooman! I will always protect you! Welcome to the family! I love you!
Cat with new baby: kneel...
So true lmao
Cats are indirectly loki😂😂
not true. im more a dog person and i would disagree😁
hahaha. Jaa genau.
Cat didn't give a S..T, It just wanted a pillow 🤣
No breed has a more expressive face than a Golden when it's happy.
Sherry H. That’s one gentle and happy golden!
Sherry H. I have a Siberian husky mix and she has the goofiest expressions when she’s confused and excited. No doubt Golden’s are the best smilers tho
I have a golden. Nd she is super cute nd smiles a lot 😊. She’s like my sister
That's not smiling, that is stress!
He or she was so proud
Imagine ur a fresh born baby u were sleeping the whole time until u arrive home just to wake up to a snout in ur face hahaha
and being slobbered on lol
"wtf why is my mom so weird"
These babies are going to have the best adoptive brothers and sisters.
Samantha Powell and allergies
Interesting is that no one forced you to call dogs your children. May be reincarnation crowd is right and you will turn dogs in next life or treated as dogs in present
@@Linachka718 nope. The younger they are exposed....no allergies.
JD I heard otherwise. When my nephew was infant there was a cat in his house and he developed severe allergy. My neice grewup without animals in the house and she has no allergies. Better keep animals away from newborns.
@@Linachka718 I had a cat when my daughter was a newborn. Still have him. No allergies. But we did get allergies from a new cat we had. Within 2 weeks our allergies were gone. If I go to someone else's house with a cat...I get allergies from their cat. It's strange
I love how cats see babies and they’re like “:// idk about this one man” and then dogs see babies and they’re immediately like “I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOV-“
Depends on the cat breed. Ragamuffins and Ragdolls are better around kids for example
I just saw a cat reaction video. Only one cat seemed to recognize that this was a Baby and should be groomed. The rest were either "What...?" or "NOPENOPENOPENOPE."
Also depends on the cat personality. My Siamese cat was a year old when I was born, and apparently she fell in love with me before I was even born - she was inseparable from me for thw 13 more years we spent together 💗
Dogs be like: “Why is this human so small unlike my master?”
“But I shall love and protect this hooman at all costs. Because he smells like mom and dad. He may pull on my ears and tails and it’s very irritating, but I love this little hooman.”
HawkeyeNextGen master? Let’s not with the slavery (: human parent.
Big Kunta no(:
When I was brought home, my parents were scared because we had Rottweilers and they didn't know how they we react. Apparently they were super gentle and VERY protective over me, as in my dad barely opened the door to my room and was met with a snarling growl. They passed away almost 9 years or so ago and it was really hard but they passed due to old age. Dogs are very loyal to babies it seems.
Manofjelly5 ל
Manofjelly5 my mom told me something similar about when I was a baby and she had to live with my grandmother. Apparently my grandmothers poodle decided the only one allowed to hold me was my grandmother. 😂
ummm how is that a good thing? so ur dad couldnt get close to you?

Something similar happened when I was born. When my parents brought me home they had 3 black labs and a cat and all of them slept on the bed together with my parents so they were worried for a while to have me on the bed with them but they were so protective over me. The cat would offer curl around my head almost like a hat and I'd have all 3 dogs around me and watching me and if I rolled to far over they'd nudge me so I would get on my back again to ensure I didnt move and hurt myself. The last of the four, one of the dogs, passed away 10 years ago, when I was 9. I miss them all so much still
2:07 it’s incredible the caring instinct, how immediately the dog tries to cover with the blanket the baby, the puppy knows he-she is a “puppy” that needs protection, truly amazing.
I've noticed that it's mostly toy dogs that cover infants. This is most likely projecting but I suspect it's them knowing they cannot protect the infant doggo-a-doggo, so hiding is their best tactic.
I agree!!! And if not covering to protect and hide the baby, smaller dogs get colder quicker and need to retain heat and pup knows small human needs warmth
2:14 🤣 "must cover this hairless creature"
2:12 " I must cover the potato!"
Kelsea T 😂😂😂
Lols
Kelsea T Take it back! Take it back already! 🤣😂
Nesting instinct at play. A wolf might do this to a puppy with leaves or grass to protect it from the elements
When ever I have my lizard out my dog does this to him cause she knows he's my "baby" and likes to try to nest him. Drives my bluetongue insane lol.
Lyla covering up the baby was so precious!! One thing I love about these is everyone says to the dogs " this is your new baby brother , or sister". It's very sweet
Are all dogs like this?!? Makes me really want a dog just before having children so that they grow up together. Just so adorable!!!
Praneet Naik not all dogs. For a dog to behave like this they need to be apart of the family. Lowest down in the 'pact'. Pacts being the owners as the leaders, children or babies second and the dogs always last. This may sound harsh but dogs love being obedient to a strong leader. If they have a strong leader (its owner) then they will likely treat the new baby with this kind of affection seeing it as a new part of its pact... the only way to achieve this is if the owners own the dog for a fair time and the owner has taught the dog its place in the pact.. if you would like to learn how to train a dog that way you can look up plenty of helpfully training guides online. X
Thanks Eden Skye! Im only 21 so I wont be having a kid until a lot later and hopefully a dog in the future so I was just curious. I just think that having a dog and a baby together is just awesome in a family so I was just thinking about it. Thanks so much! Do you have a dog too and if so what kind?
Golden Retriver will be your safest choice..
Eden Skye * pack
PACT is an agreement
Praneet Naik No! No! No! Not All dogs. You will have to be very careful in what kind of dog you intend to get. You can't just decide to get a dog right before you pop out a kid! That is asking for trouble and heartache.
If you adopt a dog from the SPCA, most times you have no idea what their background was like, what issues they have, what their personalities are like. You have to build a relationship with them to figure it out.
We adopted 3 of our 4 from the SPCA. Knew nothing about their backgrounds.
Milton, for ex, would go insane, to the point of even biting us, every single time a dog was in his vicinity. We'd be taking a walk, about to pass others walking their own dogs, and Milton would act like he was going to rip the other dog to shreds! Even though he was 11 pounds. And he had some sort of issue with males, even with my husband at the beginning. He bit 2 guys who lived in our neighborhood, was known as Killer from then on.
Took many years for him to stop that shit. And it wasn't easy!
But! I think if you got a puppy, a year old or less, completely different story. Easier to train it, easier for the pup to form a bond with a baby.
Our German Shepherd "Hunter" thought that our granddaughter belonged to him. From the time he met her when she was 3 months old, they were besties. He taught her how to crawl, go up and down the stairs and he also blocked her from going into the bathrooms & laundry room. He was so very protective and they loved each other beyond words. All babies should be blessed to grow up with a dog; it teaches friendship and further unconditional love.
3:37 "My humans did so well!"
😂😂
I didn't have to go on time stamp I knew what you ment.
A proud brother / sister :D
😁😁
Indeed after all the demonstration I did with their legs, pillow and Infront of the yard
3:13 is the best one ever. Makes my heart melt when the golden retriever gets so happy after seeing the baby. Aww
The two reactions are either
“Aww.. small and cute, must protect”
and
“What in the hell is that?”
Female Vs male dogs lmao
i love how excited dogs get when they meet babies. they're like "wow!!! look at that tiny human!!! congratulations, humans!!! i have decided i would die for this little human :)"
When I was born my family set me down on the floor to meet our big German Shepherd. I’m told he was very gentle and he immediately curled up around me (we still have pictures of it framed). Not surprising given how intelligent and protective German Shepherds are. He lived a long life and was always very loving with me and later my younger sister as well.
Sarf when I was a baby by dad used to lay me down with our german shepherds (who was a trained police dog) he wouldn’t let anyone but my dad pick me up again. He’d growl at anyone else.
I was five when he died. Saddest day of my life...
It's a surprise for the dogs like this
Human:OMG IT PUPPY
Dog:OMG ITS A HoOmAn BABY!!!
Wonder if dogs call human babies Huppies?
@@haddenb4261 well we don't call dog babies doppies, so i guess not hahah

"Hello new Dearest Human. From this moment forward I will unconditionally love and obey you. I will heed your every command and play whenever you wish. I will protect you from any and all threats to your safety and well being. I am your faithful companion and new best friend. I am your Dog."
Iron Dragon 1990 “unless you piss me off, then I’m stealing your socks.”

It’s so amaizing how gentle they are, it’s like they know how fragile babies are 💖
4:00 the doggo is like: "Woman! We need blankies, stat! Smol hooman needs blankies and kisses"
Madelindy Jay " stat". 👩⚕️👍😎
Roubou
Love it that animals recognize that they need to be gentle from the beginning.
3:35 big smile after the 3rd sniff of approval. Precious moments... dogs are amazing!
1:00 that is so cute
I love you
Dog: *"My precious"*
The puppy is petting the baby💘
They all want to meet the new "puppy" and file their scent in their brains!!
I like 0:45 "ok now I'll smell you.. .ah forget that, I want to smell the new guy!"
Dog cuddling baby: "You may be only a month old, but I've already claimed you as mah best bud and someone to protect 4evah."
Golden retriever is like "I'm so proud of you guys"
I love that while the dogs are curious and obviously excited, they seem to instinctively be gentle with the babies
0:50 Dog: I love him already. Can we keep him?
Love how dogs are like "NEW PACKMATE?! I LOVE THEM!!"
I love the excitement they have for us, as if to say, " congratulations masters !!" I give my approval !"
2:13 dog says- mmmm no, no baby here.
Chicks Dip Too Lolololololololol
mmm... no... mr. baby no es here.

This should be:
"A baby meeting another baby for the first time"
💗💗
I’m all for raising kids (even infants) with pets. But be smart, guys. Don’t just hope for the best, work with your pet and prep them. Try the book “Good Dog, Happy Baby” or “Tell Your Dog You’re Pregnant”. There is even a cat version of the latter book. I got all three and am working with my pets every day, we have five more months to get them ready before my own bundle of joy comes home.
Pets are great, part of our family for sure, but remember they’re animals and have instincts that we don’t. They don’t like sudden change. The sudden arrival of baby products and then a baby is highly stressful. They might not be aggressive to baby but that stress isn’t good for them. It can negatively affect their health. Cats can suddenly regress when it comes to litter training, they can become more prone to UTIs, they can have spontaneous shedding or overgrooming issues - leading to bald patches.
And if they’re stressed, they’re more likely to act unpredictability. And an unpredictable, stressed animal can become aggressive, even when they’re not usually. It only takes a moment.
Kelly's Corner Now that you’ve had your baby, I bet you realise you were overthinking here 😂😂
Good advice. I guess it pays to know a dogs personality as well. Im 45 . Ive been around animals my entire life. I was bought up around dogs cats and farm animals . As a six year old id be walk in the milking shed in amongst 50 or so dairy cattle. I am the very proud and loving owner of a Rottweiler these days and before getting her i was told that they were a danger around small children. Well after 10 years of happy days with my beautiful Rottweiler i can attest that as being the biggest load of bullshit ive ever heard. She is the most laid back gentle natured sweetheart of a dog that you would ever meet. Ive seen her throw her body under a toddler as he was falling as to break the fall. Ive seen her gently nudge other animals away from babies because she wanted to protect the kids. I think the most important thing is to really be honest with yourself about the nature of your dog. Ive definitely owned dogs that i would not let around small children and often our small terriers have been the least trustworthy. If your going to have any dog around kids make sure they understand the pecking order but also dont be afraid to shower them with love and gentle natured discipline. Not punishment but consistent training.
Yeah that's why I'm going to wait for my kids to be a little older so the dog will be raise knowing kids.
M
flag 91 we’re having a huge problem with that. The dog does not have the personality for kids, which we didn’t know since we got him at 4 days old. He is amazing with adults, but with kids? Terrible. Protective but way too rough.
This just makes me love the bond between human and dogs so much more. Theres so much trust and love involved with letting your puppy meet your child. This is what the internet needs in 2020!!
Can't wait for my dog to meet my child. My dog is a pit pug mix, brindle beautiful girl. She's been my best friend and therapy dog for 2 years now, and moved 2,000 miles with me for a better life. She's already loving on my stomach, so I can only imagine how she will be when the baby is actually here. ❤
Lady Syberia Does the baby ever kick her? My then-unborn niece did that to one of my dogs once, and the dog stared at my sister’s stomach. 😆
Erin Miller not far along enough yet. Just about to hit the four month mark. That would be funny!
ELSA.FOZIN.
Say, how did the meeting go after all?
Congratulations! How's it going now??Hope your baby and dog are healthy and happy and so are you
Nice to see how protective dogs are towards babies and toddlers.
The dogs and these babies are gonna be friends for life.
If you think this is cute, just remember, humans have introduced puppers to their smol ones like this for thousands of years. :)
We have taken care of doggo babies and they have taken care of human babies.
Coevolution is neat.
Wish I wasn’t terrified of dogs, they seem very protective
Don't be...they are what we make of them. Kind is kind. No need to fear.
Мне очень понравилось, как знакомят собачек с новорожденными детками. Захватывает видео. Очень правильный подход.
When the Golden hears “This is your baby sister!” and looks so very proud!
My parent’s first dog was very protective of me.
Whenever I’d leave my bedroom door open, she’d be there on the floor.
When I had to have surgery, and stayed at the hospital, my dad said she’d stare at the door, waiting for me to come home.
She passed away years ago due to a cancerous tumor on her stomach.
She was the best dog ever
R.I.P Casey, I miss you every day.
I don't think that there r any dogs that don't like human babies but there sure r humans that don't like human babies.
Amazing how the world works
The Legend of the truck. Hu
The Legend true
Especially war proponents
Because dogs don't have to face the stress and anxiety of raising human babies. Because dogs know that these babies when they grow up will not have expectations from them and won't hurt them with their abusive words or cheat them. But even dogs get scared if they are physically abused by humans and get hurt when they are abandoned by their owners...even dogs have difficulty trusting humans after getting ill-treated by humans. Remember human brain is more developed than a dog's brain...that's why some people are deep thinkers and know that relationship with other humans are not always smooth sailing...that's why many people don't like human babies.! Some people commit suicide because of other people in their lives, but dogs don't.
Yeah, that is why children never get bitten ... oh wait, 3 out of 4 dog attacks are with children.
My big sis was a German Sheppard mix, roughly 30kg.
She was so patient and gentle, even when I used her fur to pull myself up as I learned to stand on my own.
One day my ma was at the market and an elderly woman, whom my family never met before tried to reach for my head going all "aww you cute baby!"
Oooh my big sis moved so fast... She did not bite her but that woman got lost pretty quickly xD
My heart's melting, such good family dogs 😍 I wish I had footage of me as a baby. My parents had a 6-months French poodle puppy when I was born. We grew up like twins ♥️ not a single childhood memory without her. Our pets are pure gold. They bring so much love and joy wherever they go 🥰
The Golden Retriever is the most careful and gentle, a family dog definitely!!!! The little pal at 1:00 is also cute
They protec
They attacc
But most importantly
They will never leave these babies sides until the day they die.
its supposed to rhyme but ok
Lovely. My heart melts. Dogs know that is somebody important.
Baby with dog are the cutest thing ever dogs love being friends with baby they will never leave the baby no matter what how cute is this 😀😁😃😍☺🙂🤞🏼💘❤💓💕💖💗💙💚💛💜💝💞💟👶🏼🐕
Dogs thinking: OoOoOh A MAN CUB
sweet sweet and more sweet. amazing how gentle the dogs are with babies 💓💓💓
Nobody will read this probably but we had a big Rottweiler when I was a baby. Thing was so gentle and sweet but very protective when they felt there was danger. She used to spend all her time in my room, and would constantly hop on her hind legs to look into the crib. Every now and again she would drop toys or her treats inside and whine if I didn’t pick them up. Never once was growled at by her for her entire life, despite me being a real pain in the ass as a kid. Miss her so much, she was such an angel. I’m glad I have a picture of her looking in my crib still. I just wish I had been present when/before she passed.
I think EVERYBODY loves watching videos of newborn babies and dogs meeting for the fist time. It's impossible not to like it...
There are stars, there is earth, there is life and death phenomenons as we know them.. and then there is a different phenomenon called “a dog” I live for them!!!❤️🙂😘

Awww the dog is cuddling the baby!
Growing up with a dog makes you see them as your sibling, honestly. I miss you, Benjamin.
As a single father you just broke my emotions 😭
Golden retrievers have the best reaction 😍 With a big love to babies
dogs are so beautiful and gentle. They deserve all the love that they give to us humans, even the smallest most vulnerable human they want to protect
I just can't stop watching how lucky babies deserve loyalty by dogs. ❤
Just pure love.
I remember my mom told me when she brought home my older sister my boxers became protective of us and all was sleeped by our cribs
Really love that doggie sleeping beside the baby and patting on his chest.
These dogs are happy to meet their baby brother or sister how sweet
All dogs: Hello there little human! why are you so small?? My own pocket version of my human master 😍😍😍
THEY GET SO HAPPY IT'S SO CUTE
That is one of the most sweetest scene, i have ever seen in my life!
All the dogs encountering babies bundled up in blankets or locked into a carrier were like- "human, get this baby out this devil device! It needs love and warmth" or "human why are you showing me this trapped baby? Not cool, bro"
So gentle with the little bubs. Magical.
The two best creations of life - babies and dogs. beautiful video, thank you for sharing!
The dogs that cuddle with the babies are best friends for life.
It’s really beautiful bc dogs sense of smell is amazing. Dog is like “oh a tiny human that smells like BOTH of my fav humans, mom and dad.”
the dog at 0:58 is like 'this is my baby now'
00:45 The dog is going to the dad like "Nice job, brah."
The puppy's motherhood is amazing!🐶🐕🐩
The first time we had a two-year-old foster child stay with us, my dog ran up to her to jump on her and then hit the breaks two feet from her, realizing there was nothing to jump on. It was like she was thinking, “Wait, they come in that size?!”

*That’s me after running in the Gym for 37 minutes*
Lol, when I was first born, my mothers sharpei put my head in her mouth and tried to chomp down on my neck. She continued to try to eat me until they put her down. Not every doggo is this happy. RIP to Squasha. Who wanted me to RIP the day I came out of the womb lol.
I ❤️ when dogs cover babies with blankets and give gentle kisses! So sweet! 🐾❤️🐾
It amazes me how gentle and tolerant dogs are with babies
pittbulls used to be called nanny dogs
No dog breed was ever referred to as a nanny dog. That pitbull/nanny dog thing was a myth started by breed proponents in the 1970s. All of the official groups now admit this was never historically accurate. And that makes sense, who would let any dog act as a nanny to their child, seriously?
Val O'Brien
On a recent test done on most popular dog breeds, Pitbulls scored the second lowest after the Labrador for their level of aggression. The only thing portraying them as aggressive is their power, and how dumb people get them as guard dogs and train them to be vicious.
Batman A
If you're gonna insult someone's intelligence over the internet, you should stay mindful of your grammar. In other words, don't call someone dumb if you're gonna spell like you're dumb.
Batman A lol k
I used to think pit bulls were like this, then actually met some pit bulls that were the sweetest. Also saw a video of a pit bull and her puppies being rescued and she was being so cooperative the whole time. Goes to show how without any training, pit bulls are nice dogs it’s just when assholes use them to train and be dicks that they are mean
Honestly I'd make sure your baby isn't allergic to dogs before you let it lick its face...
But this is cute.
exactly how do you make sure a newborn doesn't have any allergies lol. their immune system hasn't been exposed to potential allergens yet.
Lmao
The dogs :lol you guys got me a little human !!!!!!!!!😃😃😃😃
I wonder if it's a smell thing that helps dogs and cats adjust to babies - "This little one is clearly family, they've got the right scent!"
