Why didn't you just restart the engine? There's a great tutorial on how to do an inflight restart by the Grim Reapers. Hi Cap. The IAF in the Six Day War use the Mirage IIIC. They built the Nesher (base on Mirage V). In the Yom Kippur use Douglas A-4 Skyhawk, McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II, Dassault Mirage III, Dassault Super Mystère, IAI Nesher. From there, never use buy Mirage. All US planes

The R-13M1s the Migs use are a copy of the AIM-9J/P and do not belong to the 1967 time frame . The only A-A missiles the Syrians had at that time were the R-3S . Which it self is a copy of the AIM-9B/GAR-8 you use on the F-1 and F-5 . Anyway great campaign I enjoy it a lot .
Absolutely right sir, those are the tricky considerations and the curse of the mission maker. However, since the mirage f1 is a 70s plane and is superior to the mig-21, I thought I’d give the migs a slightly better missile. Still, it is not a good missile and the range is rubbish! Lol

Cold War is best war. Close-in, knife-in-the-teeth dogfights where BFM skills are mandatory, unguided rockets & bombs to see who knows how to fly a ground attack profile... way more fun to watch than AMRAAM's & PGM's.
Not done with the fairground organ music yet. Found one that is tuned in meantone and plays Weber's Oberon overture in historically correct tempo (allegro con fuoco = 108). Whoever made the arrangement knew how to abuse the leftover harmonic sevenths as well and the result sounds glorious. Chopsticks' performance was not in line with the music this time either but for a different reason.
Cap! I have an idea for a test: Y’all have proven that S-400 is essentially useless against low flying slow planes like the Su-25 toadfeet and A-10 Wünderhog,while taking out what they’re protecting. But what about a dedicated anti S-400 attack using dangerclose noodles and an attack helicopter backup? The greatest danger to the medium-movers is small thermal bois, what if it thermal-chads progressed in stages to bait the loads, while the B-team snuck in to shoot their shot at the pre-mature guys, till there was nothing left of the Post-Soviet breakups GDP?
Cap, we need to see which of all the jets can successfully be crash landed with gear up. I would suggest a medium density surface to test on, maybe a nice piece of desert?
For the next round you should have CSAR helicopters able to capture downed enemy pilots as well, and then they won't be able to respond the rest of the game.
Definitely think y'alls respawn rules should be adjusted. Not really sure its particularly fair or realistic cap can jump back in after that landing/ ejection drowning he just suffered. Think he might have died several times there
You should try to redo the "Planet Earth vs The Universe" video with modern weaponry and technologies *IF YOU GET THE CHANCE* I understand server issues, timing with other Grim Reapers and issues with mod compatibility and such are prevalent but, if you get the chance it'd be nice to see

Hmm, Cap was actually dead due to ejecting and landing in the lake. You can see his downed plane, but no pilot as Matrix lands. As such by the rules he couldn't have been rescued. This caused much comment in the red team at the time. At least I dug myself a proper grave in my Mossie to avoid any possible confusion.
There is precedent for the blue team to have a faster chopper than the Huey. In 67’ the IDF operated Sea Kings. I don’t see why the Mi-8 can’t be subbed for Seaking. Game master didn’t research this very well, and handicapped blue team in the process.
