    It really made an impact when he said, "my daughter was exactly where she was supposed to be!" He was right. We send our kids to school because we have to. It's what you do, but we should all be able to have the confidence that they are safe. I work in a school district, we are not safe. Parents need to ask the tough questions to their school boards and administrators about safety in the buildings, where the cameras are located and every parent needs to be okay with consequences for bad behavior. Nothing bad happens, till it does. Dont let it happen in your schools. Keep your district accountable for the safety and security of the students. This amazing father is filled with hurt, anger and rage. I pray he can somehow find some peace. He didn't deserve this.

    • @jloubrooke2023
      @jloubrooke2023 Год назад

      @@friedtofufan never said schools should be armed. As far as gun control, you can use many many things as a weapon. When I was in HS a kid put a pipe bomb in his bully's locker. It was terrifying. He blew the kids fingers off. Kids are violent at school because that is where they are being bullied and discriminated against. As a society we need to restructure what we are doing with these kids all day and it can't be just babysitting them. There is no consequences for bullying, so kids take it into their own hands. Quiet kids get overlooked. So much is required for faculty and staff in a day that there is zero time to connect personally to students. Parents make excuses for their kids bad behavior as well. Why does it always have to be a law to fix things? If so then how about a law that pays a parent to stay home with their kid? Maybe we need to focus on better parenting and prevention. Like preventing the child from growing up to be evil, not preventing the evil child from getting their hands on a gun. (Legally) because they will get their hands on something to use as a weapon and it might be worse then a gun.

They need to know and get a sense of the trauma and impact this senselessness had on this poor family. No parent should ever have to bare the loss of a child and endure a burial. @@riekebusch2293 The issue here is quite complex. It's not just guns. Americans have had access to these guns for quite some time. The problem is way deeper than that. Why are there way more mass shootings now than 30 years ago when Americans still had access to these guns back then? Anyone that commits a mass shooting is mentally deranged. Something is increasing mental illness. I believe that the pandemic and social media is playing a huge role in people having more mental illness, especially depression and anxiety, narcissism, etc. Deranged people hear about the latest mass shooting, and then they want to top it off by killing more people. A lot of them post on social media. It's like a domino effect. I think that social media is causing a huge portion of it. Even if these guns were banned, people could still just build them if they wanted to. We need to get at the root of the problem, deranged people, and making sure that they don't get access to weapons. Even that's not a simple solution. Some parents let their kids have access to the weapons. My point in this is that banning guns alone isn't going to solve all this. The issue is way deeper than that. Personally, I don't own any guns, but I live in an extremely low crime area, far from any city. So, I don't really need to protect myself.

    I can’t begin to sit here and imagine what these people have went through and are continuing to go through, and I know this testimony is somewhat cathartic…but PISS on this waste of space that did this. I think he’s absolutely elated that he smashed all these families to pieces. I think it’s almost rewarding to him to be able to sit there and have the victims actually come to him and tell him how good of a job he did. I think all law enforcement should just leave the room for about 10 minutes and leave him with the families.

    This hurt my heart and I’m glad they are getting to tell their side! I don’t ever want to imagine. I pray these families find some comfort. These children had so much life to live and some crazy kid took it in a horrible way. The coaches had families at home and this animal didn’t care. Part of me wants this kid to sit in a tiny cell and look at a wall, but then we pay for him to live, something the 17 can’t do anymore
