- Damage and Physics comparison between gta v crash tests and BeamNG Drive. I hope you guys like this.
gta v crashes were compared to BeamNG.Drive crashes and results are pretty good. Crashes were not exactly same but pretty close. Of course it was also hard for me to replicate crashes exactly the same. So some deviation in BeamNG.Drive could also be caused by my inaccuracy.

I agree BeamNG physics are best I’ve seen but it’s always funny how the car is realistically mangled with factory perfect paint

Game isn’t even close to being finished. Maybe after all the vehicles get a refresh (and maybe the maps as well), THEN they’ll add scratches, dust etc. Maybe.

Love how the only thing that happened in GTA is the windows break
there are some things I do wish beam did better (like dirt etc when driving off road ) but they are still working on beam and seem to be addressing the "to do" list so honestly I think they will get there!

Yes but not the driving. Gta4 driving is very unrealistic
We need heavier cars in gta6 because in gta5 they're too light. You can make a car fly with a granade. I also hate this "arcade ragdoll" where you can control vehicles in midair. The damages are ridicolous. They're made of adamantium. Even in gtaSA cars were more destructible. Gta4 physics is exaggerated but at least is kinda realistic. Except for the driving.

GTA 5 years later: INTRODUCING REAL LIFE GTA
The ideal game would be a gta with beamng physics in the story and then regular gta physics in online
GTA doesn't follow real crash physics but beamng does and its so satisfying
There was a change on the soft body physics of the 8th gen/PC release of GTAV where they nerfed soft body physics because of the inclusion of First Person mode. I wonder what the legacy version would look like.
Nah that’s been there from the beginning. It makes whatever car you driving more resistant to damage and all the NPCs damage easier.

Even if it had.. Imagine you are doing high speed chase mission and your car rams into another car and you have to again complete your mission it will be really annoying..... Anyways thanks for watching😃

Gta 4 was exactly that, the cars on that game had pretty advanced deformation physics for a 2007 game, most people swapped their cars constantly during their first hours of gameplay because of how realistically fragile the vehicles were, i was actually very disappointed when i noticed the downgraded damage physics on five.
But i can totally understand why they did it, 4's physics wouldn't have worked on five due to the game's fast paced nature and how often you inevitably crash your vehicles, i just hope they manage to balance that out on six.

Compare it with GTA 4 not with GTA 5 because They don't focused on physics they just focused how much fun will you get in these physics

Beamng is more of a physics simulation than a driving game
beamng.drive its in the name its a driving game but yeah the physics are the selling point along with the driving physics thanks to the recent updates
Neither is GTA. BeamNG is one of the best driving games around.
You should do it again but use the mod in GTA so you can adjust the damage and turn the sensitivity all the way up. That will get GTA closer but still not the same obviously

gta5 actually had great softbody physics before they patched it out :/ (not as cool as gta vi but yea) dont even know why .. probably because people in online could trash your car too much or what, idk

Just imagine GTA V to have BeamNG physics. You just tuned your car, and it's done when you hit the first stop sign.
If you watch GTA5 carefully driving with a low car, you see how much it holds your hand letting your bumpers clip through sidewalks and stuff. Just leaving LSC you’d rip both your bumpers off in most cars.

GTA5 cars: yeah our chassis is made out of tungsten and carbon steel, all car 5 star safety ratings, even without air bags!
Beamng: watch our chassis crumple in realism while it's satisfying to u people but not us cuz every time I get hit feels like he'll!

If you look at the thumbnail, you’ll see less shiner graphics on BeamNG. More realistic because it has less extreme graphics
The better a game graphics are, the more the unrealistic things will shine through. For example a missing texture will stick out a hell of a lot more in RDR2 than it would in say Minecraft.
You should do the same but with gta 4 if you haven’t since cars gets deformed more than gta 5’s
