To be fair for the past few seasons we have tended to sign players quite early in the the transfer window. So I don't think it's a problem we have suffered from. The problem has been how many injuries we've had and the signing of players who are constantly injured. As well as signing too many mediocre players, of course.
Yeah, but I honestly think signing former wonderkids which didn’t quite work out yet is the way to go for our club in its current situation and uefa ranking remember we are ranked 25th in Europe while Celtic for all the nonsense that is talked about them in Scotland are ranked 59th in Europe by uefa so Rangers are are just outside the top 24 which is what you need to be in to qualify for next season’s new format Champions League which again I here a lot of nonsense from Celtic supporters saying it will be worth £60 million the most a Scottish club will make is £40 million unless they qualify by getting into the top 24 in the new league format then get through the round of 32 and into the round of 16 but honestly can’t see that happening 🇬🇧🇬🇧

Bringing him in early is a good bit of business, especially when we had a bit of extra time to monitor him and still see him as the right fit when there were obstacles in January. We really need to get the rebuild right this time.

Thank you for all the awesome content over the years. If Ridvan was fit he'd be great but getting more consistant players with less injuries is what we need. I still have concerns that Goldson will con his way into the plans and hope he's moved on as he's cost us when we really needed him to be solid. No malice again him as a player but if we want the team to improve adding players like Jefte and all is what we've needed.

Hopefully somebody has told these boys about the weather, sounds silly but can genuinely be a factor on how players settle. Definitely think it’s been a factor for previous South Americans.

Clement won't be making the signing's, which is good as it's a mistake we've made too often in the past. He needs to focus on coaching the team and let other people do the scouting.
Clement doesn't sign his own players. Thats a myth. He never has. It's Nils Koppen who will do that. He just coaches them. That is what he has done at every club he has worked at. He will get an input, but he doesn't identify targets etc or sign them.
Can we sign a striker to put an end to the bring lammers back for a second look in pre season, get this team gutted and get the losers out

Without the nightmare injuries this season, Rangers could easily have had a treble. I'm a wee bit glad that didn't happen. Would have papered over the cracks. We can't just be pipping Celtic, we should be smashing them with the team they have. The league by 12 points next year if limited injuries and even half the transfers are an improvement.

Was gutted we didn’t get him in January but the way that big Phil is threading the needle on the left this season I hope he can carry it on with the rest of the cracks in the team and we are on to a winner next season
I suspect fans wont be happy as the turnover needed is huge and we cant do it all in one window , we spent a decent amount last summer and need even more again this summer , its not realistic to think we can bring in 5-10 quality players at once , Sima and Shankland would be a good start though Sima is very doubtful 💰 💰😬 , add this guy thats 3 already a priority is a GOAL SCORER , we average 15-25 shots per game so even if our defence is weak a proven goal scorer will nulify that wrakness

Jefte is a former Wonderkid , he is big, super quick, throws himself into challenges in the air, his dribbling skill is higher than any winger currently at Rangers, he tends to win the ball by interception using his pace, Rangers if they develop him correctly could have a £40 million left back on their hands but that is if and it’s a big if that he doesn’t get his leg broken or other serious injury which in Scotland is as equally likely as he will humiliate a lot of Scottish defenders and therefore infuriate a lot of Scottish defenders so aye either he is a £40 million pound player in 2 years or he is ruined by Scottish football take yer pick 🇬🇧🇬🇧

We set-up this transfer back in the January Transfer window. Jefte, our New LB. We also HAVE Cardoba a LCB and a new back-up keeper in Liam Kelly thus far, I'm just wondering IF THIS BOARD WILL Give Mr Clement the money NEEDED for LOADS of players tbh, else we will get once again, shafted by the filth this up and coming new season ???

Big Jef the blue Brazilian will do for me at left back with Cordoba at LCB. We just need a RCB to partner him and Sterling for RB. Can we dismiss this myth amongst the fans that Clement signs his own players? He never has at any club he has worked for. It jas always been a sporting director doing it for him. That is how they do it in Belgium. Koppen will be signing and identifying our target's. Clement may get asked for some opinion, but he has never signed his own targets elsewhere and doesn't have any experience of picking out targets. Clement works with what he is given and coaches them. I am excited to see what Koppen gives Clement to work with.

Not to be negative but think it's worth saying I am beyond past getting hype for literally any player we sign until I seem them in the Jersey with a consistent run of games, the least hyped player was probably sterling and apart from butland he was far and away our best signing as an example feels like we could bring in de bruyne and he'd somehow flop 😂
Wanted Jefte then still want him now, he’s either really quick or every Cypriot player he plays against is really unfit- lightning ⚡️, our New and quite possibly - not pie in the sky , new Left side are, Cordoba, Jefte and Cortes quite the Latin American triple there and if you add Danilo who’s gonna be back next season fit and fresh then it’s certainly a look to our team I’ve never seen before we might have had 1 or 2 Latin American players before but not 4 at once, at tbh I don’t think that will be the last one of these guys brought in before the end of window. I quite like the new direction in theory anyway.

Like you CJ i don't want to see Ridvan go.... BUT as a Club we need to get away from injury prone players.
I've said before that rotation is all well and good BUT you should always start with your strongest 11 then when you are 3 or 4 up then you can bring on players to give them minutes. You can't do that if 11 players are out injured (many of whom are long term or frequent injury players)
