I didn’t change Marle’s because I know she prefers her alias, and I changed Robo’s name to “Proto” because 1 it’s more creative than Robo, 2 he was found in the Proto Dome, and 3 I can’t fit Prometheus in the naming screen
Alex's voice for the Mammon Machine is unlike anything I've ever heard before, and it's amazing. Lindsey does amazing as Zeal as always, and Magus' performance is one again also amazing. And Ayla's moment is amazing too!
"The Queen of Dreams has been made a pawn..." At this point, Zeal's beyond saving- rather fitting that Magus tries to give her a merciful (at least in this case) end. The queen think she's getting immortality, yet she's basically food for Lavos... and now, the sleeper awakes... Time to show the destroyer the future can yet be changed..
Ah but you forget that this is a closed time loop, at least according to popular theory. That means, if true, then Lavos is always destined to lose once the heroes get involved. So really...the future truly does refuse to change. Just not in the way everyone assumed. :P

I feel it's also to be fair to the characters. Both Magus and Frog have their own questlines so they'd double up if they sang together giving less chances for other characters to sing. Personally I brought Magus to Cyrus's quest as an atonement of sorts

I love the progression of Magus' themes across this musical, like how he starts as a generic arrogant villain to be torn down, then goes to being pretty much hopeless, before surging back up in this song, and determinedly standing to save the world and take revenge on Lavos, it is really cool
Here comes the final battle. But I surely love Zeal as an antagonist, through and through - in spite of her being essentially Lavos' brainwashed puppet, never to realize the erosion it caused upon her mind until the very end. Judging by how they say she was a more sweet or kind mother and monarch before, as well as the claims from the released Guru that Lavos had corrupted her mind, I can't help but imagine she is (although hard to see) a magnificent yet tragic antagonist. My personal theory is that she started searching for the ways to harvest the Lavos energy with genuinely good intentions, only to have them spiral into the entire opposite as the creature messed with her mind for its own purposes.
@Stan Brule, I think Marle's ancestry became a time paradox once we saved Queen Leene all way back in the middle ages. Because if you look at it, Schala became trapped with Lavos while Janus tries to summon and fails in his attempt when he confronts Lavos as an adult in the middle ages. So, the question would be, who from the royal family outside of Zeal had children? Schala never had a chance, and Janus was too focused on revenge to do such a thing. So, it does make you wonder how Marle's family line continues past the kingdom of Zeal when both heirs never had kids, and Queen Zeal was too into herself to have anymore if we were to look at the original timeline.

This was perfect. Especially since Loreley streamed yesterday and I made it in time. Anyway, props to Alex for doing the voice of the mammon machine. It sounded more growly than in it’s debut in ocean palace, and props to Loreley and Steven and Cami for their amazing lines

Amazing voice acting and singing! What a performance! The Magus theme in the end surprised me, I never thought that Magus will perform his theme as well. You all have done an astounding job! Black Omen is one of my favourite part of the game and the music too!

The amount of things that should be left are… the fight against lavos body, the trip inside lavos to get to its core, the fight against the core and the ending That leaves one song left that I have no idea what it could be… Personally I hope that the trip inside lavos’s core brings back song #13 even if just a little bit, it’s a real shame it only appeared once in this musical

Both the journey to save Crono and Lucca's sidequest didn't have songs, per-se; so I wouldn't put it past them to split the ending into two like that. If that's what they're going for, then we have five songs.

Steven has such a powerful voice, he'd do well in musical roles like Javert from Les Mis or the titular Phantom of the Opera. Every track that's featured him has really stood out to me. Keep up the excellent work, everyone. This adaptation of my favorite game is seeing me, and likely many others, through some dark times. ❤
Everybody says that Magus doesn’t have his own side quest, but I always consider this to be his quest. Having Magus with you to face Queen Zeal just feels like the only true way to do it.

Battle with Magus is the one that plays during the fight with Zeal, (if you have Magus in your party, I forgot to say originally. Oops!) I don't see why they wouldn't put that epic theme there, as I am sure we all find it cathartic to watch Zeal's son kick her ass without her even realizing who he is. 🙂 Still, they did an awesome job as usual with it and the Black Omen.
I think that's all that's left since they skipped the Tyranno lair 2: T-Rex Boogaloo, Toma's side quest bit, the Sun Palace, and the beginning of Fiona's forest sidequst.

My first thought is how much I like the song already. You wouldn't associate it with the setting, the futuristic fortress that seems to be all business, this nightclub villainy on the soundtrack.
After you beat the lavos shell you are taken to a room in which you can recover and change your party members before you go to fight phase 2 and phase 3 of lavos. Maybe the first phase will be with ayla, magus and chrono. And the second and third phases with robo, lucca, marle and/or frog

You really sound like a queen when you’re voicing them. As a side note, it’s implied that the Queen used to be a nicer person before her husband died and the Mammon Machine was built. Maybe she was more like Toriel. It’s also possible (though extremely difficult) to beat Lavos at Ocean Palace, which results in a joke ending where you meet the developers. We don’t really get to see the consequences for the timeline, but I wonder if Queen Zeal would regain her sanity after Lavos is gone.
