Fun fact. All the swans in England are technically owned by the reigning British Monarch (currently King Charles III, but it was Queen Elizabeth II at the time this movie was released). That's why even the villains wouldn't risk killing one by driving into it. They may have been horribly petty murderers but they were still loyal subjects of Her Majesty the Queen. ;)

Cameos Cameos Fact: Nicholas' ex-girlfriend Jeanine at the crime scene is Cate Blanchett. The Santa that stabs Nicholas is Peter Jackson. P. I. Staker is Stephen Merchant, best known in America as the voice of Wheatley in Portal 2 (2011). The judges for the Best Kept Village competition near the end of the film are played by Peter Wild and the mothers of Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg.
Actor's Actor Fact: The filming of Angel and Skinner's first meeting at the supermarket was filmed over the course of two days. The conversation was filmed entirely from Timothy Dalton's perspective first. The next day, early in the morning, they were to film the conversation with Angel's perspective and close-ups. Dalton, much to the surprise of the crew, showed up early the next morning, and even though he wasn't going to be on camera for that particular portion of the filming, he sat off-camera in Skinner's chair and played the role so that Simon Pegg would be able to have him to work with while filming his part as Angel. Pegg stated it really showed Dalton's professionalism.

Generally meek and lovable, though I once (along with a random woman who was passing) saw one fighting a toad and the screams and violence left us staring in shock. Then both of them turned as one, noticed us. looked shocked and ran away as if we weren't supposed to see that. We (me and the stranger) looked at each other almost speechless, said a few incoherent things and then went on our ways, with a sort of 'did that really happen?' / ''let us never speak of this' thing.

That creature in the riot room - that is a hedgehog.
As you may notice, they aren't blue, nor do they move at lightning speed. They DO however explode into gold rings when they get run over.
They come into gardens at night and snuffle around munching on slugs and worms. They aren't particularly scared of humans and will come up to you and sniff around you. When scared, they curl into a ball and use their spikes for defence.
They can be uncomfortable to pick up or hold but are otherwise harmless and a joy to see snuffling around saving cabbages from being eaten by slugs.

This movie will still be funny 60 years from now. It's just so well put together. There's so many little moments that just kill me. And I love that it's a play on action films, hence all the references throughout. Longtime fans of Wright's will notice some of the original SPACED cast peppered in. Something he does often in his films. He likes to use lots of the same actors in his films. That shows he's most likely a good friend because he takes care of his people, in front of and behind the camera. The man is a class act. I wish Pegg and Frost teamed up more often. They're chemistry is unmistakable. They're a modern day Laurel and Hardy. I could go on and on about this film. It's awesome, team EOM is awesome. Keep it going guys!

Romeo and Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the movie versions of that play that is most honest to the actual script. Almost nothing cut out, nothing altered; it takes place in the 90s. The weapons they use are the sword series Taurus line, it's so cool, 10/10.
Sorry, the part with the play came on and when you said "They didn't have-!" my brain just automatically "AKSHUALLY".
