Yup, they had to show Brandon Phillips' butt tag. I still crack up at that play. 😂

As a Reds Fan, I have seen this tag a few times and yes, it makes me laugh as I shake my head thinking poor Villar. He had his 9 game hitting streak snapped the night before and then he almost snaps his neck on Brandon's Bum!🤣 Salute J Man

I love that we see so much more levity in the players now than we used to.. It's like they're actually having fun playing the game and even when they completely biff it, They can kind of laugh about it because they realize that they are human and not perfect and that they're still playing the game that they love. Of course there are moments where you need to be more serious and there are still some players who take everything far too serious but it's just nice to see genuine smiles on players faces.

My all-time favourite funny baserunner was Adrian Beltre. He was great to watch.
There was one where he makes a big turn around first (thinking about second) and realizes the outfielder is already about to throw the ball back in: the comical way he slammed on the brakes with his arms waving around and dove back to first, is just hilarious to watch. I wish that was in this video.

There's one from the mid-to -late 70's that I try to find every so often...Willie Stargell hit a shot to right (IIRC) and rounded first. The RF played it perfectly and threw a laser to 2nd waaay ahead of Willie. Stargell stopped short and, before the tag, called time out. Still cracks me up! It was definitely Stargell and he called time out somewhere on the basepath but I might be mistaken about a few other details...that's just how it's stored on my brain solid state drive.

Always happy to see two great legends interacting together. Derek Jeter (The Captain, Mr. November) + David Ortiz (Big Papi)

It’s always those shorts slides where you can feel the pause as the players realizes they are cooked.

WAY too many mlb players take the game so seriously with their perceived disrespect, retaliation hit by pitches and toxic machismo that comps like this remind us that it's just a GAME and you should be having fun.

Whatever you’re going through in life, God saw it all, he knows your pain, trust God that he’ll never leave you nor forsake you.
the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the reflection of God’s character of love for us, even though we’re sinners, Christ came and sacrificed his life, for the salvation of humanity, for us to spend eternity with him forever.

I wonder what Chris Young is thinking about He needs a DH JD Martinez Is out there for the taking. One of the best professional hitters that would improve your team greatly. Are the Texas Rangers one and done. Now going back to their losing ways.

God loves us sinners, but hate the sin in our hearts, though we’re sinners, the death and resurrection of his only begotten son is a reflection of God’s love and plan of redemption for mankind. That we may spend eternity in his glorious presence forever.
