One thing to keep in mind. RI is not exactly a motorcycle friendly state, especially in the more tourist areas such as Newport. When you get into those towns you’ll see signs warning that loud motorcycles are not tolerated and they are not joking. I’d be careful rolling in with straight pipes.

I am surprised you missed RI-102. It runs north to south and is one of the longest, unobstructed, rural ride. I'd say it is the best.

Fair enough. 102 is a great if you want to stay on one long road. I find it a bit busy with traffic and not as scenic as some of these other routes. But our Foster Loop does include part of 102. Thanks for the comment!
