Thanks man for showing me where to look on my car. I appreciate it. Got the part, just haven't gotten to put it on because I couldn't find it. Lol. I may be a woman, but I fix my own cars, and youtube/blueprints are amazing. So, again, thank you, I will be doing this tomorrow.
Thanks for pointing the location of the sensor . I am not a auto repair person. But I try to do it myself. Looks pretty simple. I will have it checked at Auto Zone and have it read. Thanks again. Maybe I can get hubby to help out lmbo.
fran rene' smith temp sensors rarely go out!! Check fluid level first then check the pigtail at sensor to see that ther are no frade wires if all ok then change thermostat!
Thank you for this video. I have an 08 and I am having a issue with a ENGINE HOTT A/C OFF code on the dash and the fan stays on with the temp gauge all the way down to cold.... I replaced the same part as your video but code still is up . I'm gong to replace the thermastate next. Hope that fixes the issue .
KAMIKAZE I think doesn’t help to change this part in your car Change themostatic volve Will help you to resolve the problem As I did in my 2007 chev equinox
I have same truck. I replaced that part, replaced manifold gaskets which was bad, water pump radiator thermostat.plus I bleed it. Its still running hot and bubbles and pressure is backing up in the reservoir. Not much smoke and its running fine not missing at all
@@alanwiggins47 Mine was doing the same thing, I replaced the heater core, my dad (mechanic) said that was the issue. I know it's a month later, but if you ever run across another issue like that, you have an answer to ur question.
Hello i hop you can help me i have a chevy equinox 2008 and problem is that fans turns on and off every 5 seconds and sometimes when i turn off the car they keep running. But the temperature icon on dash it's still normal. Thanks.
Electrical shortage... Sounds like the hot wire is touching something... Double check the fuses that go to the fan... Then get a mechanic to re run the wires to the fan....
I have a 2008 Chevy equinox LTZ and it over heats just the same, if I’m at a stop sign, drive thru, or stop light it begins to over heat. I’ve changed the water pump, radiator hose, thermostat and bled the system and it worked well for a few days but now I’m having the same issue again. Not to mention, my coolant reservoir seems to fill higher when I drive it, Even when though I fill it to the cool line. My best guess at thus point is the head gasket. Someone please help
So I have a 2007 Chevy equinox and I have some of the similar issues my car runs hot all the time so I got the water pump, thermostat, bypass, and had coolent bleed and it's still running hot! Could it be this or the radiator???

What's the teick to the plug I can't get it off
When you replace does any coolant come out or is this just a straight swap out? Thanks
please subscribe..... no coolant came out but i did take the cap off to release all pressure
I have the same suv i replaced the snesor still haven't changed. What else can it be
Make sure the fluid isn’t mixed with oil… and the radiator fans come on… and the thermostat might have to be replaced.

Does the radiator make bubbles when it's running for a while
Disconnect the negative terminal.
Explain why. I knew the first comment I seen would say disconnect negative.
