- When it comes to keeping your shoulders healthy and avoiding issues, focus on three key things:
Joint Workspace: Ensure you have enough space in the joint capsule, between the upper arm bone and the scapula. This is crucial because your four rotator cuff muscles (Subscapularis, Supraspinatus, Infraspinatus, and Teres Minor) all work together to form the shoulder joint, which primarily functions through rotation. Strength and control here are essential.
Scapula Movement: Your scapula needs to glide smoothly on your rib cage when you move your upper arm. If the tissues involved aren't trained, they can tighten up, leading to an immobile scapula and causing shoulder problems.
Thoracic Spine Mobility: T-spine mobility is vital for shoulder health due to their interconnected movement.

Starting week 2
It's always a struggle for me to find the balance of what I can physically do and what I can do without hurting my body. Everything I have tried for the shoulders has just caused me more pain. But so far this is going well and I think that is down to how adjustable to your level it is. I'm still struggling to know when is it pain and when is it just discomfort! But feeling very hopeful that this will help! Next can you do a similar thing for knees and then back 😅
really appreciate this series as I attempt to follow it!
Today is day one of week 2 for me. omg the first excercise made my right shoulder hurt so I opened my arms more like you suggested and it helped then on the second one I got a mean cramp so I lowered intensity and then you said you were cramping too and did exactly what I did so I'm glad i listened to my shoulders need. Will keep up with this you're the BEST for this thank you so much! Really 💓
I’m really loving this, I have done the week 2 exercise three times so far, I feel really good in the shoulder area. Thank you for this
