Thanks for the video, my friend. I am extremely disappointed with the Osmo Action 4, I replaced the two Osmo 1 with the Osmo 4. Timecode does not work, the external microphone has this delay. I didn't see any advantage over the Osmo 1, I hope DJI urgently updates the firmware to solve these problems. Another absurd thing is that they make an adapter and place the mic input on the side of the adapter, when it should be on the back, like the CINOVA adapter.
Yeah, waiting for updates from DJI. The adaptor is yet to come to India

Nope. DJI is not keen on fixing the issue. they are releasing OA5, New camera. I picked the AcePro - Check that vlog on my channel
Which is best to buy go pro 10 or action 3 ???? Lots of peoples are telling that dji has mic output issue
Refer the video for DJI osmo action 4. Check from the beginning. Otherwise OA4 is the best right now.

I agree. Whats wrong with DJI now a days especially from Jan, 2023. I have DJI mini 4 pro drone. But after firmware updates, its start showing errors. 😢 DJI developers now a days are useless, no care at all, no testing I believe as they seriously doing before. Now needs to break monopoly in drone section.

Yes
I guess you could have bought the Boya mic adapter which works fine with Osmo Action 4. Also, DJI has recently launched a new adapter for Osmo Action 4 for $45. May be give these two a try because all the methods you have chosen is already proven to not work.
yes Boya picked. but its not a 100% working solution. it still has the lag issue. gets detected after 3-4 seconds.
and the DJI osmo 3.5 adaptor isnt available in India. that too has some issues as seen / read on the DJI FB groups
Based on the comments I read, I guess it suppresses the signal way too much and should be only good for motovlogging.
Not sure till I get my hands on it. Will wait till it's available in India at a good rate
