Once you are free, you are free. I emerged from hell and kept on walking. I continue to heal. The deception and cruelty of narcissists are evil. They know what they are doing and are highly manipulative. It is covert behaviour, and we mean nothing to them. Nothing at all. They implode when they see that we know what their 'game was'. Their puny, miserable life will never change. Yours will. You, we and I have love and abundance. Narcissists have nothing but cruelty, lies and destruction. If you suspect and see patterns yet still don't believe it's happening, trust your gut and get out immediately. Never look back. They lose, and you win.
I'm just afraid of talking about this and having all the narcissists really hear this and the value of all the information described on them. Eventually, I think they will evolve and be harder to spot. Do you think so? Is it a possibility?
it actually took me meeting up with my narc abuser to be fully healed. It was like watching a movie I've already seen in action, very familiar, predictable. As she tried to play her cards again, I simply watched and was invincible to her tactics and deceit. It enraged her to realize she had no more control or effect. It was like watching a Superman movie when Superman gets hit by bullets. I simply walked away from it like she was nothing, cause she became nothing to me.
A big gift to give yourself is to say, the narc abuser, instead of my narc abuser. My siblings became the siblings. The brother...the sister. That lifted more burdens off of me. We no longer claim them as our own. Words are power. Yes, it is like Superman.

After 14 years I'm separated from an abusive narcissistic alcoholic. I only had their family, as I don't have my own. Now I'm completely alone. Had to move out of state. No family, no friends. I don't want to go back to her but I don't want to keep living anymore. I'm doing the best I can praying to God every day.
You can make it, brother. I am in the same boat with the no friends or family. We will make it, be strong. Think of how much mentally resilient you will be after you have healed. Just avoid distractions and go through all the grief and pain the right way, but be gentle and love yourself. I accepted what I can be accountable for, but you can't do that for the other person, grow and become better for yourself. You don't need another person for that to happen.
Get the Bible and start reading it from Matthew and learn about JESUS. You will find He is the only ONE you need in life, and you will be more than HAPPY.
It is a minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day kind of challenge. I had to put up so many messages to myself to read each day. We work through it, and it is hard. But we do it. I think for me was that I didn't want to let them win. Almost three years later, I know for sure that I won the battle. Don't ever give up, as Andrew says.
Zero contact is the only way. It takes time with many tears, especially when you review all the special times they destroyed. He made flying monkeys of my beloved family. l am fortunate to have a strong faith but even so it has taken 3 years but l have won. Keep your eyes on the goal of healing and you will get there. 36 years with him 16 - 52, it's over since 5 October this year, he kicked me out of our house we own together. Didn't go back, he was cheating, and im over it.

He has no right to kick you out. My husband tried to make me leave and him to stay. My attorney said Do not leave your home. Make sure you get a good attorney and get back in your home. Let the jerk go out and rent.

I want to give all of you who recently have been discarded a message of hope. I know from my personal experience that this is a really difficult time. Nothing anyone says or does can take your pain away. But I know that with time and with hard work ( watching videos, journaling how you are feeling) all of you can and will feel better. It’s been 2 plus years since the discard after a long marriage and I am feeling finally free. You will get there also!!

That was a big challenge for me. I finally stopped putting out their fires, and do not feed the flying monkeys any information. I found that one thing that kept me putting out the fires was that I was too responsible in general. We owe them not a single effort. We only owe ourselves little steps to get on with our own lives.
Narcissists are pure evil. I left a job almost 3 years ago, leaving a narcissistic boss. I just got a Christmas card, which went directly into the trash. Still get text messages wishing me a happy Mother's Day. It's crazy! They know I want absolutely nothing to do with them, and the hoovering keeps right on happening. They lost and I won. I won my self-respect and peace of mind. The best decision I ever made was going no contact. Thank you Andrew for helping me to get through the fog. ❤️
Left mine 3 months ago, the money wasn't worth it anymore. My narcissistic boss convince my coworkers to ask me when I was quitting because he was too coward to ask himself. One day I just walked out, notice or warning. Best day of 2024 and I just landed a job paying almost double with more growth. God is great!

Good point for those who didn’t have children damaged and like their parent or parents. Children live what they learn, and he taught lessons to anyone who didn’t honor him, his own sons lacked a controlled environment, later they snapped.

As the fog clears, my mind remembers events as they happened with my ex narc. But along with the understanding comes a wave of sadness. The reason he was able to manipulate me so easily is that I had been groomed as a child decades ago. Trained like a whipped dog to always be in that state of reception of dark forces flowing from my caregivers directly into my mind. And that darkness still sits there, waiting for the next hateful asshole to try and feed on me. But this time, I will feel more ready to set boundaries, thanks to this channel! ❤

There were definitely "micro-discards." As I grew older, each stage of maturity, my mother found a way to keep her control over me. It's diabolical actually. Like a toddler that doesn't want to let go of a toy. I'm not a toy. I'm a person. Narcissists do not see people that way. Understanding that one concept (which is foreign to me) is the key to stopping their abuse. NO CONTACT IS SURVIVAL. Merry Christmas Andrew. He moved out 5 days ago. He tried to extinguish my bright and shining light for 38 years. Almost worked last Thanksgiving but that little light was still glowing. I was taught in my first year of Quaker School at 5 years old, ‘This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine’. I will look at myself a year from now and reflect. You are blessed beyond measure. Two Christmas ago, I was passively dumped. I didn’t even get to join my family for our traditional Christmas dinner. However, today I am so much stronger because I will never go back to the way I used to be. I get text msgs from all sorts of phone numbers, don’t know who they are from but I have a hunch. Getting a full tank of this education is a foot across the winning line. You'll never be taken by surprise again. You know what to expect. I have memories of videos where a runner, cyclist, etc. raises their hands in a premature victory. You may not want to celebrate right away, a hand span away may be a Narc still trying to poison your champagne. For the educated Empath, it's a different kind of "win." - keep moving forward. I accept, I'll be forever vigilant. The Narc won't forget, neither will I.
My winning is maintaining no contact no matter who tries to come around to hoover me for information to take back to my narcissistic daughter. I'm making a new life, new friends, one day step at a time. Having to start over at 73, with nothing but the clothes on my back, has been interesting. Along the way, I've found help acquiring household items to restart. I'm hoping to get my own place in the future. I've made holidays on my own and shared them this year with friends. Life is returning to me, and I'm grateful and feel extremely blessed. Soldier on survivors!

Right now I loose everything to a narcissist. She has total control over everything around me. I loose friends on a daily base. Just right now her friends, who are the admins in our norwegian Vanlife group, throw me out because of HER words and (re)actions. But it`s my group too. I live in a camper van thru the whole year, but not in the coldest months of the winter. That was my home, my community. Nobody asks how I feel, or what she did to me. I feel like I am not a human anymore. I am 50 years old, and I hate this kindergarden :(
I hope in 2025 you are surrounded with better people. People who care about you and listen to facts of a situation before passing judgment. It sounds like you were not with true friends. As you leave the narcissist, something will fill the space. It is like water. You can't dig a hole in water. The space has to be filled. Keep healing, and that space will become filled with like-minded healthy people. High vibrational people will fill that space.
It was like death by 1000 fists. Not sure my heart can or will love again. He didn't win.....I have peace and that is more important than anything in this life❤

Brilliant inspiring video Andrew. I have been apart from my narcissistic ex for almost 3 years now . I am finally getting over it and putting my life back together. Christmas Eve was tough though. I finished work at 2pm, walked my dog, but didn’t want to go home to be alone , so myself and my dog went for a long drive. I had a little cry, but realised that I was far better to be in a house alone, than with a toxic hate filled, fake person . Reality and education sets us free. ❤
Happy end of the year, Andrew. Five years ago, a man had two cardiac arrests in front of the restaurant I had with my ex wife. She was pissed; I was glad we saved this man’s life. Of course we divorced. Had a very merry Christmas with the dog that is now my and before her dog. Sometimes I tease him a little bit with his chicken legs and wings to make him realize I really love him…

He crumpled me up and his kids up like a sheet of paper and threw us on the side of the road just like Andrew always explains it. This is our 3rd Christmas without that thing and we MADE IT! We love each other. We will never abandon each other. We are on the 🏔️. If I can do it! You can do it. I promise. It is a lot of work…and will always be a part of my story. But you can heal. My narcissist didn't cheat on me, but he would flirt with other women. He would always say, "I'm just having fun with them" He wanted me to feel like I was "less" than who ever he wanted to flirt with. His #1 motis operandi was triangulation.
We all have free will. I won because of the choices I have made through this hell and back cycle thanks to the love shown from Andrew and the community! You have to surrender and humble yourself to see the truth!
The whole month of December triggers me. December 2019. I had nowhere to go, alone and abandoned, broken ankle, basically in a dazed stupor. Tried to take my life but I guess it wasn't my time. 5 years no contact now. I am healed spiritually, physically, emotionally. But those dark, dark times are something I will never forget and although all of us here are either in the process of healing or have healed I feel like it's something that you never completely get over because it's such a traumatic experience.

My first narcissist free Christmas since 2019. Every Christmas since then, I was always wishing I could feel safe in my relationship. This is the first Christmas where I now feel safe from her. This is best Christmas present I ever had.
While journaling, I reflected on christmas 2022 and just realized that is when the narcissist passively discarded me. 2023 was horrible for me, and Xmas became a vulnerable time. It's been 12 years since I first practiced radical acceptance without even knowing that there was such thing much less a thing called "narcissism". Only in recent years I've been blessed to educate myself and understand what this all was. In the beginning of this healing journey, I only learned of my ex-partners being narcissistic abusers. What I unraveled and finally understood was that this all had started the day I was born, born into a den of wolves. I always knew my family was jealous, beyond toxic, but I never knew there was a name to this system. We all need daily reminders to keep pushing forward 🙏
My eye tore on my birthday from the stress of the liar. Am still seeing double 3 years later. BUT I blasted him for the last time today on Christmas Day… thru my daughter… who has known him since she was 2 years old. He responded to her texts. I’ve been blocked for 3 years. She told him she hopes he reaps everything he’s done to her beautiful mother over the years. Lol He responded with two text messages. I told her not to reply to him. I’m good… still suffering but good… and I wanted to make sure he knows he did not get away with his lies… his deceit… his betrayal. I’m gonna fly now… like a butterfly. I won✔️ Thank you! ❤
The narcissist around me have no bounds. After a lifetime of being told I’m an alcoholic and that I can not drink, and being forced to order wine for family members for their Christmas for elderly parents who don’t know how to order it themselves, I was gifted a bottle of wine. If I was so bad, why are they changing their mind? I didn’t drink it, I want nothing to do with them or their insanity. There is no basis in reality for all their abuse. Merry Christmas. I saw that again and again with some in law family members. It was a power trip to always insist on wine at all gatherings, purposefully, in front of the one who had stopped drinking. I decided that the last two percent of person's troubles with alcohol was the controlling family members. I was forced to tell them that I would not return to their house if it ever happened again. That was years and years ago. The problem ended, and the person was freed from the family abuse. Best wishes on no longer being forced to do, or accept their power trips. It is sick behavior on their parts. It rattled me so much, that I don't touch alcohol. It was a bad experience for anyone to see. Sympathy, or better yet, empathy here.

I stayed silent for many years but, after one thing done upon me tonight...I said all. It was something to make me nothing like this woman wants but...calling her out... made her flee from me and shut all down. I'm not hiding nor am I afraid anymore...There is something she hates about me and ...I must have power over whatever it is... I rule ! Just don't know what or why but....she failed so! I love how you keep reminding us that things will never change with these people, Andrew! For those of you who are going through the "withdrawal," please know you will heal. I guarantee it. It just feels like hell momentarily, but it will change for the better. One day you will find yourself singing along with a song, or singing in the shower. You will eventually find that it's now 5 pm and I haven't thought of that person for 10 hours, and then eventually it goes down to practically nothing, but NOT if you keep FEEDING that Narc. For those that have already gone through this, they know that the most valuable gift a victim of these demons could receive at this time of year is the absence of their toxic presence. It's sad the lengths that these evil souls will go to. I brought a lot of food over, with the help of some friends, to help my grandkids' household 2 years ago. Today I am being denied interaction with my grandkids because I am part Jewish...as well as the same on Thanksgiving day. It's sad to see and hear such people going to church and playing Xmas music, and then denying Nana interaction on holidays.

So many truths in this video, I suspected she’d been smearing me to her best friend for at least a year based on her friend’s sudden energy change towards me. So I said NO to her invitation to attend a major league baseball game with her best friend and husband. Within 4 months I was discarded for the new supply. So happy to be free from her!

This is the third year I've spent Christmas day with my dog only. My choice as after years of narcissistic abuse from family members & ex narcissistic toxic friends. I left my husband for 3 years and one of our children died, we have 6. I foolishly went back believing something would have changed after a died child but it was worse. I'm now 70 and planning to leave again. Sometimes wondering if its too late at my age. I had breast cancer when i was 60 went through all treatments and survived, i truly believe my healing was from God.❤. I often wonder what bad thing i did to deserve this. He is a covert narcissist and looks and appears to be perfect. I even questioned myself, am I the narcissist ext, all the usual things. I feel if i don't go it will kill me. I've realized that I had to grey rock through my whole childhood with many people. No one taught me the term, but it was survival for a kid with red hair. Children should not have to grey rock. Now, I keep several grey rocks on my book shelf to remind me that I don't need people in my life when grey rocking is required. I will not see them or give them my energy.
Hi Andrew! Been away from the narc husband for 2 yrs now while waiting for the finality of the divorce. I finally picked it up last Monday and sent it to him right away. Together with the Quit claim Deed I signed. It is uncontested and awarded the house to him. I enclosed his car key & our wedding ring that he used only a month after the wedding. I tracked the parcel and it was delivered to him on Christmas Eve. It wasn't intentional but it just happened. He must have gotten the best Christmas gift this year. Survivors,we got this. Keep growing for ourselves. We deserve peace and be real happy without them!❤

They know what they are doing and are highly manipulative. It is covert behaviour, and we mean nothing to them. Nothing at all. They implode when they see that we know what their 'game was'. Their puny, miserable life will never change. Yours will. You, we and I have love and abundance. Narcissists have nothing but cruelty, lies and destruction. it actually took me meeting up with my narc abuser to be fully healed. It was like watching a movie I've already seen in action, very familiar, predictable. As she tried to play her cards again, I simply watched and was invincible to her tactics and deceit. It enraged her to realize she had no more control or effect. It was like watching a Superman movie when Superman gets hit by bullets. I simply walked away from it like she was nothing, cause she became nothing to me.

After 14 years I'm separated from an abusive narcissistic alcoholic. I only had their family, as I don't have my own. Now I'm completely alone. Had to move out of state. No family, no friends. You can make it, brother. I am in the same boat with the no friends or family. We will make it, be strong. Think of how much mentally resilient you will be after you have healed. Just avoid distractions and go through all the grief and pain the right way, but be gentle and love yourself. I accepted what I can be accountable for, but you can't do that for the other person, grow and become better for yourself. You don't need another person for that to happen.
Get the Bible and start reading it from Matthew and learn about JESUS. You will find He is the only ONE you need in life, and you will be more than HAPPY.
It is a minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day kind of challenge. I had to put up so many messages to myself to read each day. We work through it, and it is hard. But we do it. I think for me was that I didn't want to let them win. Almost three years later, I know for sure that I won the battle. Don't ever give up, as Andrew says.

Still get text messages wishing me a happy Mother's Day. It's crazy! They know I want absolutely nothing to do with them, and the hoovering keeps right on happening. They lost and I won. Left mine 3 months ago, the money wasn't worth it anymore. My narcissistic boss convince my coworkers to ask me when I was quitting because he was too coward to ask himself. One day I just walked out, notice or warning. Best day of 2024 and I just landed a job paying almost double with more growth. God is great!

The reason he was able to manipulate me so easily is that I had been groomed as a child decades ago. My winning is maintaining no contact no matter who tries to come around to hoover me for information to take back to my narcissistic daughter. I'm making a new life, new friends, one day step at a time. Having to start over at 73, with nothing but the clothes on my back, has been interesting. Right now I loose everything to a narcissist. She has total control over everything around me. I loose friends on a daily base. Just right now her friends, who are the admins in our norwegian Vanlife group, throw me out because of HER words and (re)actions. But it`s my group too. I live in a camper van thru the whole year, but not in the coldest months of the winter. That was my home, my community. Nobody asks how I feel, or what she did to me. I feel like I am not a human anymore. I am 50 years old, and I hate this kindergarden :(

The whole month of December triggers me. December 2019. I had nowhere to go, alone and abandoned, broken ankle, basically in a dazed stupor. It's been 12 years since I first practiced radical acceptance without even knowing that there was such thing much less a thing called "narcissism". Only in recent years I've been blessed to educate myself and understand what this all was. In the beginning of this healing journey, I only learned of my ex-partners being narcissistic abusers. I saw that again and again with some in law family members. It was a power trip to always insist on wine at all gatherings, purposefully, in front of the one who had stopped drinking. I decided that the last two percent of person's troubles with alcohol was the controlling family members. I was forced to tell them that I would not return to their house if it ever happened again. That was years and years ago. The problem ended, and the person was freed from the family abuse. Best wishes on no longer being forced to do, or accept their power trips. It is sick behavior on their parts. It rattled me so much, that I don't touch alcohol. It was a bad experience for anyone to see. Sympathy, or better yet, empathy here.

I love how you keep reminding us that things will never change with these people, Andrew! For those of you who are going through the "withdrawal," please know you will heal. I guarantee it. It just feels like hell momentarily, but it will change for the better. One day you will find yourself singing along with a song, or singing in the shower. You will eventually find that it's now 5 pm and I haven't thought of that person for 10 hours, and then eventually it goes down to practically nothing, but NOT if you keep FEEDING that Narc. For those that have already gone through this, they know that the most valuable gift a victim of these demons could receive at this time of year is the absence of their toxic presence. It's sad the lengths that these evil souls will go to. I brought a lot of food over, with the help of some friends, to help my grandkids' household 2 years ago. Today I am being denied interaction with my grandkids because I am part Jewish...as well as the same on Thanksgiving day. It's sad to see and hear such people going to church and playing Xmas music, and then denying Nana interaction on holidays.

So many truths in this video, I suspected she’d been smearing me to her best friend for at least a year based on her friend’s sudden energy change towards me. So I said NO to her invitation to attend a major league baseball game with her best friend and husband. Within 4 months I was discarded for the new supply. So happy to be free from her!

This is the third year I've spent Christmas day with my dog only. My choice as after years of narcissistic abuse from family members & ex narcissistic toxic friends. I won't allow anyone into my safe space & have boundaries with everyone now. It's a very long healing road but it is so worth keeping these's creatures out so you can heal & protect yourself against deadly vemon. I left my husband for 3 years and one of our children died, we have 6. I foolishly went back believing something would have changed after a died child but it was worse. I'm now 70 and planning to leave again. Sometimes wondering if its too late at my age. I had breast cancer when i was 60 went through all treatments and survived, i truly believe my healing was from God.❤. I often wonder what bad thing i did to deserve this. He is a covert narcissist and looks and appears to be perfect. I even questioned myself, am I the narcissist ext, all the usual things. I feel if i don't go it will kill me. I've realized that I had to grey rock through my whole childhood with many people. No one taught me the term, but it was survival for a kid with red hair. Children should not have to grey rock. Now, I keep several grey rocks on my book shelf to remind me that I don't need people in my life when grey rocking is required. I will not see them or give them my energy.

Been away from the narc husband for 2 yrs now while waiting for the finality of the divorce. I finally picked it up last Monday and sent it to him right away. Together with the Quit claim Deed I signed. It is uncontested and awarded the house to him. I enclosed his car key & our wedding ring that he used only a month after the wedding. I tracked the parcel and it was delivered to him on Christmas Eve. It wasn't intentional but it just happened. He must have gotten the best Christmas gift this year.
