I really enjoyed the no music of this video. I love the sound of machines running. I love having my 3d printer running in the background - the sounds of the motors (or using woodworking tools) is very calming and entrancing.

Good job! Finally some proper coasters that hold the condensate in. I don’t like when people make them flat on top and covered in poly so the water rolls off and onto the surface they were sworn to protect. Well done!

I’ve recently heard a number of my fave makers being aware of potential gaps between what they want to do and what the audience might want or expect. I think this is your best video, since it only looks like the batch of coasters do it and there is no comment. In the rest of the videos, you talk and explain many things, which for me is a very big distraction, since in the best case I only understand 5% of what it says, the rest I can deduce from I see.

Out of 20+ how to make coasters video, this is the FIRST I’ve seen that not only it looks beautiful but it is also FUNCTIONAL. Shallow center to absorbs and contain condensation IN THE COASTER and does protect the surface where the coaster is placed!
I love your normal style of videos with all the fun and energy, but this was very peaceful and calming to just hear the hum of the power tools and the sound of making. Would love to see more videos like this!

The main reason why I am using no laser nor cnc is because I don't have neither of them. Great job, great use of the tools you have at your disposal. The art is in the thinking as much as in the making ;-)

Very practical, I'm inspired! I might just have to stretch the legs and go bust out some coasters with my newfound knowledge. Lemme just dust off the 'ol 6k glowforge laser cutter and get to work on these coasters!

One hint for leather:) if the leather is not compleatly dry after applying dye it will have weird coloring like stains or something and if you close with conditioner it will preserve the discoloration forever
