You got that right! I was thrilled to find this spot. Realising more and more, I spend time looking for animal-appreciating opportunities when I film videos 😂 Thank you for noticing and appreciating too! Keep well 😍

Time for another NZ fix. Any tips for travelling cheaply (without slumming it) in NZ?

Hi Terry! 🙂 Thank you for watching - I highly encourage a NZ adventure! 😃 I found the best way to keep costs lower, is to travel off-peak season (I love colder months, but avoid the peak Winter sports/tourist time), so shoulder season has reduced prices in the South Island. I also found booking well ahead to help too (normally I book 6 months in advance), as prices are cheaper for accommodation (I tend to book with family-owned small rented spare rooms in easy walking distance to where I want to go). I've been fortunate to have my accommodation paid for during some of my travels as a guest speaker at conventions, which is where I stayed in Wellington on this occasion. I hope this helps! And have an amazing time in NZ! 😊

@@AussieGem good tips. Heading off in early May - colder months and shoulder season for the win!
