I'm not shocked you are leaving Sydney, it's so beautiful but so cultureless , and not worth the expense. I left 24 years ago, and couldn't live there now. I wish you luck in your new adventure. I don't know why people dive right into laying on the mat instead of taking baby steps, like placing it against a sofa cushion or wrapping it around a pillow and leaning into it so you can work your way up to putting all your weight on it. I found that holding it against my body and then leaning back works best and is drastically less painful.

My wife and I set walking challenges like 80k steps in 7 days and 60k steps over a 3 day long weekend to motivate ourselves to get out and plan places to walk.
