Step Inside a Hobbit Hole! Exploring Bagshot Row at Hobbiton (no talking, first person view)

- Experience walking through BOTH Hobbit Hole doors - the authentic NEW walk-through experience at Hobbiton Movie Set, New Zealand.
First open to the public in December 2023, I attended twice to film inside each door's incredible experience.
I filmed this video with the intention of a quiet walk-through adventure, with no vlogs, selfies or narration (with gentle music to minimise the group tour chatter), so you can feel the ambiance and enjoy feeling like you are there! ❤️
The project was brought to life by renowned illustrators and concept designers John Howe and Alan Lee, known for their work on Middle-earth, alongside renowned Art Director for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and Project Manager for Hobbiton Movie Set Brian Massey, and Production Designer Ra Vincent.
The expert team of artists, set designers, gardeners, and landscapers included several ‘Easter eggs’ throughout the interior of the Hobbit Hole to be enjoyed by different levels of the fandom.

That is so wonderful. The attention to detail blows my mind. I am unfortunately a perfectionist and its so perfect, i almost got a tear in my eye watching this. Actually i really got one... damn it! 😄 It doesn't look like a themepark. It looks real as if a hobbit is walking around the corner every other second. In most themepark everything looks so cheap and most things are behind glas or a fence. Here you can touch anything. Lol the hobbit newspaper at the toilet. 😄so cool. What a wonderful place to leave the real world for 2 hours. I wish i could celebrate my birthday with friends under the large tree and experience the sunset in Hobbiton. Thx for the video.

No internet, heating, electricity, adequate height, comfortable chairs etc., ans so much more. It will grow old quick, but as a small vacation spot used from time to time it might have lasting merit.

Yes you can now! Since December 2023 (which is when I went), you are now able to walk through a choice of 2 hobbit holes! The group will be split evenly on the day (they will keep friends/couples together etc), and each group goes through one home. Enjoy your trip! Thanks for sharing, have booked the evening tour and banquet at the end of November two days before I return to the UK,! So looking forward to it, was there in 2007 and have a photo of my late wife and I in Bag End, tried in 2020 but Covid got in the way!
Thanks for posting. These homes and their decor are beautiful works of art. I had to go to settings though to slow the pace down. My eyes want to move slowly through the rooms and linger. Need to buy some pink lightbulbs for my home now, too.

My dream house😍
My daughter is in the US Coast Guard and her boat stopped in New Zealand so she went on a tour to this place in early 2024. It's cool seeing all this via a video because she sent me still life phone pictures. I'd like to go someday. I started reading the Hobbit in 3rd grade and kept reading all of his books until probably 11th grade. It's amazing how much they made these places so similar to the way Tolkien described them in the books.

how long were you allowed to stay in the hobbit house??
Inside the hobbit house is about 20minutes to explore (due to other groups coming behind in timed segments). The whole tour takes 2 hours 30 minutes for each group's Standard Hobbiton Tour 🥰 Thank you for watching Doctor!
