Whooooaaaaaaa! I'm a 40 year old lifetime A-Rod hater (although I also once tried to knock a players glove off while running the bases) but after watching this video my opinion has drastically changed. To hear him talk about the game within the game and paying attention to every single pitch gave me goose bumps. Definitely the right way to play the game of baseball and how I try to teach to my son. I always thought A-Rod got by on his elite athleticism and god given talent but its great to hear about how he used every possible aspect of baseball to his advantage that he could and I love that he is giving back to the game and if kids really start to listen to all the great teachings and advice he's been handing out this last year or two I really think it could lead to the sport becoming better than ever and reverse this current trend of strikeouts and homeruns and not much else. Great job and keep up the good work!

Alex! This is great stuff! Big fan for sure. Looking for a good vid on slap techniques with a close play at first. Often I find myself tapping weak to the right side and I wish I could just discreetly swipe the ball free and get myself to second.

I know Alex will never read this, but Alex:
I'm sorry I ever doubted you. It was a hell of a journey watching you play. When you got caught cheating, thus bringing a black stain to your career and probably killing your chances at the hall, I'll admit I threw the towel in on you. But you took your punishment like the man that you are and always were. And since leaving the jersey behind you've grown into one hell of a voice for baseball. I wish you nothing but the best man. Kudos to you.
