The "wake up and go" feeling is such a great feeling. I don't have to style my hair every day so I can focus on other things. Locd hair is so versatile. We can do so much with it, and I intend to explore that. The lint attraction, definitely a con 😫😫😫.
I found that weekly washing and no products (besides a little light oil on wash day) keeps the lint away. It won’t have a chance to embedd. I just inspect a few times a week and pick off any I see.

My only con is the drying. Even when I think mine is all the way dry it’s not. I have a few moisture wicking head coverings. I put those on after I think it’s dry. And have not had any issues with smell or mold. And keeping ur locs covered really does help with look and the care.
I feel now I will cover my hair more! Locs take like 5 business days to dry and not everyone has the time to lay in the sun all day or use a dryer so that’s definitely a struggle for now my hair dries at a decent speed but I’m guessing it’s because it’s still short!

I wash my locs daily with aveeno shower gel the non scented one for sensitive skin, as the first wash to lose any product (just oil) then Pantene shampoo after that. I don't have buildup because of that process. shea moisture conductor twice a month. interlocking once a year is probably helping too.
6 55.... Hairdryers are notorious for damaging hair, even fair haired people. Split ends happen faster with regular hair dryer use. Honestly, unless it's a cold weather climate where you get sick from wet hair, a hair dryer is a waste of electricity.

Lint is a major con I dye my hair black to combat it 😭😭😭 I mostly have a little bit in the locs at the back of my head.. I’ll admit these days I have been really lazy with wearing a bonnet. I will never go back to dealing with loose hair after tasting this life of freedom 😂😂😂😂😂 thank you so much Beautiful I appreciate you with my whole heart.
