I hope this comment isn't disrespectful but OMG you are such an incredibly beautiful woman. Your husband /boyfriend isn't lucky he's very blessed. Your aesthetic is very different compared to the women of today's time. You have a very natural look. You really do stand out queen I appreciate you for that. Happy New Year to you and your family gorgeous! Many blessings💙🙏🏾
I usually use the Cuban twist hair for my 2 strand loc style but I love this look and I will be trying it out on myself. Thanks for the tutorial and may God bless you.
this was literally just the video i needed. My bday is coming up and my hair is similar to yours in length but I have some color in the ends. Can’t wait to make somethin shake for the lil bday dinner. Lol
Your hair is so beautiful. I just started my loc journey . May I ask how many locs do you have . I love the fullness of locs and I just counted out 144 in my head lol
My birthday is coming up also I wanted my hair done in Marley twist with color hair like green and black I wanted something different to do to my dreads
Why is it called "protective"? You're literally covering your hair with someone else's hair (or synthetic fiber remnants🥴). Cute style. Protection, not so much.
@thetenthltr Black women have been using synthetic hair for centuries to do protective hairstyles. It's protective because it keeps your hair away from the elements and minimizes friction, which leads to breakage. It's part of the culture. Let's not be rude just because you don't understand it, and if you don't understand it then lucky for you this is RUclips, you can educate yourself.

I kept it in for about two weeks! I could have left it in for longer but I missed my locs lol
I did a protective style but now my locs are thinner and I don’t know what to do😢
It may have been too tight/ heavy
How old were your locs when you did it?
@@Goddessofloveeee a little bit over a year
They’ve bounced back though
@@debstar3070 I’m a little over a year and my hair is so fine. This is exactly what I’m worried about. :(
It's cute😍❤️🔥

Heck locks look better, yes this is cute too, but it seems you didn’t need protective style

Covering her hair is protecting it 🙄 #ignorant
@@blackhippierebel Since when does protecting one's hair call for adding another woman's hair into your head?
