    Super impressed. I started out, much the same way, outgrew the garage and started building walls in my driveway. Then I outgrew the driveway after putting up over 100 panels. My wife said that was enough, so after 10 years of this, I am giving it up. I've had great fun haunting and thrilled or given nightmares to many a kid, however you look at it. you remind me of my younger self with the enthusiasm and creativity that comes with the holiday. Both of you keep up the good work, but I'll be the first to warn you, you're gonna need a bigger garage because every year you will want to go bigger and better. Have fun. Your haunted garage rocks!

    Really amazing work. I've been in the professional haunt industry for 7 years, but this year I've decided to make a garage haunt. This series of videos is by far the best tutorial for home haunters.

    Man....
    I saw your video on building walls a year ago and it was funny and extremely helpful!
    Now I just watched your other videos and I love this one, especially the end!! I'm building my second haunted house ever (after years of having halloween parties) and no one quite understands the work that goes into it (and insanity).... I loved how you mentioned "lots of trips to Home Depot" hahah
    Just walking down every aisle...not really knowing what you're looking for, just scoping everything to imagine what you could make with it.
    It's fun as hell though! Please continue it for 2018!!

    Dude! you could be my twin brother!!!! As a fellow home-haunter, I can honestly say that you did EVERYTHING right!!! My hats off to ya! I have not found ANYTHING in this life as gratifying as doing this kind of thing. :-)

    You guys rock! I did a huge thing in my yard that I worked on for weeks, nowhere near as long as you guys, but it definitely was heartbreaking to take it down. Totally worth it though! GREAT JOB, I loved all the videos! Haunt on!

    That really turned out great! I was so busy with our haunt that I missed a lot of your build videos. I will have to go back and watch them all. This is exactly how our haunt started. You better start looking for a bigger property like we did! You guys made a great haunt and it sounds like you had a super turn out of visitors. I can't wait to see what you come up with next year. I also enjoyed that tear down part! Thanks for sharing.

    I loved it great detail and with the space you made it seem longer I'm looking forward to future vids from you and I feel your pain lots of money and time and it's over that quick but passion is why we do it, happy haunting!

    Welcome to the home haunt family! You two did a really nice job! The videos were also well done and kept me watching each episode of the build, so kudos on the editing (always so time consuming, too).
    I particularly related to your analogy about moving and that chaotic feeling near the end of setting up. A list, as you discovered, is your best friend in putting order to the chaos and getting things done.
    You also talked about light in your guests' eyes. If you search Allen Hopps' videos, he's got one on making tiny LED spot lights for pennies, which will put the light just where you want it. That may solve your problem.
    Anyway, great job and keep haunting!

    That is so awesome. Where I live now, we have so many trick 'r' treaters. I have been decorating our house and this will be our second year there, but we haven't done our first haunted house. We are looking to make our first haunted house, hopefully next year , so I really appreciate the time you took to make and share your videos.
    I thank you for being that cool house for Halloween. Our block is super weird and only a few of us decorate too.. Best luck for your haunted house this year!

    Videos were great! You should look at making your tunnel a laser vortex tunnel. I'm going to try to do that myself. By any chance, do you have the garage layout for your walls you can share? In 2015 I did one not very good. But people loved it. This year I want to make it better. Thanks!!!

      +Coaster Universe You know I find myself not going to the spirit store for actual shopping these days but more for just environment and checking out the new stuff. We will by stone wall stuff there and the occasional prop but I'd say most the shopping is done at HD and thrift stores. Oh and The Restore

    • @Coaster_Universe
      @Coaster_Universe 8 лет назад

      I go to Spirit for deals and for animatronics, and the other store for other little things, But I have found some really cool stuff at garage sales like animatronics, and other things that said, "I want to part of your haunted house, like when I went to a flea market i came out unknowingly with all the supplies I needed for a very cool fireplace prop. I got home and said, those will look good together, and it was only a $7 effect.

    7:14 that's a reallly good idea. M doing a garage haunt and with Covid I'm not going to have any actors. I can use your method to allow someone to manipulate my pvc dummy from a safe distance.
    Your haunt is really cool too!

    Please answer! Did you need a permit to make a haunted house?

    • @Brokmobile
      @Brokmobile  8 лет назад +3

      +-Hoghoof- No it's not that serious. If it was a bigger structure outside that was an entire haunted house and attracted a lot of people and we were charging money to go through, maybe. But this was not the case. Most of it was in the garage where you can do whatever you want.

      +sceyedoc THank you very much. Yes that was my thought to...is...well lets put it out in the yard or use the garage and the driveway. But at the end of the day, the only way to truly scale is to get a facility. But then, unless I own it, I have to pay for storage. It's an expensive hobby. But then again, so is photography.
