We don't have to apologize for buying a luxury item. When I had very little money as a student and young person, I bought only a few quality items (I still use a lot of the items, 20-30 years later) and wanting them was a motivation to work. Tired of people shaming others, in a bad economy, because of wearing a nice purse or talking about a trip but yet only work 30-35 hours a week and I work more to buy what I want.
Yes sounds like we have very similar stories. It doesn’t seem that long ago when I was an adult student and in training and having gym socks with big holes in them. And instead of buying new socks I would tape the holes; I was THAT broke. 😉❤️ So I appreciate everything I have and that I have the ability through really hard work and long hours , to purchase some nice things from time to time. ❤️❤️
Why do you assume people are only working 30-35 hours? You don't want to be shamed for buying a few lux items (and you shouldn't be, I agree 100% ) but then turn around and make assumptions of others. Most people are working over 40 hours a week and struggle. Not saying their struggle is your problem but don't assume people aren't working.

Other than Dama Bianca, I need to try all of these lol. I subscribed to you today & smashed that ole like button. You earned that subscription and the admiration and respect of a 15 year parfumista. Your story about the trainee getting married and asking your advice gave me an idea! You could do a kind of contest and the winner gets a perfume consultation with you, they send you their favorite notes and then you suggest 10 fragrances for them to try! It would be so fun to watch the suggestions even if the participant remains anonymous. Anyway just an idea! Obviously it would work much better for someone who is a beginner and doesn’t know where to start
My quiet luxury is the discontinued Givenchy Very Irresistible L’Intense with the dark purple ombré bottle, it’s breathtaking and very classy and dark and black tie ready!🖤💜 Thank you so much for the video Chris you look stunning as always! 💖💖

You really nailed the quiet luxury vibe! I would add Fragrance du Bois' Santal Complet to the list. Their packaging is just *chef's kiss* breathtaking - made me feel so special unpacking it - and the scent itself is a powdery, woody, creamy exotic sandalwood with a hint of violet. Very chic, very understated, elegantly unisex.

Wow. Slept late this morning. Grabbed my coffee (yum), turned on the TV and Boom!, there you are. What a great Saturday. I love Fig! I have a cologne I bought several years ago called Summer Fig. I think I got it from the Body Shop. (I’m too lazy to get up and look😂). I have two fragrances that I wear when I want to smell luxurious. Lancôme Tresor and Si by Armani. I can really relate to the wearing clothes for years when they suit you. I have a pair of Max Studio pants I bought in 1991 and I get compliments every time I wear them. I have several Ralph Lauren pieces that I bought years ago and still ❤️ love I think my oldest accessory that I still wear regularly is a pair of earrings that I bought in 1988 or 1989. Wow! I love the jewelry you showed. Beautiful.
Hey Lynda! Yes I was looking in my closet and I found a few suits from over 20 years ago that were splurges for me but look so gorgeous. Unlike a few really trendy jackets I bought a few years ago and they just don’t appeal to me anymore. 🤦♀️❤️
Thank you, Chris. From my mid-20's to about my mid-50's, I purchased a number of gorgeous wool suits from Pendleton. I was their perfect size 8. Then, they went off-shore with their manufacturing, and nothing was the same again. I am about to turn 70, and still have all of the suits that I purchased, and wear them today - all elegant and timeless. Regarding timeless fragrances, I wore Lauren from Ralph Lauren as my signature scent for all of those years. When I ran out of my last bottle, I could not find it again. For years after that, I played around with some scents. Then I found Bvlgari au the Blanc and it became my signature perfume. Now, I am discovering new perfumes and have not found a "signature scent" for my new stage of life.
Hi there! I’ve only made one purchase from Pendleton and it was a blanket: my mom gave me a gift card and it was the most expensive bedding item I’ve ever purchased. Probably 10 years ago. I treasure it, it is beautiful and it gets stored in an airtight zip case in the hopes it will last for years and years to come. I love it and oh my gosh…nothing traps heat like real wool. ❤️
@@ThePerfumeNest Yes, I have several. For a few years, my husband would buy me a blanket for my birthday. But the suits were (note the past tense) amazing, business elegant and timeless, and the ones that I purchased were all solid colors (which is what I mostly wear). I own a consulting business, so even now I still wear suits.
Really fun category I was just wanting to get into this vibe so I appreciate your timing and recommendations. I always find something new here ❤ great editing BTW
I have wasted so much money on trendy items and after a year or so have no interest in them. I’ve learned my lesson. I’ll buy a few reasonably priced cute pieces each year that might be trendy but that’s it and I never spend a lot on those anymore.
Aw thank you! Yes she was very grateful. She actually invited several friends to come over and have a “perfume sniffing” party. 🎉 so cute. They had a lot of fun and hearing that it was do worth it
Loving the outfit changes & combo with perfumes! The idyl jewellery really suits your delicate and elegant features and bone structure. I think their styles are slightly edgy for diamond jewellery, which IMO gives great “flavour” to your timeless styling ❤ I think féminin pluriel from MFK could be on this list, too 😊
Hi there! I agree exactly with how you see Idyl. Very timeless but not fuddy duddy. And like you say , many pieces have a classy edge to them. I love your choices. I can’t believe I don’t own Feminine Pluriel…..oy
@@ThePerfumeNest yes, not fuddy-duddy 😹 why is it that some diamond jewellery can look so dowdy? Maybe it just doesn’t suit some body types/ style types. Another fragrance shoutout: the new La vie est belle elixir could be on this list. It’s very different from the og and I think very classy. Stunning violet scent, makes me think of 1990s Chloe runway shows. I love it.
Hi, Chris! Lovely picks 🤍 I love this category. I have Parisian Musc and Santal Basmati on my wishlist. Diptyque is also a brand that fits the definition of quiet luxury; my favorite is Fleur de Peau. Sending you a big hug ☺️
Hey Chris!❤❤ thanks for choosing to do this kind of video😊 though I like louder fragrances I think there is a time and place to wear quiet luxury fragrances😊 also love quality clothing and jewelry❤
Loved this one Chris. I’m a big fig and coconut fan, so loved seeing one of my favourites, Parisian Musc. I still occasionally wear a black velvet jacket I bought in 1978! A little snugger these days but still looks good 😃🇦🇺
Oh my gosh yes! I was looking in my closet and I have several suits I purchased about 20 years ago when I started my first job and they were kind of investments and big purchases for me but they are still so pretty and make me feel so spiffy, esp since no one wears suits anymore: 😂🥰🥰❤️
Hi Chris! Looking amazing! Love your hair! You need to do a tutorial on how you style it! Gabrielle Essence is so feminine and elegant. Roja Elixir is another one that I feel is quiet but luxurious.
You are the epitome of quiet luxury, honestly💃💃. I love Dama Bianca, Pure Extreme Nectar, even the OG and was also gifted a decant of Ruby N Vanilla which is oh so beautiful 😍😍. I also love Ormonde Jayne fragrances, I just have to try more when I go to my local fragrance store😍😍. Stay gorgeous 🥰🥰
Not sure how many time I've watched this video and eventually purchased some samples per your recommendations. I am so glad I tried them. They are so incredibly beautiful. I tried Mon Ami, some Micallef, Bois Ir, Narco Oasis, Celeste, Frangipani. Some probably were suggested in other videos but nevertheless. SO BEAUTIFUL! I think I discovered my favorite fragrance house. I think I am very close to finding my dream fragrances (still exploring) but you've given me a really good direction which I am so grateful for.
@@ThePerfumeNest Micallef ☺️ But that’s based on 2 samples 😂 Though, in my defense, I ordered a bunch of other samples to explore this house in full. SOOO excited!
I also have a tendency to save things for special occasions, but I end up not using it and sometimes the product goes bad! Now I really try to just enjoy the special things and romanticize the everyday life
Yes!! I’ve made a pact with myself I’m not doing that anymore. You are right…these beautiful items will just go bad! And I’ll feel special even in jeans and a t shirt! 😂❤️❤️
Terrific video! One of my favorite categories...I bought the Gritti fragrance based on your recommendation from an old video and I adore it. I also love Santal Indien from Christian Provenzano. Have Rocca and Palazzo from him as well. I love almost everything Ormonde Jayne and Graham & Pott is also such a lovely house. These types of fragrances are timeless and never go out of style, which is why they stay so relevant.
Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for the follow up! You must have quite the collection! I’ve been impressed with everything I’ve tried from Graham & Pott and looking forward to trying others in the line. I just purchased several OJ fragrances for that reason. I tried OJ Ormonde Man and LOVE it. I am so glad I tried a masculine advertised fragrance. Haven’t tried either of those CP fragrances but I will now thank you! 🙏🏻❤️
Interestingly, I have every fragrance you mentioned, except Lakme and Jardins Etheres. I do have 2 from Graham & Pott, though. I fell in love with santal basmati, thanks to you. You've spoken of it before, so I bought it and it is one of my favorites.@@ThePerfumeNest
Oh my gosh. 🥹This conversation is amazing! I wish all my fragrance buddies lived closer so we could all have fun sniffing parties and decant swaps. ❤️Thx so much for saying “hi”!!!
Parisian Musc and Black Tie are two of my forever fragrances. I will keep repurchasing until they are no longer made. Whenever I wear either one, there’s at least one person that will do a double take when I walk by and ask what I’m wearing because it smells so beautiful. 😊
This video resonates so much, Chris! Quiet luxury really is a way of life. Beautiful choices with quite a few shared loves and some more I’m noting to check out! ❤️🤍
Oh my you have so many beauties in here & even some I had not heard of like the Choix Mon Ami. I am going to hunt down a decant of that & Juliet in White if possible. Love your content Chris & you scream quiet luxury for sure. 🥰 Great video!
Aw thank you so much!!!❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻What a lovely comment! I’ll do another decant Giveaway if I hit 30,000 so make sure to put your name in the hat for these . I know ST. Rose has a discovery set but I’ll check their website for individual samples.
Hi Chris! What a nice video! Love so much your hairstyle and make up in it. For me, a quiet luxury fragrance is Tom Ford White Pachuli! Kisses from Buenos Aires 🇦🇷
Thank you for bringing my attention to Frangipani from OJ, I have a discovery set and almost did not notice it when I first went through all the samples. It is lovely! Greetings from Sweden, I always enjoy your videos and trust your taste! 🙏
My mother’s namesake, Chris! I love what you said about lab and mined gems. Ever since I saw that old movie “Blood Diamonds” I’ve been revolted by mined gemstones and loudly educated my family. I was very young and only owned a wedding set for less than a year, but I was, as the kids say, “10 toes down” on the subject. Lovely list!… Parisian Musc looks like HEAVEN!
Ah I know. I can’t believe I didn’t know what went into mines gemstones for SOO long. But now I do. 😬 ❤️thx so much for stopping by and for the lovely note. 🥰
I loved the jewelry especially the first set. Earrings and necklace. The second and third set were also beautiful but I can see myself wearing the first set. You look so luxurious yourself.
You look wonderful Chris! My favorite at the moment in this category is Iris Paladium I am burning my way through my travel size ❤but I will always have Gabrielle Essence in my collection. Dana
Love the theme of your video today! Creed Sublime Vanille is so ELEGANT but I do wish it had more projection. Worth the money to me because there is no other vanilla fragrance that is like this. EBK Ruby N Vanilla Intense is STUNNING 🤩 and I get so many compliments when I wear this. I want to buy the one with the Neroli next! I do hope that EBK comes out with more fragrances. This house is an absolute favorite of mine. ❤
Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely comment and feedback. I wore Ruby N Vanilla Intense yesterday and it’s just so elegant and gorgeous and timeless without smelling like a dessert plate. ❤️I was thinking the same….its about time for a new release from them! 🙌❤️
I am watching this video while getting ready to Fisher theater. I am wearing Van Cleef @ Arpels Bois d’ore. So classy and won’t bother people sitting close by. I also have Parisian musk and Angelic noir. I was considering both.
Hi Chris💛 What an interesting video! Jewelry, wardrobe, and perfume! The luxury trifecta 😊 My first luxury perfume was YSL Opium Parfum. A small quarter ounce dabber of the pure parfum. Totally unlike the EDP of today. I was 28 when I started wearing it. I felt elegant! It’s no longer available. I’m hoping they will bring it back for its 50th anniversary in 2027. I’m 75 now and I still miss the feeling that wearing it gave me. 😔 I thoroughly enjoyed myself today!💛💛💛
Loved this video… i’ve also entered my quality over quantity era, well at least with clothes and accessories, so i need to revisit some of my quiet luxury scents
Hey, Chris! Yes, good ol' Cuir Beluga is an all-time favorite of mine! Many Guerlain perfumes fit in the "quiet luxury" category to me. As far as clothing goes, though, for me "quiet luxury" is not about neutral colors and Earth tones, but rather quality fabrics in rich colors. I prefer colors and love the way wool and silk fabrics in particular take color.
Hello Chris, Bea here from the UK. I recently discovered your channel through the RUclips algorithm and have been binging your videos ever since. This is a great video, as I’m currently on the lookout for a classy, elegant fragrance for myself. However, I’d prefer to keep my budget between $100 and $150, if possible. I’m excited to see if you have any future videos planned featuring more affordable options that still offer that quiet classiness. Sending my regards from across the pond! Best Bea
Hi Bea! Thank you so much for subscribing I appreciate that. Yes I make loads of videos like that . I just did one….Smell Great and offend no one. Work friendly perfumes. I’ve also done “Smell Expensive on a Budget” those might be good. I always do an affordable perfume video for each season. I’ll do one for Fall. I’m excited about my new friend from across the pond!!🥰🥰
@@ThePerfumeNest thank you Chris for such a prompt response and your suggestions. I am already collecting a list of worthy perfumes recommended by you and will be checking some of them out when I am in Italy next April. ;)
Loved this video! You look stunning in all outfits. I agree completely with Parisian musk, it’s so elegant. I just bought a bottle of Gabrielle Essence today and agree completely with your review. Others I love as quiet luxury are: Ormonde Jayne Woman Lancôme Peut-Etre APOM from MFK MFK Amyris femme Ex Nihilo Venum Kiss And Rose Supercritique from les Eaux Primordiales
Hey friend! I wore Gabrielle Essence today and just bought Ormonde Jayne Woman and Man. Woman came broken in a thousand pieces but the box smells lovely! 😂. I never got to try Peut-Etre. Sad. I thought it was discontinued but I’m not sure.
@@ThePerfumeNest oh No!! I hope they will send you a new bottle. Love my Woman. Peut-Etre has been discontinued but you can find a few left over bottles here and there still.
I’m with you. I love a great perfume at a low price but sometimes I buy something I don’t love just because it’s affordable. I’d rather save the money and put it towards something I truly love and will be with me for years. ❤️
Did you miss doing video by the pool over the Summer? We had a pool growing up so it reminds me of home. My parents spent time by the pool every night during the summer months from 1982-1999. 🏝🏖🌸
Hi there! Yes I miss the relaxing nature of the pool videos. But I don’t miss all of the complaints (ppl didn’t like the birds singing or nature sounds or me wearing sunglasses) 😂Also the cicadas were bad early Summer. Maybe next Summer. ❤️
Chris! I completely understand how you feel (in my 40s I’m in that era, too ❤). It’s just less work 😂 Perhaps, as we age, we start to spend more of our brain power on deeper questions & relationships? I know trends were super fun when I was young, but I’m interested in other things now. Wow! I’m really impressed with your ethical decisions for your jewels! My bff has made the decision. ❤ Love your picks for this video! I feel like we are moving into an era of “New Classics” and you really have an eye for them! 😀❤️ I’ll have to run over to fragrance net to see if I can find Mon Ami!
Hey Rachel! Oh yes I agree completely. New Classics….so well said and so true. I’ve got a box to send to you and your students. Anne sent a ton of samples my way and I need to pass them along as I go through them. Traveling samples. 🥰❤️❤️
Hi Chris, I think you would LOVE Musc Panache by Maison Rabatchi. I bought it instantly when I smelled it. Hard to describe but opens as a cardamon, floral beautiful musk that is stunning. I bought 12 samples of the most talked about perfumes in the last 6-12 months and it was the cream of the crop and the only 1 I bought and US reviewers never talk about it.
One I would like to add to this list, Christian Provenzano Rocca. It’s such a beautiful and elegant fragrance. I’m just careful not to overspray it because it is powerful.
Oh, I have so many elegant fragrances, almost all classic Guerlains, Chanels and many, many more. Did you ever smell Van Cleef and Arpels Santal Blanc? I think you would like it.
Can you do a video on best places to find samples? I love your perfume selection, but I have a very sensitive nose and have to sample perfumes before I buy to make sure I’m not allergic.
@@ThePerfumeNest by the way I commented while I’m still watching & you’re looking great in every outfit… tell us please how you keep in shape after 10 years & can wearing the same clothes 😩💕💕💕💕💕
Aw thank you! Well it’s definitely more difficult. 70/30. I try to eat healthfully 70 percent of the time with 30% indulgence (chips and dip are a big one). I also like to have. Glass of wine while cooking dinner . Then I try to get to my exercise classes several days a week and if I can’t I try and go on long walks. Unfortunately it’s more the food than the exercise that determines the ups and downs on the scale and the lovely hormone changes that go along with being my age. 🤣🤦♀️
@@ThePerfumeNest You’re a Lady! & Everything that word means! Thank you for taking the time and replying to everyone of us! I’m in my 30s and last 3 years I gave birth to 2 girls and I’m still carrying a lot of weight from that! I don’t drink but I’m not super active because “I don’t have the time” but I will make the effort hopefully 🤞🏽😇💕
@@Fatouma_issa yes. Our health and wellness needs to be prioritized. It has to come at the top but often times it gets relegated as an afterthought. If you don’t have time or resources to go to a gym or exercise classes, put your kids in a stroller and go to the park or a trail for a long walk. I find exercise is a mood lifter as well. I always feel better afterwards (natures true and original anti-depressive).
Oh you def need to sample both. Very expensive and depending on your taste you may strongly prefer one over the other. Samples at Lucky Scent, etc. or in person sniffing if you live in the UK
I love Santal Basmati, but at the price I didn't buy. It didn't last and was too light for the money. I love Parisian Musc, but it smells similar to Dambrosia by Profumum Roma so I didn't need a repeat. Of course Dama Bianca is there. Great suggestions!!
Oh my gosh that reply was garbled! Like what? I think I was spell checked. ❤️❤️Yes I got my Santal Basmati from Fragrance Net!!! They have the small bottles currently. I tagged it if you need a link. 😉❤️
I haven't bought it yet, but I will be buying a full bottle when I finish the decant of Matiere Premiere Crystal Saffron. it is pure luxury to me. Fresh, but oh, so special and long lasting :))) from the ones that I have, I would say - MFK GFG, but it is very fresh still and not as sweet as I liked the sample of it, so I am waiting for more sweetness to come out.
A newer one (and my priciest one ever 😅) is Camomille Satin from Dries Van Noten. I’ll give it a couple months but it might be my favorite perfume! It was a love at first sniff and it wears so beautifully! Sits close to the skin but lasts all day on skin, longer on clothes. I ran through my decant and bought a full bottle and have worn it every day for the last couple weeks and it’s working for both warmer and cooler days here
Hey there! Yes I sold a few bottles of perfume that I never wear and bought Chamomile Satin ! I agree! It’s so beautiful!!!! It’s supposed to arrive any day.

Aw!! Thank you so much! You made my day! 🙏🏻❤️
I wear my fanciest perfums at home! especially in the cooler months ! Why wait for a formal occasion! ❤️ 💃
Exactly!! I agree 💯!
And I totally agree with buying fewer, but pricier investment pieces.
I have wasted so much money on trendy items and after a year or so have no interest in them. I’ve learned my lesson. I’ll buy a few reasonably priced cute pieces each year that might be trendy but that’s it and I never spend a lot on those anymore.
Enjoyed the video! You are so kind with your decants - hope the to-be-bride appreciates how lucky she is.
Aw thank you! Yes she was very grateful. She actually invited several friends to come over and have a “perfume sniffing” party. 🎉 so cute. They had a lot of fun and hearing that it was do worth it
@@ThePerfumeNest aw that is nice.
Loving the outfit changes & combo with perfumes!
The idyl jewellery really suits your delicate and elegant features and bone structure. I think their styles are slightly edgy for diamond jewellery, which IMO gives great “flavour” to your timeless styling ❤
I think féminin pluriel from MFK could be on this list, too 😊
I love it.
Oh! And I bought Santal Basmati because of you and it’s one of my favorite fall fragrances!!!
Yay!!!! Thank you so much Katrina for the feedback!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🥰🥰
Hi, Chris! Lovely picks 🤍
I love this category. I have Parisian Musc and Santal Basmati on my wishlist. Diptyque is also a brand that fits the definition of quiet luxury; my favorite is Fleur de Peau.
Sending you a big hug ☺️
Hi there! I completely agree. I’ve had Volutes for about 10 years and many in their line are so timeless and elegant.
Hey Chris!❤❤ thanks for choosing to do this kind of video😊 though I like louder fragrances I think there is a time and place to wear quiet luxury fragrances😊 also love quality clothing and jewelry❤
Aw!! Thank you sooo much for the lovely feedback! 🙏🏻❤️❤️🥹
Hey sweetie! Hope all is well after Helene
You are so sweet thank you luv! 🙏🏻❤️❤️
Wow, your hair looks amazing, you’re absolutely stunning 🤩
Oh my gosh thank you so much!!!! You made my day!!!🙏🏻🥹🥹🥹🥰❤️
Not sure how many time I've watched this video and eventually purchased some samples per your recommendations.
Oh wow what lovely feedback thank you sooo much!!!🙏🏻❤️❤️what is your fav fragrance house?? So exciting!!
There is no better comment than “ it is sandalwood but not the cheap kind” 😂 someone else can appreciate it!
I laughed so hard! And he said it with a straight face! 🤣❤️❤️
I recently picked up black tie and it’s really a nice vanilla😊
Yes agree!!!!❤️
Awesome video, Chris. Request for Men's version!!
Thank you!!! Ok! Thanks for the feedback!!🙏🏻❤️Will do!
I loved your background stories of the origins of some of these perfumes! (Does that make me a perfume geek? 😆) Now, off to investigate Idyl....
lol aw thank you! I think I accidentally do that because I love when other content creators include back stories as well. 🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️I love backstories.
Parisian Musc and Black Tie are two of my forever fragrances. I will keep repurchasing until they are no longer made. Whenever I wear either one, there’s at least one person that will do a double take when I walk by and ask what I’m wearing because it smells so beautiful. 😊
Oh I so agree. These two are beautiful and absolutely timeless! ❤️
This video resonates so much, Chris! Quiet luxury really is a way of life. Beautiful choices with quite a few shared loves and some more I’m noting to check out! ❤️🤍
Hey there! I noticed we have very similar tastes!!!! Thx for stopping by!
@@ThePerfumeNest 🥰 that's so incredibly awesome & considerate. I will be on the lookout for sure. Have a fabulous Sunday!
Thank you! You also!!
Hi Chris! What a nice video! Love so much your hairstyle and make up in it. For me, a quiet luxury fragrance is Tom Ford White Pachuli! Kisses from Buenos Aires 🇦🇷
Oh thank you so much!!!!
Thank you for bringing my attention to Frangipani from OJ, I have a discovery set and almost did not notice it when I first went through all the samples. It is lovely! Greetings from Sweden, I always enjoy your videos and trust your taste! 🙏
Oh how exciting!!! I’m so glad you got a chance to try it! And big hug to you in Sweden!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Parisian Musc had been my signature scent for almost two years now. I think I am ready for a new me .... ❤
Wow! You have been smelling wonderful! But I know what you mean, I like a little bit of variety. ❤️
Aw. 🙏🏻🥰
Hi Chris! Love this video talking about “soft/quiet” timeless perfumes❤ always great recommendations!!!
Thanks for watching! Thx so much for the feedback! 🙏🏻❤️
Have you tested the new Guerlain Patchouli Paris?
Very classy, earthy, Aldehydic scent. I wonder what you think about it.
I love it!! I tried a sample and immediately ordered.
Yes I love it! You will see it in an upcoming video! ❤️❤️
I love it. I got a sample when I ordered Shalimar Millesime Jasmine and I was surprised to love the Patch Paris so much.
You look wonderful Chris! My favorite at the moment in this category is Iris Paladium I am burning my way through my travel size ❤but I will always have Gabrielle Essence in my collection. Dana
Hi Dana!! Thank you so much!🙏🏻❤️Is that the one from Guerlain? Or Les Eaux?
Parisian Musc is so elegant and I love Santal Basmati 🥰 You look really pretty, Chris 🤩
Aw thank you sooo much!
Your my favourite reviewer of all, you seem to have that southern lady class that's for sure.
Aw!!!🙏🏻😮🥹🥹🥹🥹🥰🥰🥰Thank you so much for saying that! Your comment made my day. I’ll share with my mom…it will make her happy. 😉🥰❤️Big hug!!🤗
Thank you for making this video Chris. Parisian Musc is a big compliment getter for me in the work place
Oh I bet!!! So classy and professional!
I am watching this video while getting ready to Fisher theater. I am wearing Van Cleef @ Arpels Bois d’ore. So classy and won’t bother people sitting close by. I also have Parisian musk and Angelic noir. I was considering both.
Oh how fun!!!! Have a wonderful time. And you are right; that’s such a fantastic choice! ❤️
Hi Chris💛
What an interesting video! Jewelry, wardrobe, and perfume! The luxury trifecta 😊
My first luxury perfume was YSL Opium Parfum. 😔
I thoroughly enjoyed myself today!💛💛💛
Oh my gosh yes Opium was amazing! Nothing smelled like it. And I agree, when I detected it on someone, I thought they smelled soooo fancy. ❤️❤️
Ambrette is so addictive to me.
Yes right??!!😮
Great video, Chris! Love the sound of Parisian Musc and Bois Iridescent, on my list to try now 😊 Looooove both jackets and that sweater is a classic ❤
Thank you so much! 🥰
Dear Chris, *you* personify quiet luxury! Great video as always! Love your scent descriptions. 🤗
Aw thank you so much! What a lovely comment!!!❤️
Loved this video… i’ve also entered my quality over quantity era, well at least with clothes and accessories, so i need to revisit some of my quiet luxury scents
Aw thank you! Yes I’ve kind of learned the hard way…
Thank you Chris! I appreciate your recommendations for non-gourmond vanillas. I don't want to smell like food.
🤣🤣You are not alone!!
Ahhh this is one of my favorite categories.
I also feel this way as I get older. ❤
❤️❤️🥰
Wool and silk….never goes out of style! ❤️
You look beautiful, as always! And, we love to see quiet luxury 💖💖💖
Thank you so much for the feedback! 🙏🏻❤️
I wear my Idyl pieces daily!
I can see why! I haven’t taken mine off since receiving them. 🥰
Love this Chris! Beautiful jewellery and perfume picks
Thank you my gorgeous friend!!!!🙏🏻❤️
Hello Chris,
Bea here from the UK.
I’ll do this video and mention your name for the suggestion ok? Thx!!
@@ThePerfumeNest thank you Chris for such a prompt response and your suggestions. I am already collecting a list of worthy perfumes recommended by you and will be checking some of them out when I am in Italy next April. ;)
How exciting!!
Loved this video! You look stunning in all outfits.
I agree completely with Parisian musk, it’s so elegant.
I just bought a bottle of Gabrielle Essence today and agree completely with your review.
Others I love as quiet luxury are:
Ormonde Jayne Woman
Lancôme Peut-Etre
APOM from MFK
MFK Amyris femme
Ex Nihilo Venum Kiss
And
Rose Supercritique from les Eaux Primordiales
They are going to send me a replacement! Yay!!
@@ThePerfumeNest yay!! 🌸🌸🌸
I usually click onwards on outfit/jewellery content from perfume creators. It never sits right. Feels forced. But you did this very elegantly 🤗💕
Aw. Thank you so much! What a lovely thing to say!! 🥰🙏🏻❤️🥹
You Have Perfect Hair!!
Aw!!!! Thank you sooooo much! Simple curling iron trick!!🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh, Chris, I love this video. I plan to start adding quality and quiet luxury scents to my collection.
I’m with you. I love a great perfume at a low price but sometimes I buy something I don’t love just because it’s affordable. I’d rather save the money and put it towards something I truly love and will be with me for years. ❤️
@ThePerfumeNest Yessss, well said Chris 👏 👍 👌 🙌 💯 🥰
Thoroughly enjoyed this. I’m at a similar age, so can relate. You’ve made me want to purchae a quiet vanilla.
Thank you! Well it’s not for everyone but I realized there are many vanilla fragrances that are gentle and timeless and don’t smell like food. ❤️❤️
Oooo, I wish I could get my hands on a Tester of Cuir Beluga. 🤗
Yes it’s not easy. I can’t remember where I got mine. Fragrance Line? I think I googled “Cuir Beluga sample”
You look stunning 🤩 Love so many of these too-I really want to check out that Jardin(the brand is totally new to me) excited to check it out❤
Aw thank you!!! 🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️Graham and Pott is very expensive but I am glad they finally offer travel sizes. ❤️❤️
Love! Have you had a chance to try Fragrance World Intro Ivory Musk yet? Decided on best Musk Therapy alternative?
I have it! It’s good. I’m letting it oxygenate . I’m going to do a head to head with all. I should do a video of the spray off! 😂
I love Ambrette and I love me some Parisian Musc. Yes to Cuir Beluga!
Yay!!❤️
Great Video Chris 😍 Happy Saturday❤ Lovely Fragrances 😊
Aw thx Judy!!
@@ThePerfumeNest OK. I understand. Thanks 🙂🥰
Maybe next Summer!
Cuir Beluga: love!!
Yay!!! Right??❤️
Ok off topic but your eyebrows are perfect. ❤
Omg thank you! It takes me forever to do them! Thats why I can’t film a GRWM! That and the eyelashes. It would be a 2 hour video. Lawd! 😂❤️❤️🥰🤦♀️
Love your picks for this video! I feel like we are moving into an era of “New Classics” and you really have an eye for them! 😀❤️
I’ll have to run over to fragrance net to see if I can find Mon Ami!
ps - I agree with you about Gabrielle, there is something a bit harsh about it. I do really like the Gabrielle body wash & lotion ❤
Hey Rachel! Oh yes I agree completely. New Classics….so well said and so true. I’ve got a box to send to you and your students. Anne sent a ton of samples my way and I need to pass them along as I go through them. Traveling samples. 🥰❤️❤️
Oh I’ll send a decant of Mon Ami along…
Really? Oh the body products I’ve tried from Chanel are so luxurious.
@@ThePerfumeNest Wow! Thank you SO much! ❤️🙏
Ruby n vanilla and Dama Bianca are both loves for me.
Have you tried Black Tie?
@@ThePerfumeNest I believe so but I can’t remember my thoughts on it.
I can’t imagine you not liking it!!!!
Totally agree with Parisian Musc!!
Yay! Right?
I still have never tried Cuir Béluga, and I need to get my nose on it!
I may know someone! 😂❤️😉
Oh wow, so many for me to test out in this group! Thanks!
Thank you so much for stopping by!!!!🙏🏻❤️❤️
My favorite Quiet Luxury perfume rn is Parade by Celine. So divine. So many compliments. 10/10.
Oh my gosh I love that one also. It’s on my FB list with ZouZou
Stuff I will definitely have on my list for when I start working 🙏🏼❤
Hi Alicia! Thx for stopping by! I was the exact same. It wasn’t that long ago I only had 2-5 perfumes. I loved them all
Gorgeous choices!! ❤️❤️
Thank you luv!
Oh my gosh you are right! I tried a sample and loved it!!!❤️
One I would like to add to this list, Christian Provenzano Rocca. It’s such a beautiful and elegant fragrance. I’m just careful not to overspray it because it is powerful.
Oh ok thx. I’ve never tried that one. ❤️
Oh, I have so many elegant fragrances, almost all classic Guerlains, Chanels and many, many more. Did you ever smell Van Cleef and Arpels Santal Blanc? I think you would like it.
Yes! I know you have such great taste in timeless perfumes. I have!!! It’s really nice. 🥰❤️
I love this video. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for the feedback!
@@ThePerfumeNest a pleasure! 🥰
Can you do a video on best places to find samples? I love your perfume selection, but I have a very sensitive nose and have to sample perfumes before I buy to make sure I’m not allergic.
Sure. I do list in the description box where I buy many of my samples. I need to update the list. Thx for reminding to add a few places on there.

féminin Pluriel by MFK is one of my Quite Luxury 💞
Yes! Oh that’s a fantastic choice!!!
Chris Have you seen the New Lancôme Absolue Les Perfumes?
They look so good!!!
Not in person but I’ve seen them on line! They do!!
Hello, please advice : Lakme or Turando ???? than'ks very much
Oh you def need to sample both.
@@ThePerfumeNest I hadn't tried Fragrance Net!! I'll keep an eye out for it.
Fresh, but oh, so special and long lasting :)))
from the ones that I have, I would say - MFK GFG, but it is very fresh still and not as sweet as I liked the sample of it, so I am waiting for more sweetness to come out.
Oh yes Crystal Saffron is so amazing.
Such a SUPER video. Wow!
Thank you so much! 🙏🏻❤️
I have 3 favorite quiet luxury perfumes that I love and that are all very different: Byredo Mohave Ghost, Guerlain Spirituese Double Vanille and Chloe Nomad.
Oh my gosh I agree! I used to own Mojave Ghost. So pretty as are the other two! Nice picks!
