One of the greatest sides of all time. A team willing to make sacrifices for each other and suffer for the manager to win matches. Give Mourinho other team like this or his first Chelsea side, he’ll do it again.
Inter players sacrifice a lot that time not just cause of mourinho, but the major thing is for the sake of the club, the fans, and owner. Its the emotion from an interista that i cant describe it.
This Inter team would do anything to win everything in 2010. In motivation perspective, no team i ever see that really want to win everything like this Inter.
Mentally extremely tough, disciplined approach, highly cohesive, physically strong, players who all brought something positive to the whole on top of the basics at that level, be it pace, guile, passing ability or s**thousery. If this team were a car, it would be a modern-day 4 x 4.
I loved this team. Especially after Mourinho masterminded their victory over Barcelona. People criticize for playing "anti-football" in the second leg. The way I see it, he had to, that was peak Barcelona, no team on the planet could hope to beat them playing normal football, he was brave enough to implement the anti-thesis. The results speak for themselves. Mourinho may have lost his touch recently, and may have been exposed due his tactics over strategy M.O, but that season was a tactical masterclass, executed to perfection and a treble was the result
I think Motta getting sent off early made a drastic difference to how the send leg went. Inter, with Motta on the field, could have easily tied that match. They would have had at least 25% more possession which could have translated into a handful of deadly attacks especially with Barca chasing into the final quarter. Also this " Anti-Football" Propaganda I see came out from a lot of sore losers who think scoring a goal and assists are the only part of football..
You speak right out of my mind. I just don’t get it when people slammes Mou for playing like that. Look at United trying to play ‘normally’ they got passed to death. Without Barcelona United might’ve won another 2 UCLs haha I just gave away the club I support
@@colouredIncognito it is not common knowledge because man marking works only in very specific circumstances. Oh boy I just so wish that Mourinho comes back to his best again. A successful, competitive and cocky Mourinho is something that the football World is so dearly missing. Inter 2010 got players with defensive solidity at high level and offensive flair even the player is in defensive position. Zanetti can defend but also good in attack. Maicon. Chivu. Cambiasso, Motta and Stankovic. These players are kind of hybrid players which is very rare these days. It is like having 6 Spinazola and Jorginho. Mad team.

He went almost 4 years without getting a yellow card. He scored a goal dribbling from his own half to score from open play at Bayern. I know Samuel was built like a brick
The 09/10 Inter team was vintage Mourinho both attacking and defensively. I’ll never forget the semi final 2nd leg against Barcelona I found it so frustrating watching them “park the bus” but it worked so effectively. The final against Bayern they just outclassed them from start to finish.
