I am a REAL BREEDER and the photos stolen from my website have been used to scam people, now I put the link of my site on all the photos. These scammers have to be stopped. People have to wake up!
I've never bought a dog before and looked online this month. I knew right away it was a SCAM and I've never owned a dog. FIRST off, they said they'll ship. I knew right then, not to send any money.
Gena Sutton some breeders do ship but it is expensive, it’s like an overnight shipping. I know a few people who have got live pets miles away from real breeders but if a “breeder” asks for money right away without giving any shipping info than it is a scam.

I’m confused as to how people get scammed by these things. Never western union money to anyone.
Even smart people get scammed.
Startrek1965 I don’t think it has anything to do with being smart or dumb but typically if someone is asking you to western union them money that’s a huge red flag. Breeders or people professionally sell these dogs don’t ask to to be wired money.
I’d also ask to to video chat with the person so I could see the dog in person. That isn’t asking too much at all.

When I rehome my maltipoo puppies , I only ask for $50 (non refundable)for deposit. Why? Because last time I had them on hold ( no deposit) everyone purchase other puppies from somewhere else. At lest give me a heads up so I can find new homes 😞.
Ya ask the dog or puppy owner to meet the dog or puppy in real life and if they say no it might be a scam

This happened to me today. i was so exicted to get a dog and i paid 700 Dollars for Him. Once I paid the money they stopped responding to me! I am heartbroken
I was also scammed trying to buy a puppy online, they tuck $2000 from me but I got my money back with the help of a hacker called hacksting_ on Instagram with just a little fee. You can hit him up if you want your money refunded.

Never go on line or puppy mills, Best way, go to a no kill shelter, for they have puppies and grown dog, fixed and shots.
Actually you should go to a kill shelter, that way a puppy or kitten doesn't loose it's life and you save it.

@@JamesJiansen Exactly. The last dog my family and I adopted for almost $400 😑, was a pit bull mix and bit both my children and broke skin. They claimed he was good with kids, and my kids were always gentle with him. So, no thanks. Cats and kittens, maybe, but no dogs from the pound.

You can still get scammed from the shelter hun. My uncle adopted a sick dog once, they never said he was sick, battling kennel cough, parvovirus and he had problems with his liver. He was only 5. So, not only did he have to spend the $400 to adopt him, but, within 2 months he'd already spent $13,000 to help the dog. The dog still died. So, no. I'd rather a healthy baby pup from a responsible breeder.

Their were excited and noticed nothing and they made that family to pay more that is really ridiculous better to go to the breeder inperson that takecare really well or shelter and ask person that if dog is healthy or not and if they give that real paperwork for dog shots and rabies shots and checkup to see if dog is ok both did made a really big mistakes they really need to do some research first if dog seller lied for not sending a puppy but to scam for more money’s from anybody that wanted a puppy and already paid for fully but they want more money’s or if they sell sick puppy and that seller never answer the phone to complaint that their puppy is sick or not sending that puppy just to leave out messages that they not respond on the phone like for example we not answer the phone or if they switch the phone number all was answering machine that they don’t respond to anything

Luckily.I knew a friend who knows a seller.He buys puppies from breeders (Cavapoos, cockapoos, golden retrivers and pomerians) Well its all I saw.Then he sells them for a lower price.That's how I didn't get scammed. Located in Ireland.
