I love it when MP starts walking in circles on stage. It's like he is building up energy. And Billy is looking at the audience like "This is how you play bass."

@Malcolm Mathias thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I actually didn't like Faith no More when I was a young teenager but now they are the best band in my opinion to be around in the 90s to now 2019. I know that they were a band in the 80s. I was a little too young then. this gave me fresh new music to listen to and for that I am thankful because everything I'm listening to these days sounds like shit. I just hope they can put out at least one more album as Faith no More. We could use another mr. Bungle record.
I was 15 years old then. I saw this on MTV. This. Precisely this performance. AND I DIDN'T LIKE IT. I am so sorry about this. I didn't understand the part at 3:57 - "what's that?", I thought, "he just mumbles something and then goes crazy". I was so silly. Now I see it as one of the most wonderful rock performances ever. People grow up.
I don't blame you lots of these live performances have bad audio mixing so hearing this first before hearing the album version would definitely give you the wrong idea.

LOOOOOVE this super DRAWN OUT rendition of the song! It's maniacal! It's fitting Patton wrote this song while experimenting with sleep deprivation hence needing caffeine.
wartched this great performance in 1995 here in Croatia on tv, a month later i was in Sydney Australia and went to see them live at two shows, it was brilliant, but the best faith no more concert ive been to was in lljubljana slovenia 1993 for the angel dust tour.
Definitely a lot of inspiration from Faith No More in the world post 1997. I love System, and they're very different too though. Their rhythms are a lot different.
Faith No More don’t get he credit they deserve. What a band. Sad that Big Jim wasn’t up there with them. Still, what a band, what a song, what an album, what a performance. Chili peppers SUCK

There is a bunch of good advice in the song.. like it's wise to just forget the glamour,, quietly mumble f****** Jackhammer under your breath.. as you as you live on earth you'll see that the world does expect a pose what does expect you to look this way. This way to say this thing but reality you just need to f************ loosen up man.. sometimes it's better to be unsaid it might be so close right there better off your tongue almost no sweet talk caffeine sometimes better not to say that thing that was like right there it would have felt great to say it but you know how many times I have made contact with somebody that they're only making contact with my neck.. and there's no reason to fast and say things when you're already f****** being taken down anyway so no reason to confess in quicksand.. and like Layne Staley says so it's these are how I spend my days trying to feel better so I guess it's really not infection it's not a phase.. probably not going to go out of it.. and you if you have to say to somebody you got something to say to me say something say anything probably a bad thing you're in anyways if it's so easy for them you're suffering and there's always one thing always one thing.. look I'm warning it seriously I'm warning you. Never seen em live but I think I’d get frustrated by Patton straying so far off..just sing the songs straight forward with some harmony like on the albums
Mike Patton is a fantastic performer but god, he has to be one of the worst singers alive in a live setting. His album recordings are great but he just can’t replicate it on stage. It’s like he doesn’t even care to do a good job in almost every performance, he just yells incessantly into the microphone without much regard for his tone, vibrato or strength. You can tell that he’s just completely gassed himself out 90% of the time.
