That part about knowing when to accept the fact that they are going to stay manipulative and to just say “Screw this!” and walk away is something I wish I had known YEARS ago. I don’t want to make the mistake of jumping to that with people I already know “IF” the reason they are manipulative with me is because I haven’t set the boundary correctly before….and as soon as you SET a boundary, people seem to come out of the woodwork to try to break it. Even people we’re close to or want to be close to. Once I’ve hit my threshold, I’m somewhat “rude” or an a-hole with how I reply back at that point. I’m really trying to fix that. I’m working on how to improve the way people perceive how I communicate from the get-go so I can avoid a lot of this later. Your videos really are helpful. I even listen to them while I’m driving. I appreciate them a lot.
