Great video! One thing to note is that some of the "useless" modules are there to give you crew stations. Ships benefit from the highest skill rating of any crew member stationed on the ship including you, so while later on it's not really important, early on it can be very meaningful to have someone with level 4 Energy Weapons crewing the ship. However, you will generally have enough crew stations between your bridge and actually useful modules, so in practice I agree that things like the Computer Center aren't really useful.

every time i'm tempted to get SF (when i don't want to but i want to - coz gaming addiction), i am grateful for videos like this which really put me OFF it! 😂 (FAR too big a learning curve for me!)
