@@smshahidurrahman5957 - Go to Thailand to learn Thai. You can get a student visa if you enroll in a Thai language school. The cheaper way is to get a Thai girlfriend.
Already speak 3 language fluently but I am adding this one more language into my list I am just tired learning it how long is it going to learn this language god uhhh! 😭
I'm half Japanese end Filipino but personally focus on studying thai language. My FIRST language that I learned isbisaya (2nd tagalog) (3nd English) (4th Japanese) (5th Korean) (6th a little bit thai)
Thanks so much, teacher! Right now, I'm using Ling app to study the Thai language but this video also helps so much as I can use these for more practical uses as Ling only allows me ton learn the words and not put them thoroughly in many different context. The words taught here will surely be helpful! Appreciate your thorough and clear teaching :)
I wish these words had some order to them.. Like time-of-day first, then months, then numbers, then seasons, etc. The random order makes it really annoying to study. I wanted to go 4 words per day, gradually just continuing to watch the video (for automatic rehearsals too). But having "afternoon" and "air-conditioner" in the same day makes no sense.
Born in Thailand, also half Thai, but knows little Thai. I am starting to learn Thai today on ward. I have learned three languages so far and i am fluent in two and beginner in one.
It would be helpful to make it clearer as to if te word was a noun or verb. Like cook, could be an action or a person. Saying "to cook" instead would show that it was about the act of cooking. That would make these great videos superb.
Hello. Sa wat dee khrap. You're missing that there's no tense in Thai. There's no saying "I'm going to cook today ". Just I'm cook. Or I'm gum lang cook. "Phom gum Lang tum aa haan khrap. "
I have found a lot of this series to have many unnecessary words but this is a good selection. I just can't understand why the writing is so small. It is not friendly to a small screen.
You start with long words like air conditioner. And you dont separate letters or sylables to help learners. I am a language teacher. This is not a good way to introduce basic words for learners. Choose single or double syllable words. Like eat. go. There are many to choose from. I find it useful for learning Thai script by guessing the letters. Also you could make the fonts bigger. Yes this is critical. But I am a language teacher and give this advice to encourage you to be more systematic. Leaners need all the help they can get.
Well I'm bl fan but I'm not here for bl. I'm here because I want to live in Thailand and to get a job there. But I'm not sure if it will happen one day. But I love Thai language so recently I can learn it. Hope my wish become true one day 🤲
it would be great to know which word is most commonly used among synonyms, for example the word "eat", which is more commonly used by Thai: "gin" or "thann" ?
I've learned alot from Thai pod 101 . Phom rean Thai mak khrap. "Riian " . The hardest part is thai pod spells everything so different from my true Thai fiancee , and the books I read. Example : I thought eat is gin. And dog is maa. And that's not what this lesson says. Too many dialects.
But what I love about Thai. Is how words are direct descriptions. Instead of just sounds. Example , student is "nok riian" . Directly translates to English as "person study" . In English "studying person " .
RaNdoM- -ThoUghTs Gin and Maa are to eat and dog. But they are informal ways to say it. Th o es presented here are slightly more formal. So people might say Maa to a friend but use Sunak in a story they were writing for school. It’s like the differ nice between saying eating at a restaurant and dining at a restaurant, one is just slightly more formal.
@@Illianor123 yeah that makes sense. I've only been practicing informal. Until I've mastered that. Because atleast I can be understood. I'll move onto formal when I've gotten better.
I dont get it, why are some vowels missing when written? I recently watched the ALL THAI ALPHABETS but there were missing consonants and now vowels are not even written in some words?? How is that?
ฮาไม่จํากัด Funny unlimited Ah, yes right. The untrained Farrang ear overheard that :) I noticed in some other vids that from time to time there are mix ups.

I already know two languages fluently, but it's hard to get the hang of Thai when you don't have Thai friends to practice speaking with.

RaNdoM- -ThoUghTs Oerhaos a better way would be to add (v.) or (n.) to specify if it is a noun or a verb. Also for adjectives, adverbs etc.
I'm half Thailand. I couldn't speak English at first, but I was very fluent with Thai. Now that I'm studying abroad, it became the opposite.

Kin
Gin is casual language and taan is formal
What a random set of words.. would love to see words like "but", "or", "maybe" instead of "airplane" and "april" lol
so good
Why if freeze so long in thai? Would be good if you can breakdown

Right?!?!? I'm soooo confused 😄😭
Thai writing is probably the most complicated writing system ever
I've watched on some videos that the rule of thumb in Thai if there's no vowel is to use 'O' as vowel.
yeah
