    As a tourist in Thailand, this video is really helpful! Thanks so much, teacher! Right now, I'm using Ling app to study the Thai language but this video also helps so much as I can use these for more practical uses as Ling only allows me ton learn the words and not put them thoroughly in many different context. Appreciate your thorough and clear teaching :)

    thank you for doing this , last time i was in phrom phong bts area a local lady was selling iced tea . i always love iced tea when made local and especially when i see the cart with carnation cans. i tried to ask her iced tea she didn't understand she seems little aged and didn't understand anything other than thai, her friend helped me that you should say chai yen in thai for iced tea. and when i asked her how much she said saam sip -30 baht . it was a good learning .but this video helps a lot better to understand all the numbers .

    What about Zero? When they call the waiting number, they usually say for example number 205, they would say two zero five, not two hundred and five right? I learned this the hard way. After know almost all the numbers but zero. 5555555

    Hi Opal,
    Why does Thai sound like Cantonese ?
    Many numbers are pronounced almost or exactly the same !
    In Cantonese:
    3 = sahm
    4 = say
    6 = lok
    7 = chard
    8 = pahd
    9 = gao
    10 = sahp
