    I like how you used the measured/known numbers to figure out the numbers you want to know

      I agree. Started in 1987 with car audio. Set stuff the old way for years. Works today just like it did then. Is it nice to have? Yup. Absolutely necessary? Nope. To this day I only use an oscilloscope, volt meter with amp clamp, paper and pencil. I use dsp now, but for basics, all brain power. Young people need to keep this stuff going or it will go away. Not everyone has money for high level testing equipment.

    Have you seen the Jag35 Lev60s. Just recently changed my setup from 3 of the LTO 6.0s to a 148ah Lev60 and the difference is remarkable, they are extremely cheap right now. Only $300 they hold power, and can be ran with your current battery. I am currently running a JP83 at 1.6ohms and a JP23.4 all channels loaded at 2 ohms. I have a 370 amp alt. If you have any questions just ask.

    @Ptakcaraudiochannel- My guess is your around a 148Db, if/when you can clamp 2k, @ 37Hz!? Meter in the pass. kick, and drivers door open!

      Yes sir I’m going to this weekend, and this isn’t a review on the amp it’s just showing what it’ll safely do on my electrical without clipping. If I could rev it and do the test could prob get another 500 watts out of it but this was just a recording before I build a lithium bank to show how much the lithium helps when I get it in. I wanted people to know when I meter it that it’s doing a 148 at around 2,200 watts and not 5,000. Amp still has another 2k-3k in it

      @@ptakcaraudiochannel2675-Oh i see. Yes batteries in the back, right by the amp will make a BIG difference, can't wait to see. By the way i liked the way you Raw Dogged those subs on your unboxing video, too bad they didn't spawn more subwoofers😂🤣

    @Ptakcaraudiochannel- Why did you set your LPF so low, @ 45Hz? Most use 80Hz, 100Hz, or 125Hz, as there LPF= Low Pass Filter set point. You are losing a lot of bandwidth. Do you have strong mid-bass speakers, that cover 40Hz, and up well?

    • @ptakcaraudiochannel2675

      It’s set where it barely starts cutting about 50hz, all I listen to is rap and the box is tuned pretty low

      @evilinside5984 6 месяцев назад

      @@ptakcaraudiochannel2675- I have 4-18s tuned even Lower, and Listen to modded, re-bassed, and slowed music, shot out to my boy Dj Russticles, and i run my Lpf @ 80Hz. There is a lot of musical content above 50Hz you are missing, and those VFX are very musical, and capable to do it. Give it a try sometime, it really helps to tie into your mids and highs=without a gap.

      I’ll change it to 80, I know these subs sound great with that higher punch. I need some more midbass 100-250

      @@ptakcaraudiochannel2675- Im sorry if i seemed pushy, or like a D**khead, i really want people to maximize there audio systems. I know most people don't know this, because its not tested very much, but a crossover can reduce the Db output of freq. that are very far away, from the intended set point. It varies greatly with the slope/Db per octave(6Db, 12Db, 18Db, and 24Db per octaves are the most common) used in the crossover setpoint's. I have seen tests, and done tests, showing the effects on Db loss, depending on all of these factors. I have been a car audio champion, and competitor, for over 30 years, testing many things audio related, with a Car audio Team.
