I did Helm Crag a lifetime ago (40 years) with my friend and my dog. I used my Canon A1 that my father had bought me as a 21st birthday gift. It snowed heavily as soon as we climbed the crag and upon our return to the car, we’d forgotten to buy a car parking ticket so had to pay a £60 fine. Months later, a crazy ex-girlfriend threw out all my slides!
My knees are now shot, my friend recently had a stroke and the dog long gone. All I have left is the camera and memories of the occasion.
Keep up the excellent work; I now live vicariously through videos like this.

Thank you so much for commenting.
I know what you mean by a lifetime ago. Occasionally I come across people doing a coast to coast walk and then realise I did it in 1980, 44 years ago.

The dog walkers are better off letting the dog shite on the edge of the path and flicking it away so that it can rot rather than putting it in a bag then leaving it hanging off a branch or fence so that it does not rot so easily and the bag looks unsightly hanging there, maybe they think putting it in a bag makes them environmentally friendly and that a shite fairy comes and takes it away and why do peple throw their plastic drink bottles on the ground as the bottle weighs next to nothing when it is empty, it,s a lot heavier to carry when it is full so you would think they would have the strength to carry it back to the car etc and then they could dispose of the item in in the bin, remember mum or dad are not always there to clear up after you and would be more proud of you if they knew you was doing your bit to keep this country of ours cleaner. Better still take it in a reusable container, saving on the waste. You go to enjoy the walk and scenery so leaving no waste means that when you go back, it will still look as nice and not an eyesore with rubbish everywhere.
