Using a slip solution would be super helpful for shaping polygel! I think you can sub alcohol for slip. I’ve never tried using base gel but slip works for me!!

Hiiii Cutie!! Im so happy your trying out polygel again!! There definitely is a learning curve, but I think its also much harder to do a whole 3x long nail in 1 "bead" or squirt of polygel. Try using multiple beads and cure inbetween, just like you did after the 1st big syuirt.. but yeah i love poly gel, so happy to see it❤❤

I applaud you, you have taken the time to acknowledge all your commenters, and you made so beautiful nails. I sadly don't have a good recommendation for a keyboard that's compatible with long nails, I hope you find a way to connect a controller to your PC
I will say the Rosalind polygel formula is VERY sticky, as is Modelones. I struggled with it a lot until I found a firm formula, and now polygel is my favorite thing to use! On Amazon, the AIMEILI Hema free is firm and Long Hair Pretty Nails has a polygel that is also quite firm. To me they are easier to shape and isopropyl alcohol works fine for slip. I've used forms but never tips for polygel, I wonder if that would make it any easier? If I practiced more I could probably shape them quickly and not have to file much, but some days I use tips. In fact, I now have a set of Una Gella tips on with my usual pink sparkles. But they are SHORT cos I thought that would be smart for summer and it's taken like 3 days to get used to it. Not that I go super long, but I like medium length. Ha! It's so easy to type, though. :D Your nails are a cutenss explosion!

My fingers are all crooked. Susie from NCE taught me the knuckle trick. But I use the knuckle of the finger I’m applying the tip. I turn my hand to face me and line it up that way. Not saying your way doesn’t work, just another option to try! It’s the most straight my nails have ever been and I have 🐒 fingers. Just used my tipex tips and they cut down nicely for anyone that needs to know even they sell short now! Lol I can’t sculpt nails. I stick to using the gel X tips with my solid gels and my very rare use of all my wasted money on polygel (even tho I keep buying🤦🏻♀️) videos make it look soooo easy. Ripped my first nail off. Luckily I use solid gel so it didn’t actuary hurt the nail but the pain and burning almost made me throw up! Love your video again 🫶 the rhinestones really finished the set!!

Hear me out- what if you made your own keyboard caps from acrylic so they are extra personalized? You could add glitter and even use your new charms in a more permanent way! Of course, it's a lot to make a keycap for...every letter...but it could be a really fun side project while you hook up a controller or something!

Awwww nooo!! You can easily remove them by clipping off the extra length and the charms on your nailbed, filling down most the polygel, and then soaking the rest off with alcohol!
I saw someone glue marbles with one flat side to the key caps to play with longer nails XD maybe having a spare set of plain keycaps and a stack of two each would do well for longer nails!
If you struggle with sculpting polygel you might want to do this in multiple layers. Here it would be much easier, on such long nails to do it in two layers. And it also ensures that the product cures all the way. With one layer you have a lot of product and it moves all around too much, especially when it is hot and it is more liquidy... Edit: and as soon as I wrote this comment you exactly did that. Great minds think alike! :)
