Hey girlie! Many things can cause heat spikes, like thin nail beds, mixed products from different brands, it’s a chemical reaction it’s normal. But an easy and fast way to alleviate the spike is alcohol, just spray it on ur nail and it’ll cool it down so fast! Hope it help you!!💕💕💕 also! Using lost of monomer and acrylic can cause it too! Especially if ur using bigger beads or lots of beads on top of each other:)
Also the heat spike could be from excess monomer, usually. Polymerization is happening rapidly from placing a wet bead onto another wet bead with excess monomer.

The heat spike comes from the chemical reaction we know as “curing”. When there’s a lot of product whether it’s gel or acrylic it can produce a lot of heat. Try putting a fat bead of acrylic on a paper towel and then feel it as it’s curing, it’ll get hot. The chemistry of nail products is sooo interesting!!!

If you’re feeling a lot of heat with acrylics, it’s most likely due to the bead being too wet. You’ll also get lifting a lot quicker. I love the colors you got ❤
Acrylic can cause heat spikes when it’s too thick so I’m guessing the first layer of acrylic wasn’t fully cured while u were putting it on your natural nail but u can spray it with alcohol to cool it down a little bit. Love the set as per usual!

i love explore with us , it is horrendous but i feel it helped me be more aware of the dangers out in the world instead of being as nieve as i once was and just trusting people and being so forgiving. I used to get heat spikes with acrylic when I got them done. She told me to push my finger on the table. It did help. Also, love crazy people crimes😂😂😂😂
You should try Tickled Pinque Cosmetics they have amazing products both polish and acrylic. Their acrylic is also 2 in 1 you can dip them. They also have great brushes and monomer. They have award winning products their clear was labeled the clearest clear. They also have gel paint and Gelato.

I've heard of this brand (mostly because they do a lot of PR) but haven't tried them. I'm curious how quickly you applied the nails with the ombre with a new wet bead? With the monomer releasing heat as it cures, if the nail was not fully cured/set it may have been why there was so much heat. I wonder if you would have a different experience if you let them fully set first and then attached? As usual this set came out cute and colorful! Love the kawaii style! :)
Yeeee, I think I had too much curing on my nail too quickly?? It was so weird cuz I never had it happen before, but from what I'm hearing from everyone, it's definitely because the beads were pretty wet and curing fast 😭💖💖
@@AnneElizabethNails I used acrylic wayyyy back like maybe 10 years ago? Didn't love it then, but that was mostly my own technique and not the medium. However, I never had the heat problem. I will say I look for bonded monomers when I can because they have less heat to them, but are always more expensive. Hope you are well
Hey just letting you know you should prep your brushes by getting all the gum out with your fingers other wise you could wreck your brush if you put it into the monomer without getting the gum that holds it together when its packaged if that makes sense 😂. I think there is videos on how to prep your acrylic brushes before you use them. Ive been binge watching your videos all week lol
This is called an exothermic reaction. This basically happens when your Nail tech just laid down a bead that's not dry yet and then lay down another bead right on top with excess monomer, it's the acrylic powder and the monomer meeting and heating up !! Hope this Helps!! 🌻🌻🌻
Lol, you get a noticeable heat spike from the acrylic and monomer, which is called an exothermic reaction because it puts off heat. The chemical reaction is polyemization. It's supposed to happen, or your acrylic wouldn't dry. Also, when you get a new brush, you need to clean the glue out, and it's normal for your brush to shed hairs it's the first time you're using it.
I will say when I do polymer gel art the glow In the dark gets really hot when it sets so maybe it's the glow in the dark acrylic? I gave my mom some normal nail glue for press ons yesterday and she burnt a hole in her arm chair I don't know how! Be careful! ❤️🧡

Call and tell the company that the brush is shedding and that it’s not what you thought it was going to be and they will send you a new one or a refund. Those brushes are to expensive to shed

If you get a heatspike from Arylic it's usually because there's a good bit of Arylic and if you spray alcohol on your nails that are hot

Glitter is my serotonin-booster of choice as well. Along with anything sparkly in any way. ❤ I watch that channel “explore with us” too (gosh I might spend a little too much time in this app) and I think it’s super interesting too. They always employ “the reid technique” lol. But last time I watched it was about a kid who killed and chopped up this poor homeless man and I couldn’t get it out of my head for days…so I’ve had to take a break from heavy, sad stuff like that….so I watch your vids instead ❤😊

You should try Tickled Pinque Cosmetics they have amazing products both polish and acrylic. Their acrylic is also 2 in 1 you can dip them. They also have great brushes and monomer. They have award winning products their clear was labeled the clearest clear. They also have gel paint and Gelato.

usually you'd need a primer made specifically for acrylic. I think that one was made for gel, which could be causing an unwanted chemical reaction

I've heard of this brand (mostly because they do a lot of PR) but haven't tried them. I'm curious how quickly you applied the nails with the ombre with a new wet bead? With the monomer releasing heat as it cures, if the nail was not fully cured/set it may have been why there was so much heat. I wonder if you would have a different experience if you let them fully set first and then attached? As usual this set came out cute and colorful! Love the kawaii style! :)
Yeeee, I think I had too much curing on my nail too quickly?? It was so weird cuz I never had it happen before, but from what I'm hearing from everyone, it's definitely because the beads were pretty wet and curing fast 😭💖💖
@@AnneElizabethNails I used acrylic wayyyy back like maybe 10 years ago? Didn't love it then, but that was mostly my own technique and not the medium. However, I never had the heat problem. I will say I look for bonded monomers when I can because they have less heat to them, but are always more expensive. Hope you are well
Hey just letting you know you should prep your brushes by getting all the gum out with your fingers other wise you could wreck your brush if you put it into the monomer without getting the gum that holds it together when its packaged if that makes sense 😂. I think there is videos on how to prep your acrylic brushes before you use them. Ive been binge watching your videos all week lol

This is called an exothermic reaction. This basically happens when your Nail tech just laid down a bead that's not dry yet and then lay down another bead right on top with excess monomer, it's the acrylic powder and the monomer meeting and heating up !! Hope this Helps!! 🌻🌻🌻

Lol, you get a noticeable heat spike from the acrylic and monomer, which is called an exothermic reaction because it puts off heat. The chemical reaction is polyemization. It's supposed to happen, or your acrylic wouldn't dry.
Also, when you get a new brush, you need to clean the glue out, and it's normal for your brush to shed hairs it's the first time you're using it.

I will say when I do polymer gel art the glow In the dark gets really hot when it sets so maybe it's the glow in the dark acrylic? I gave my mom some normal nail glue for press ons yesterday and she burnt a hole in her arm chair I don't know how! Be careful! ❤️🧡
