Am I the only one who bawled their eyes out when they finished the book. I was inconsolable.😭
Kate T yeah the end got me. I want more of Vivi. She was so inspiring and kinda reminded me that my mental illness isn't anything to be ashamed by
Finally someone who would understand. So. I read this book more than a year ago, and it is the type of book that always shatters me each time I read it. I've reread it so many times now, and I think I can totally vouch for the 'bawling my eyes out' part.
I have a mental breakdown each time I think of Jonah and Vivi and how they, despite being polar opposites of each other fit so perfectly. Theres nothing I want more in this world than to know that they did meet each other again. I'm sorry for this hasty comment, this is by far not all I have to say for the book, but I just quickly need to go, the waterworks are too close.
I finished when we collided in two days.
It was that good.
Definitely my favorite contemporary book.
I loved this story! It didn't only make me cry in it's sad parts but just because it was beautiful. Jonah is my favorite character, he's so kind and sturdy (like a tree 😉) Fell in love!
Her energy is contagious
ITS PURPLE UNDER THE DUSTJACKET GAH SO PRETTY
+LovingDemBooks Yes!! =D
You should really read all the bright places! I'm so surprised you haven't. It's such a beautiful book and gives you a insight on mental health as well
Yeah that book is really nice and id love to see a booktalk about that book
this is my favourite book ever wow wow wow wow i'm so in love with all of the characters AH i read it weeks ago and im still so in love i havent been able to read since AH
I completely agree with everything that you have said in this video. It's always amazing to me when you have an author who can create really vibrant characters who mostly take up the background...
AND THE SCENE AT THE LIGHTHOUSE AFTER VIVI'S BIRTHDAY, THE WRITING WAS JUST SO PHENOMENAL.
I still dont know if I liked this book or not. I have such mixed feelings about it!
I adored this book so much as well! definitely had very similar thoughts to yours- the ending was right so although usually I wouldn't be okay with something like that, I was happy with it in this book. I did want more at the end about Vivi's life & friends & dad and that sort of stuff if you get what I mean? But definitely an amazing book (:
For book suggestions I always come to you 😃
I've been waiting for someone to post his book talk. I read an arc back in December and oh my it's amazing
Jonah's family reminded me of the family in My Life Next Door :)
Whenever I finish a book I always get so exited to watch your book talks you are my favorite 😍
Your book talks are SO GOOD!!!
AHHH CHRISTINE I LOVE THIS BOOK AND I LOVE YOU AND I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS :D😂😂 sorry to bother you but I screamed when I saw you uploaded❤️❤️😂
this book wrecked me so much i'm still recovering. i swear i cried more than while reading TFIOS and believe me, i cried for like 5 hours.
honestly, i DON'T agree with the ending. part of me was so mad at vivi for her decision to leave Verona Cove. and yeah, i get that she was doing it for herself, to get better, but back in Seattle, her friends didn't give an F about her. like she was always thinking about what she had done to amala and ruby etc but ruby was the only one who cared maybe. she left Seattle because she was depressed there and everyone turned their back on her and then she chooses to go BACK when jonah's whole family, him included, gave her a purpose in life? i honestly disagree with the ending because why would you go back to something terrible if something amazing was RIGHT in front of you???
If you like books that focus on mental illness, I strongly suggest you read Kissing Doorknobs. It's an easy read because it's so great. It's about OCD and it's the best bool I've read in a long time!
I am over here dying waiting for a book talk for Life and Death!!!
I just finished reading this book a week ago, I loved the writing style so much! (:
Just finished reading this and I AGREE WITH EVERYTHINGGG

I just recently read "All the Bright Places" by Jennifer Niven and it seemed to have the same effect on me as this book did on Christine. So if you're interested, give it a try, its an excellent book!

You probably get a lot of book series suggestion but I think you should read the Naturals series. The first book is called The Naturals. (Go figure) 😄

Christine, have you read the Trylle Trilogy yet? It's good, ( just saying)
Have you seen the "A Torch Against the Night"-Cover-Reveal?
Just wondering, do you read classic novels like stuff by Ernest Hemingway, F Scott Fitzgerald, Edgar Allan Poe, William Faulkner, Mark Twain, or Jane Austen?
I would like to read this book, but I live in Lithuania, so I have to wait 2 maybe 3 years or buy this book online.
Can you do a hula hoop video? I just got one and I really want tips and tricks?
I bought this book but haven't started it yet....
OMG HI CHRISTINE.

The Siren by Kiera Cass. Please.
please read red queen! PLEASE!
i love u so much
please read All the bright places by Jennifer Niven & do a review :)))
You have to watch a show called SUPERGIRL. The name is kinda stupid but if you give it a chance i think you'd like it. The main character is hilariously awkward and AWESOME. Its a cbs show, so its not on Netflix but theres a RUclips channel called superkara that has episodes in playlists. Kinda weird to watch a show on RUclips, so i got it on amazon. So, just watch the show. I dont care how but watch it!
I love that show!!!!
You should read Remember To Forget by Ashely Royer 😃
can you do a video about book recommendations for those who's English not their first language ? 🌚 I love your videos 💖 >> sorry for my English 💔

IM SO EARLY.
No spoilers or anything, but l'm in a reading slump right now, and I need a contemporary. Do you think this is the way to go or do you think it's a little too sad for reading-slump-overcoming?
+maystify id go for something a little less serious for a reading slump escape. it sounds weird i know but, me before you got me out of my last one! have you read that yet? =)
+polandbananasBOOKS You think? I (also) accidentally watched the trailer and I was scared that it was going to have a 'sadish' vibe in the end and throw me into another slump?
+maystify YOU WON'T KNOW TILL YOU ACTUALLY READ IT =P
+polandbananasBOOKS OKAY!!! *rushes to library* i'll check it out! thank you!! XD
Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum is a new contemporary that is perfect for getting out of a reading slump!! :) then go read When We Collided because it is really good!
When I was second comment
Am I the only one who hated Vivi?
There were times in the book where I'd be like wow Vivi that was rude what the hell i hate you, but then she'd do something super nice and amazing and completely Vivi and I'd be like aw okay ily, I had super mixed feeling about her character but loved her overall
As someone who is very close to someone that suffers from bipolar disorder, that's how they make you feel. Bipolar disorder isn't an interesting character trait and it's not likable or appealing. I think that's part of what makes this book so good.
i didn't hate her, but i hated her decision to leave Verona Cove. and yeah, i get that she was doing for herself, to get better, but back in Seattle, her friends didn't give an F about her. like she was always thinking about what she had done to amala and ruby etc but ruby was the only one who cared maybe. she left Seattle because she was depressed there and everyone turned their back on her and then she chooses to go BACK when jonah's whole family, him included, gave her a purpose in life? i honestly disagree with the ending because why would you go back to something terrible if something amazing was RIGHT in front of you???
