"Attention is currency" the most relatable words I've ever heard.
It's narcissism.
@@blk_liesonly to an actual narcissist. Every relationship we have is (ideally) reciprocal in the sense that both individuals practice give and take of themselves and their perspective resources constantly. This is healthy, necessary even unless taken to extremes. All is currency in life. Give and take. The word currency does have a negative connotation attached. There is much overuse of the term narcissist as of late. It makes it harder to know the ‘genuine article’ when you meet them.
@@melissaharris3495 I don't need to be an alcoholic to act like one. I wonder what the audience is after when they seek a video full of labels like influence, control, power, gain desires and manifestations, manipulation of others, underlined with a handful of cash, attainuated by short takes of hollywood made-up ideals. Nothing wrong with all of this but what is the general aim here, given all of this condensed into one video? Some kind of modern brainwashing feminism comes very close to my estimation, not to mention the possibility of getting the book wrong.
"all is currency in life" - quite objectifying, but only taken to extremes ofc
@@melissaharris3495 Someone doesn't need to be an alcoholic to act like one. What's in for you? - power, control, influence, cash sounding more like modern feminism

I read this book when I was 13 and god it helped me sooo much.
Good on you!
Same .. reading. It’s so important.
Like how

when the video talks about how being silent and not speaking as much can be good because you don't risk loss, I disagree on this part because rejection is something you should learn to face. If everyone is silent or even too afraid to talk first or be vulnerable with someone, you wont face rejection but instead be safe with the walls people put up. Rejection is something you should learn to take if you want good confidence. Let your walls down and be human with me
I do not agree because actually oversharing can be very dangerous this is because we humans only know our thoughts and intentions but we dont actually know anyone elses so we rely on their words and actions to tell us whats in their head or what they’re true motives are. So when you overshare too much of your life not only are you giving too much of yourself away but people may misunderstand your intentions this is why we must think before we speak
@@obeyme7588 yes this part is true thinking before you speak, and oversharing can bad if you share the wrong things to the wrong people. Society is contradicting because you are expected to be yourself to build true connections with people by putting yourself out there, but at the same time not being too much of yourself or you can come across as weird. It can be risky and so i can see how you think. I feel that not being secretive doesn't necessarily being quiet, but filtering what you say and what you don't in a way that doesn't "overshare" our vulnerabilities but make our strengths shine.
this is not about not speaking up or being afraid of rejection. I think it's more of strategically shuting up so you can benefit from the situation. You are silent about your intentions so nobody can sabotage you and you can achieve your goals more easily without other people's intervention.
@@xxgachaflamexx626 yes exactly always be yourself but just be careful of what you say
@@alice-yw8jiyeah I got that too idk where they pulled that from 😭

FOURTY-EIGHT LAWS OF POWER, LITTLE GIRL ON WITH A BIG MOTOR ON A KID THO (MHMM)📢🔥🔥🔥
girl this is gENUIS
hope it's helpful 🩷
This is all from a book called laws of power. It was evil genius. The video is well edited.
I love how you explain these laws in your own words and with your own examples instead of just quoting the book. Most other videos I've seen that talk about this book are not this creative unfortunatelly
I really want a part 2 now 🥰
tbh i would read “all abt love” by bell hooks instead because playing a power game ends up hurting u in the long run rather than the other way around.
The Laws of Human Nature by same Robert Greene is an even better social dynamics 101. I’d suggest reading it before moving on to laws of power.
In a simple sentence: To follow all the laws naturally, make yourself and other people feel free combined with adding some authority to your life and others
I have used this book for 20 years successfully
This channel is so helpful to me as a girl who is very shy, has had many rocky past relationships and most of them being my fault, and has been a very great and huge annoying big mouth oversharer 😅 I'm becoming very self aware. And I am planning in changing for the better and want to become a better person.
How exactly are you planning to do that? im dealing with same so im curious
Please bring more of psychology stuff!! Lots of love from india 🇮🇳💗🎀

I love the way you edit your videos. They really are millions-views worthy, I just feel like people don't care enough about leveling up and embracing their femininity. YET! Xx
i simply loved the way you compiled this video! all the most important laws were explained so nicely and the clips used in the background literally embodied the law being talked about at that particular time. as always, commendable efforts! POP OFF QUEEEEN
Love how the Miu Miu shoes were an example for "positive purposes" in the use of money😂

You're videos are so helpful and I love them keep up the great work
Hey I appreciate you sharing the 48 laws of power. It's so helpful to me. I love it that it says 'Court attention at all costs'. That's so true. People in your life bring about opportunities. My friends describe me as naturally charming and likable, and my friends bring about so many opportunities and blessings in my life. I understand it's important to network and attract opportunities in this life.
PLEASE do all laws !!!
UR SO UNDERRATED WHAT i love ur videos
Thank you for this amazing content Now I'm on my way to read the book yayy
Robert Greene is the man! He’s among the most impressively intelligent, insightful people on the planet IMO.
I enjoyed your work on this for so many reason. You shared a real life resource we could revisit on our own. The pop culture visuals were relatable. It’s cool to see what a channel could look like without the owners face. And I loved the call to action. Very open ended and inspiring. ❤
I love this channel 💞
I’m in a play where I’m a lawyer, and this video is helping so much with my character work 🎀🌊✨
Thanks, you're genuinely so helpful 💋
so i found your channel yesterday while i was doing my makeup i lovedddddd the videos you made they are nat too long yet leave a Empact on the listener. this year i'm trying to gain confidante and be more bold. i'm looking forward for more such a content. love you gurl 💅💋
Personally, I think this book IS bad because it literally instructs and encourages people to act in a malicious manner.
With that said, yes i have it and yes I read it. Primarily to protect myself from people that use these sleezy tactics.
There are more positive ways of coming into a position of power.
With that said, I do think there are bits and pieces of this book that are legitimately helpful, even for the most well meaning of people, but those parts are few and far between.
Lowkey it nauseates me when ppl say this is a "good book" and that it generally gives "good advice".
Yea, it's fantastic advice for narcissists and sociopaths that only pursue self interests. I either imagine that A) the person making such claims haven't actually read the book, or have only read a very small portion of it, or B) they are straight up a * holes
its a people eat people world. Its not my fault that the next person is a people pleaser that will do anything for me. you have to look out for yourself. You can not control how people use the information at the end of the day.
Yayayaayay she posted!!!!!
ayy i'm earlyyyy 💖💖 thank god i found your channel you're amazing!!

maybe i should get this book. this video was inspiring!! THANK YOU
Girl you're amazing, i love your videos, love u from Iraq 🇮🇶🎀
glad i found your channel! 🤗💗✨
Oh, I kind of hate the first one... in my first job, I was pretty overlooked by my supervisiors, but I still took my time and did some effort to get knowledgable in the job. I was not the fastest so my numbers weren't best, but my knowledge was something the team I was part of could used very well, also networked to get more core info, most of people recognized that including my friend, but my boss didn't and he kept on playing favourites with my friend, denying me the oppurtunities even when I asked for them for him... I was not even trying to outshine the manager yet he lacked the human touch when communicating with those people I worked with, stood up for the wrong goals and overlooked something that could been put into a better use, I had a good skillset for my position but I could be better if I was allowed to be paid for doing my thing, but I wasn't beacause this person failed to recognize it. Made me feel like I was triggering something in him without trying. Sometimes thinking I should have tried harder to get what I wanted but if I was demanding it who knows if the manager wouldn't start seeing in worse.
This is real channel of building up 🍀🎀
This motivated me to finally end something that wasnt good for me and just bought the book!!
You wouldn't believe but i was reading this book today. And you make video on it. Did manifested it ?
I love that omg 💛 how are you liking the book?
@Yourgoodwitch I disagree, it's primarily manipulation tactics with only a little bit of actual good advice.
For example, one of the "laws" is to do kind acts for others to get them to lower their guard, so that you can take advantage of them and they won't expect it.
That's a d * ck move if you ask me.
I do think it's a helpful book though, so that I'm not naive and I question EVERYONE'S motives.
stunning video, stunning editing
Robert Greene 💚
Actually he wrote another book, way too similar to this is called "The art of seduction" and talks a lot of things about history and the big seductor of all time like Marilyn Monroe, Cleopatra, Cassanova
I love this channel
This video is perfect omgg ❤
omg I'll definitely finish my paperback I'm almost halfway through it
Thank you so muchhh
7:02 - You know, I have a deep need for authenticity and a deep need for power through influence. I find myself strategically creating my public appearance to make it gain the most public power; rather than being authentic. But that’s okay because I have my close people in my life to be authentic with 🙂
We need IT GIRL JENNIE KIM lesson video 🫴🏼

The sound is so annoying!!!! Too much affect 🙄
that clicking sound makes the video kinda unbearable to listen to
please stop using so many sound effects. I understand you are trying to make your viewers engaged but it has the opposite effect of becoming distracting and annoying. literally could not watch this video because of them.
Can you do one on the art of seduction🥹?
it's easy. Dress, esp. short or open-back. Then go to a night club ;)
