I see this ship almost every day cuz im from irvine and even got to go in it once. It is such a beautiful thing but it's been stting on that slip way since 1992 and left to rot and it's in a really bad way now:(
My God there are so few real clippers left it would be such a shame for yet another of these rare ships to pass into history.I cringe to think what future generations will think of us for letting these priceless vessels either rot as has happened with the clipper Ambassador in Punta Arenas or by fire as has happened poor old Cutty Sark.
it was shipped to Adelaide,South Australia years ago,was semi restored and i believe has now been lifted out of the water and is on display at the South Australian Maritime Museum on land. saved by 🇦🇺 👍 ruclips.net/video/98CSqdQgu7A/видео.htmlsi=sh4P8n7tCspvquhu
