Viral pandemics and now he's a climatologists. He really suits being on gbeebies. Mainly because, like the others on that dreadful program...and this island He's full of shit!
But there’s no ambiguity; it’s not about opinion, it’s about the facts. Neil Oliver has been captured by the GB news deadheads, there’s another fact
@@walestrails9603You don’t seek a bricklayer for a heart attack. Why would you consider the opinion of a GB presenter trained in archaeology over a scientist on climate change?
@nk-gp1ml To be fair you could say exactly the same about Chris Packham.
@@northwestcoastYou need to watch a real climate expert in Paul Burgess. You might not be so dismissive if you were aware of the facts instead of swallowing the incessant propaganda.
To bad our politicians don't talk this reasonable.
What's that thing? Stratospheric aerosol injection. Weather modification. Patents dating back decades. Volcanoes pump more into the atmosphere than humans ever could.
If only Chris was labour leader, I'd be a bit more optimistic
Why, this is as dumb as asking for mick lynch to be leader. He's a specialist, a good communicator and talking on a subject where he is expert. This does not translate to party leader. He'd be a fantastic environment sec I imagine just as mick could be transport sec.
I'd go with Mick Lynch as well, over Keir@@Grandude77
@@buster6093 Keith isn't on my list of desired Labour leaders but nor is Lynch or Packham. Mick, in particular, seems to be doing a sterling job where he is.
Politicians are only bothered about the companies that they sit on the board of and there own pockets.
There should not be any conflict of interest to be a Politician so they can start doing what's best for the people of the UK and the UK herself
Much respect for Chris Packham, glad he is with us to speak up! ✊
Brilliant interview
If only we were sent some kind warning.
Well done Chris, keep up the good work.
Tories should be dragged out of parliament, kicked up the arse and sent to do some community service for the pain they've inflicted on decent people for the last 13 years.
Chris Packam is deluded. He should listen to real science.
Go get them Chris. You are absolutely right.
He’s like the malfunctioning robot at customs in total recall. Addicted to the boiling planet cult. Sad really.
Top Man! You are spot on! Keep preaching the word Chris!✊✊✊✊
What about the mini or small ice age , well it was from 1645 till 1750 where the Thames regularly froze as did the English population ,no cars or factories too make it go away though were there .The planet itself decides it's temperature we can as humans mitigate it ,but we cant stop it .This is just different groups than before getting their foot in the door to make money from it.
If you're over eighteen Vote Green ! for a future. Full stop.
Keep going Chris we are all behind you mate 💪
I live in a safe labour seat. My protest vote is to vote entirely got the greens because truth be told they are far more aligned to my views than the other parties
I don't however align with them on their anti nuclear stance but they seem like an actually progressive left wing party
I hope those in safe labour seats also do the same because it indicates the very reason we didn't vote for them
Anti nuclear power or anti nuclear weapons? Just curious.
Chris packing a punch there, well done mate.
Wonderful Packham. Our Comical Ali-like MPs must be extremely well-paid and frightened.
What a brilliant man.
Nothing but sense.
Yes, we must destroy the economy and speed up the de-industrialing of the West.
Tomorrow belongs to China
Chris p for P.M❤❤❤❤
Climate protection is like housing - we ALL want it but only when it is 'APPROPRIATE'; ie no extra cost or any inconvenience to our privileged, car-littered-streets, air-package-holiday lives.
I think that's too easy a leap.. I drive to work.. if you turn around to me and say you can't use your car any more, use public transport instead, you over privileged £%. my commute goes from 50 minutes to 6 hours.. and the cost goes from £30 a week to £97.. sorry for the inconvenience.. Id happily take ubi though and stay at home..
@@Ma55ey I think that the 'easy leap' is that 'need to drive to work' is extended to 'need to drive to pick up a packet of crisps.'
@@DavidGrayOK probably still less polluting than the amount of carbon produced watching RUclips and having pointless conversations with strangers on the internet
Good man. We need many like him.
i'm tired of tories that perpetually lie
Aye the truth hurts but corporate greed will not let the changes be made but it won’t bother them sitting in their air conditioned ivory towers 😡😡😡
Proud to share an island with Chris Packham.
Maybe not this one though !
Nobody is denying climate change, how could you? The climate has been changing for millions of years
Politicians hate intelligent, educated people calling them out on their BS.
He speaks very well
Theyre in serious denial
We need people like Chris Packham in the HoC making a difference. The politicians who are climate deniers aren’t just insane and dangerous, they’re also delusional and thick as two planks.
Why even mention the reform mayoral candidate, they have less credibility than Lord Buckethead.
Because polls show 8% would vote for those pillocks.
You should know by now that these astroturfed, hard-right pressure groups masquerading as political parties are always given outsized influence by the absolute fucking demons that work in British media. Farage was never off the telly in the 2010's. His party never won a seat.
Chris is such a fantastic bloke. Gets the point across perfectly
The only problem is that the issue he is referring to will not occur for one billion years when the sun becomes sufficiently luminous to occasion the gradual loss of earth’s water into space.
Well said.
Answer me this mr packham , scientists recently discovered a Great Lake once ran through the Sahara Desert 250,000 years ago, also the the three largest rivers in France completely dried up in the 14th century, was that because of to many Range Rover or to many Worcester boilers 🤔
Well said Chris say it has it is
Why didn't we listen to James Lovelock 40 years ago?
Chris Packham for Environment Secretary!
They don't look like the experts that live in Wetherspoons!
Yeah CO2 emissions need to be reduced but the Government will only address this if they can do it but it doesn't reduce corporate profits.
What a fantastic man Chris is. On point, to the point and eloquent to the end.
Chris Packham. ❤
Please Chris, stand for election, why the country and the British Isles needs an empowered environmentalists, who can debate and bring the young and old with them. As an ex fisheries officer and sports diver, the change in climate is very real. Sadly too is waste management in our rivers lakes and coastal waters. Aside from gobal issue's we have National ones, UKs largest lake, Lough Neagh this years now has 83 miles by 100yards wide up to 8inch thick blue algae. 20 million fish live here, and it is dying fast. We need people like Chris to help funa and flora now.
What a damning indictment of our parlous state.
Chris Packham would be a brilliant MP. Would love to see him stand as a Green Party candidate at the next GE.
Such a wonderful man
Yes mate! Chris you're a legend🎉
Chris Packham is a golden human being. X
What a marvelous man Chris is !
Weirdly Margaret Thatcher has been the only PM who looked at the Climate Reports and was starting to seriously act on them. But then she was ousted.
Lol more Thatcherite myths. She wouldn't do anything that would in any way hinder or harm economic growth. To be fair to the old witch, she'd would have done Brexit either.
Wonder why he doesn't mention the Green Party and Carla Denyer when he says he can't find a politician to vote for
Did anybody from the Green party come out to speak to him and the scientists?
@@oldcremehelian3708 good point, they should've been there. Still, I think the Green Party's policies align much more with what Chris is advocating for and they have pledges that will make a much more significant difference in the climate emergency we're in.
@@ariendb Thanks for your response. The greens are the best party for the job by far but they have a mountain to climb in order to get the nation on side.
Hope Kier engages positively with Chris -
So eloquent
I certainly think remote working and public transport should be supported more less cars
Big respect to Packham, top bloke
It's not the climate it's the blaming of vehicles, gas etc.
Spot on
