The current climate is not ideal.
The current average annual surface temperature of Earth is suboptimal for plant growth.
Warming is initially beneficial and cooling is detrimental.
Spending trillions of pounds of taxpayers money trying to prevent small and largely beneficial changes to the earth’s climate is lunacy. More poor people will die from hypothermia because they cannot afford to heat their homes in winter.

Glueing oneself to a door or pavement, slow walking, blocking roads, marches, sit ins are all forms of protest and a form of political engagement that is a key part of a functional democracy. The authoritarian response to political engagement is to criminalise all forms of protest other than putting a cross in a box every five years, requiring ID to do so preventing at least 14,000 people to vote and refusing to engage with unions who are on strike. That is not democracy that is an authoritarian regime and is far more inconvenient than protest.
You conveniently sidestepped a 'habitable planet' perhaps you don't find towns being burnt down by wild fires, or drought or one third of a country such as Pakistan being flooded.
If you think a few minutes of being disrupted in traffic is a problem you fail to understand the severeity of climate change and food disruption and mass migration it will cause.
By the way, it is not a question of whether it is legal or not, it is a question of whether it is right or wrong. Segregation was 'legal', apartheid was 'legal', currently mass extinction is effectively 'legal'.

It's not the first Time it has been this hot in September. I can remember it as a kid back in the 50s. And in the 70s. We are coming out of an Ice age, also the Earth has been a lot hotter then it is now. The sun is getting bigger, it's north and south poles are changing and so is ours. The moon is moving away from us and that has a big impact on our climate. The Earth crust moves all the time, we never stay in the same place. We move. Afrika is spliting.
