This one surely has some of the most challenging drum parts on the Magma album.
That intricate double bass rhythm really takes some time to get used to and surely requires some crazy balancing, always switching the lead between left and right foot.
Also they put in some very weird subtle tempo changes of around 2BPM sometimes, which really makes it hart to add a click to..
In case you're wondering about my setup:
I'm playing this on my "custom" E-Drum Kit. Don't mind it wobbling all over the place. I've built a noise isolation platform to ensure that my neighbors are not annoyed by my playing. The wobbling is actually desirable as some of the energy is absorbed, instead of going directly into the floor.
I'm using my Roland TD-9 Module as an interface for all the pads, but just to translate the hits into Midi. This then goes via a Midi Interface into my computer and there I'm using Superior Drummer 2 for my Drumming Samples.
This makes for quite a lot of options I have when it comes to choosing and editing sounds for individual drums and cymbals.
And I got pretty close to the original drum sound with that.

Nice cover!! I'm planning to buy an electric drum too, but, as a guitar player, I'm not familiar with that. What do I need besides the drum itself? (I mean, to make the sound). Is a computer enough? Thanks!!
Hey, thank you! E-drums come with a drum module that already has some pre-installed sounds on there. I'd say, for the beginning they are more than enough for practicing. At some point, you might get a little bored with the module sounds as they mostly sound very generic and most of the times they don't come close to a real acoustic drum set. Then you might look into so called Virtual Drum production studios that you can use on a computer. They come with huge sound libraries that sound almost like real drumsets and you have plenty more options for mixing and mapping the sounds etc. I use superior drummer by toontrack.
There are other products on the market, just google around and you will find plenty Information on that;)
