It's up to you really. If you get a US number, you'll need to go through A2P verification process. The fees are different for each country, but Phone and SMS are powered by Twilio on the backend, so you can research Twilio pricing per country to get an idea of what the costs will be - Chase

no, that is incorrect. Their "old" business number functions as normal. This new number forwards to their existing business line and allows them to send text messages (as well as record incoming calls).

Thanks Seth! Yep, calls and texts cost money (fractions of pennies in the US) but we have a walleting system built in so that you can pass those charges on to your clients. You can even mark it up to turn it into a profit center! - Chase
Hi I have a new number setup forwarding to my personal cell. But when people call it I have that caller ID setup where I don’t know who it is yet , only until I answer and listen to the whisper message. Is there a way I can see who it is displayed on the phone ? Or remove the forwarding and use the mobile app?

I just got a verified phone number. I'm testing it from my personal phone and I can send texts to the new business number (I see it in the conversations panel) but I can't send a message back to my personal phone. I'm assuming it's because it's in the middle of the verification process?

Twilio says this in regard to MMS in UK "Converted to SMS with embedded URL". Have you tested it out? - Chas
