Kudos! Grand Funk Railroad was the first band I ever saw in concert in 1971 before they added Craig Frost in 1972. To this day, they're my favorite band with Mark Farner.

Farner's a great musician, good guy AND a deep felt Christian - there wasn't that many of them in old rock bands.

They were Gods here in Flint. Now Farner is the only still here. Frost was huge member to us.

Even Prince idolised Mark Farner as a singer! Don Brewer's singing style reminds me a little bit like Cher, but super cool just the same

Don Brewer I wouldn’t want to be you. What you did to Mark and the group Grand Funk Railroad will land you in hell. Repent and make things right before it’s too late.

As a drummer for 53 years, I cut my chops off of Don and Jon Bonham and Rick Cobb of Bloodrock. Fuck Don now. Greed broke up GFR. If he gets his shit together and checked that huge ego of his under control, GFR can shine again.

@@austinteutsch As a 70's drummer, I was on to the best - Baker, Ward, Paice, Mitchell, Jethro Tull's Barlow and Corky Laing.

No…he didn’t…his ego when they split was out of control…they did not like him…..his doing.
