And yet Kirby is unaffected... Does this mean either Morpho is disinterested in possessing Kirby for his strength and power, or is it because he can't? Does that make Necrodeus even stronger than Morpho Knight, as he was undeniably the closest villain to actually killing Kirby?
Both themes for morpho are fire and even have a meaning Star Allies' Morpho Knight theme is mysterious because of how we knew nothing about it the first time. Forgotten Land's Morpho Knight theme is literally "this mf is back!?"
and i love how his theme in forgotten lands fits his association with fire during the boss fight as it sounds beautifully elegant but also powerful and destructive like fire and morpho knight, heck morpho knight even acts like fire since fire can also symbolize Punishment which morpho knight is both a symbolism as a reaper as well as doing this to those who seem to be the worst of the worst (galacta knight and fecto forgo)
I wonder which entity will be next! It would be really sick if meta knight got hit next and became like corrupted morpho knight. Now THAT would be an insane concept
The fact I'm more unnerved by a butterfly rather than whatever cosmic horror this series throws at me says a lot about what it's like being a Kirby fan.

But at the end of the forgotten land fight, the soul forgo thing can be seen escaping, and it technically has to survive in order for the final boss of that game to make sense, at least according to my understanding.
Morpho Knight is the perfect super boss. The ambiguous morality + the destructive brutality of his attacks + the mysterious nature of him/his powers. The fact that we can pop off just by the mere sight of a butterfly is awesome. The 2 themes we've gotten have been awesome too!

Morpho isn't a guy. Most text simply uses "it" but there's evidence it's actually female, such as its original Japanese name being *Barufrei,* which is a pun on the words for butterfly and valkyrie - and as most people familiar with Norse mythology should know, all valkyries are women.
You also have to acknowledge they inherit some power,ability, or representation of the victim, for example the forgotten land version sends out ghastly faces of soul forgo.
Morpho was the first kirby character I heard of thanks to a theory video. When he showed up in Forgotten Land (aka my first Kirby game) it made me FEEL something
We have two specimens so far and got me wondered: Will they... - keep changing styles for his themes? - use different leitmotifs for different character he possesses or games he appear? Only time will tell.
I love it so much that the orignal kind of just them trying to figure out what they wanted the boss theme to be like but kind of got the general idea of what they wanted from it with the motif while forgotten lands pretty much became THE morpho knight theme I think some would say the forgotten lands motif carried it the most while the theme itself repeats the morpho’s own motif but I’d say it fits perfectly with him if they were to bring him back again to use this theme and also a call back to forgotten lands
