I wish everyone in the world had the respect, kindness, and protective care taking of animals that you and Camera Lady do for the animals of the world. Life is so wondrous on this planet; we are a treasure house and it's a shame all are not in love with it.

These room tour videos are so much fun! Odin is such a handsome fella, I hope we get regular updates! Interesting observations re: Theraphosa’s and substrate moisture. I was always told to keep it damp at all times! I like that you experiment, because we shouldn’t be doing things a certain way, just because that’s how they’ve always been done.

Hi Dave and Camera Lady 💙💕🕷️ Hope you’re both well.
Brilliant to get a New Beastie Room tour video! I’m with Camera Lady on this one…Bloom is a stunning Tarantula, the males are gorgeous, with the shades of purple. Plus that wee green male too, he’s so cute! Ohh, and Odin the Bullfrog he’s a handsome little guy, he suits his name. Thanks so much to you both, another great video from my favourite Channel!
Take care and have a wonderful weekend ahead 💙💕🕷️🥰😘xxxx

Had a rough week and this was a nice bit of zen to get to enjoy. I absolutely adore seeing the sand spiders! Which is something my formerly arachnophobic self never would have expected. But it is incredibly hard not to be delighted watching their wiggles into the sand. Also very relieved to see in the comments that the girl who had the phorid flies is on the mend.

Aww I remember when my bullfrog was still a baby
Variety is the spice of life, he gets 3 fluffs a fortnight, a box of either locust, crickets, dubai roaches or morai worms a week.
And the odd garden worm or moth that strays into the house
For anyone interested, males when they reach maturity and start croaking are pretty loud.

Great stuff Dave & Cam lady. Won't make it to the end of the video (gotta sleep 😆), but I feel like reacting to your point about the Theraphosa spp: I don't keep any T from this genus, but I've been keeping a C versicolor for more than a year. It's supposed to be a moisture-dependent species, but at times I let her go for a month without any misting at all, and she's doing perfectly fine. My way of gauging its need is, how the plants in its enclosure look like. If they start looking weak, then I water. I also fill up her water bowl once in a while, and everybody's happy (including her isopods amd compost worms buddies 😅)
    Cheers guys!

Would you please tell me the proper name and common name of that stunningly beautiful spider that lives in the tubular piece of cork in the screw top tall plastic cage? She had bright golden stripes and dots on top of rich dark brown legs, I think the time stamp is about 42:30 minutes into this video? And you lifted the tube out of the jar. And from earlier in the video, I have a question about the male spider in a shallow box you opened up (maybe a curtain web of some type) who has extremely long spinnerets, he is missing one of them. Will that effect his ability to survive or mate?
I really enjoy your waking around the room tours! Thank you.
