    Hey kiddo! I do my wings the same way! I will have to try the green beans again in the AF…I crave them when i use my 3 qt Instant Pot (zero min in a basket over a cup of water) …I love both of my “toys”!!!

    Good to see this. We lived in Scotland for 6 years and the grocery stores commonly carried packages of already-cut bacon lardons. Good for putting into scrambled eggs or baked beans etc. now I know where to find some I can cut up into Lardons!

    Just FYI: You need to stop using metal cooking utensils in your airfryer because you are going to ruin it. I had to replace my first one because no one told me to use only silicon to protect it.

      Not necessary true about metal utensils. I’ve had my air fryer for years and use nothing but metal utensils and my air fryer is still going strong. No scratches or anything.

    I’ll certainly give the green beans a try, I bought a vortex air fryer 5 days ago so far not impressed with an air fryer,,I have a 3qt Gowise, bought 3 yers ago, use it but not much, I’m have a hard time with the potato wedges and the corn starch, don’t see any feedback. I want to see a hamburger patty in an air fryer
    I have 4 instant pot pressure cookers that I love and use daily.

      Same as green beans. Add parmesan cheese at the end, a little balsamic glaze, bacon or the crispy pork she made.

    I don’t have an Air Fryer, but I thought the whole point in it being an Air Fryer is to cut out the oil. Is it necessary to use oil?

    • @abbylynn8872
      @abbylynn8872 Год назад +1

      You are using significantly less oil than stove top or oven. You don't have to use oil, but you won't get the same browness or crispiness.

      @@shericarey8602 Thats good! lol But have you are any gotten sick? //"ARE GREEN POTATOES SAFE TO EAT?
      Although chlorophyll is a natural plant pigment that is tasteless and harmless, the green of potato tubers should signal us to be aware of another substance that is forming inside tubers. This substance is known as solanine, and it forms when any part of a potato plant is exposed to light.
      Solanine is a toxic substance that is produced naturally in potatoes and other plants to aid in resistance of insects and animals. Solanine is present in all parts of the potato plant, including the sprouts, roots, leaves, flowers and fruits.
      Solanine has a bitter taste and can cause stomach symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea if you eat enough of it. If ingested in large amounts, it can cause illness or even death in extreme cases. Because of the bitter taste, most people do not eat enough to get sick. In addition, consumers always should avoid consuming sprouts.
      Small tuber sprouts contain the highest levels of solanine to protect new growth and provide solanine to the growing plant. If tubers have sprouts, remove the sprouts prior to cooking and consumption.""--- NDSU Look up solanine on wikipedia.

    My only problem is that for a family of 4, I need at least 2 baskets of food. By the time the second one is done, the first one is cold or soggy. These dishes look great and I might give them a try when it’s just the 2of us at home. Thanks.
